(<:--->6 month STS alumni<---:>) Happy Easter!

This morning I got up and went to the Pilates class with GF and we had a fantastic instructor. I think I mentioned before that I've never clicked with Pilates and have bought a number of DVD's but just couldn't get into it. But today, we had a great Pilates instructor and it completely changed my view! (Interesting how the instructor makes all the difference huh?) :p So now we love the spinning guy and the Pilates gal. She and the other Saturday Pilates instructor trade off every other week. This gal was very explicit about form and why you needed to be in certain positions, etc. (and I know my abs will be very sore tomorrow). So Kim in responding to what you said about missing out on some options at home. I find I'm really drawn to the classes I can't get from Cathe as well as using machines I don't have. Of course I do have a spin bike at home, but it's really fun spinning in a class environment for some variety. I would love it if Cathe made a spinning workout but I doubt that will happen. So, spinning, yoga and pilates are fun at the gym. I had fun with the cardio dance but it's more of an occasional interest. The classes I've yet to try: water aerobics, step, a martial arts fusion type class and some other low impact cardio that uses tubing (whatever that is!)

No date with DH yet! Which is why I'm here writing to you girls! DH had to go see a client today and when I got home from the gym he said he wanted to wait until tomorrow as our restaurant has all you can eat crab legs on Sunday. Date day is tomorrow! So I went to the mall and....drum roll....FINALLY used my gift certificate at lululemon! I got two pair of track pants that were half-off and a running shirt (long sleeve zip up with zipper pouch in the back...needless to say it's very cool!). Then I went to Lucy's and they had a sale also so bought a pair of pants there too. I've been wearing these old Nike track pants I have to the gym and have to keep washing them everyday. (I wouldn't dare wear to the gym what I wear at home to workout in - you know lycra shorts.) So I did want to get a couple of pants to wear as I want to wear long pants. Oh and I do have a pair of addidas capris I bought at Costco a few years ago (that I wore to the gym) but they're all stretched out and uncomfortable. I was at the mall until 5. Besides going to the fitness stores, I dillydallied at Williams Sonoma, Pottery Barn and then went into Harry & David for a free cup of coffee. Sigh...lazy afternoon at the mall when I should have been doing laundry!

I think that catches us up! Oh yeah and when I got home after the gym...I was going to get on and post and our cable was out! That was another good reason to hit the mall! :p Tomorrow!!!!
