I'll get us started since I was up early. A thunderstorm woke me up at 5:30. I was ready to get up since I went to bed early last night after a busy week. Not much on the agenda today except for lots of housework (I don't usually work Fridays), ds is at hockey camp and DH at work so just dd and I. I do need to do my last workout of week 2 for CLX since I skipped it last night, today was supposed to be my rest day. We ended up going to Dairy Queen last night as it was a Children's Hospital fundraiser, good reason to buy an ice cream;)

Cendrine. I sure hope you have a better day today! Did the playdate mom ever call you?? I had a look at the phase 2 workouts in CLX and they are all between 33-35 mins, so not any longer.

Rachael. Insanity is all cardio/no equipment. You use your body weight for resistance so no weights. I'm glad that you are seeing some results from the June rotation, are you on week 2 now??

Gayle. I'm so sorry to hear about your friend and grandma. I sure hope that you have some good support around you. I'm so glad that you and the boys got some time together at the beach.

Chrissy Nice to see you check in! Enjoy your time off, you'll be back to routine soon.

Just a quick pop in for me.

Kim I did not know they had Dairy Queen where you are! So weird, I once heard there was a DQ in every small town. Even if it was the only food place.

I am not feeling myself this week. It is really discouraging. I am hoping that I am just fighting some kind of virus that has been going around the job we are on and because I am so tough:p , it just can not take me completely out.:rolleyes:
I am never sick so maybe that would explain my loss of appetite and energy. It would be way less discouraging than that I am just worn out and exhausted. I know I have worked way longer hours and eaten worse in the past and this has never happened . So maybe after a day off this weekend I will feel better.

So Cendrine, I had one day of feeling like my old self and then here I am again feeling tired and no appetite again. I barely made it through disk 8 but I just could not quit an STS workout. Even if I am not doing the sts rotation...I feel like Cathe is my task master right now!

I wrote into her for a little advice on the subject and I hope she can give me some insight.

I had to do errands before work today but now I think I have waited long enough for the bank to be open so I am off...Wish me luck today gals.

Hi ladies. Thanks so much for the support on my friend and Grandmother. Life just sucks sometimes, but at the SAME time, it makes you realize how precious life really is.

Chrissy, I had been in a slump right after RT too. I got back into the bad attitude of "I deserve to take a few days off", but it led into almost 2 full weeks (yes, we've been home for almost 2 full WEEKS now). But I stopped it last night. I put my foot down and restarted a new personal 12-week challenge for myself. I've taken my measurements and starting pics, both of which aren't pretty due to bloating and the simple weight of all the junk in the trunk. lol After a week of de-bloating and de-junking (HA! Made up that word, lol), I'll feel much better and will be on the straight and narrow road.

I just finished up disc 3 Legs! OUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I forgot how Meso 1 FELT! YIKES! I'm soaked thru!

Today is going to be a day of school shopping with the kids, and a nice dinner at home (I'm thinking grilled chicken, corn on the cob for the kids, baked eggplant for me [yummy] and maybe some grilled red potatoes....how does THAT sound?)!

OK.....need to get the kiddos breakfast, we're leaving for shopping in 2 hours with my mom (she always buys their school shoes).

Hi Guys,

I did disk 8 today. Some of the weights printed on the card were way off! So I had to do some adjusting. But it was a good workout. All that's left for me this week is KPC.

Kim, thanks for checking the second month of dvds and times! I appreciate it.
The play date mom did finally call me 3 hours later and was apologetic and took ds yesterday instead. So I'm all better...LOL!

Rachel, I hope Cathe has some good insight for you! I'm so sorry you are going through this. I remember at the beginning of the year I had a bad season of fatigue where even getting up out of a chair was more effort than I felt like mustering up. But I have been consistently well since switching to the liquid complete multi I told you about a while ago. I'm not sure if it would help you with the appetite, but it might help with your energy level.

Gayle, it seems like you are all focused and back on track, that is great! Like you, I am on a personal challenge as well. This time my focus is more portion control than staying away from all things 'non-clean' I suspect I went a little too crazy on the clean and I finally snapped. So I'm trying moderation and portion control for now. Good luck on your detox week!

I don't have too much to say, I just wanted to bump us back to the main page. Is anyone going to catch Cathe on the Fox business thing. I am going to try to record it. I have to figure out what time it will be on here or just record a big block to make sure I get it. I rarely get to see anything with Cathe just telling about her career. Oh what I would give to get to go to one of these tour stops.

The end of this job is coming and I am really ready. I think I just need to get onto something else.

I am going to see how I feel when I wake up Cendrine, but as of right now I am on tap for KPC tomorrow too. Everyone keep your fingers crossed for me!
