I just wanted to get us started on a good note...I feel back to my old self.
I woke up this morning feeling good and refreshed and ready for disc2. I think I could have popped some cardio on the end there but I did not want to overdo it just in case it was a fluke or fleating energy. But nope I still feel good. Finally! I think I have a theory but no time to run it by yall now so I will try to tell it later after work...

Hi Rachel,

I'm glad your heavy work day yesterday didn't affect today's workout!

We were out at friends hous for dinner (not clean, not one single item!) and we got home late, so we slept in, and oh miracle of miracles, the kids slept in too! So I had breakfast, am letting it settle and then will do my workout in about an hour. Hey, it's summer break, I can do stuff like this... I haven't worked out this late in forever! Anyway, disk 2 on the menu, and sore in the legs...

Hi everyone,
I hope everyone is having a good day. I did disk 2 this a.m. & it went better than the last 2 workouts; I felt stronger. DOMS from Monday are finally subsiding but the legs are a little sore. I need to figure out what to do tomorrow; 50 min. run is scheduled but I don't run & I usually walk 3 mi. w/DH in the evening. I'm thinking of bumping everything up since Saturday is usually our long walk & so I cut rotations to 5 days - so I'll do Step Blast tomorrow & MM on Friday; then walk 10-12 miles on Saturday. What do you think? Anyone? Just curious if this is a viable plan. I'll also have to see how I feel tomorrow a.m. , energy level, DOMS, etc.
Well back to work. I hope everyone is doing well.

Well I did disc 21 today instead of disc 2 to match up with having done disc 19 instead of 1! So now I can be on track with all of you!

Rachel, glad your energy has returned! Anxious to hear you theory (is it a conspiracy theory? I love a mystery!)

Cendrine, I have to laugh about "not one single thing clean!" Hope you enjoyed it and you deserve to indulge in the summer break!

Measuredoak, I think your plan change sounds perfectly fine! You need to adjust to what works for you! I can't run tomorrow either so will do a 50 minute (or whatever it is) spin instead.

Tomorrow I see the ENT to have my catscan. And, oh by the way, I have a massive sinus infection so the timing is good! Scheesch! I'm so sick of headaches and sinus issues and allergies. Thank God my butt hurts like hell! I have something to feel good about! :cool::eek::D That's from Disc 3 yesterday thank you very much! I don't know about all of you, but my backend is like cement! Okay, back to work!

Let us know how your Catscan went! I sure hope you get to feel well soon!

Measuredoak, I agree with Jo, your plan looks fine, I have to switch things around sometime too. Glad you felt good doing disk 2 today!
 
Thanks for your replies Jo and Cendrine, then its Step Blast tomorrow. Glad to hear my bum is not the only sore one. I'm walking like I've been in the saddle too long. I hope DOMS won't last as long as the 1st go around w/STS.
Jo, I hope you get to feeling better soon.

Hey all How were your days? Mine was way less work than yesterday...No bleachers today but I felt like I would have been able to run them all day...Isn't that always the way, Where are the bleachers when you want them?:D

OK here is my theory, its not very exciting Jo so you can set back in your seat;). Normally the week before TTOTM I eat and EAT and EEAATT! By the time it gets here I am one big bloated mess! This time it was not like that. For one I was not home so I did not have time to dwell on my hunger and 2 I had all these premade meals so I was always covered for dinner and I did not just come home on an empty stomach and demolish whatever I could find. Then when TTOTM arrives I am fine and I feel fine and I go on about my week. I am wondering if because I did not binge all week I maybe did not get something that is in one of my normal binging treats like extra calcium in the cereal that I am sucking down or something like that, that I need to keep my energy up. Because last night after dinner I had a little bowl of cereal as a snack:eek: and this morning I woke up with all sorts of energy! I know it is a stretch but aren't all theories?

Jo-I am so sorry about the sinus infection but I am glad that you are finally going for the scan. Hopefully they can shine a light on this issue. I know migraine come in many forms and have many causes but at least they kind of have a jumping off point for you! Keep us updated.

Cendrine-Was it totally weird working out that late? I am always getting up early on my workout days even if I do not have to work because I hate interruptions and I know if dh is up he will interrupt me! Not to be mean spirited or anything but just to let me know he is up and then I feel like it is time to get the day rolling and then I am rushing through my workout and it just isn't the same. I like a pure uninterrupted workout:D

Measuredoak-I agree with everyone. I sometimes have to change up my stuff to adapt to time constraints. Enjoy step blast tomorrow! I will be doing IMAX2 for my intervals so I am already talking myself up!

Jo, just wanted to say good luck tomorrow. Sorry this will be a short post I'm not feeling too good so heading to bed. I took dd to see G-Force and I think I ate too much popcorn:eek:
