6 month alumni ~~~ Week of Nov 22

Hi Girls

I got my chest, shoulders, triceps done, though I was very careful. However, like you, Rachel, I got a kick out of effortlessly being able to go heavier on the weights than Cathe did!LOL! It does a girl good to feel on top of it even if only for one week, until the next rotation comes around, right? LOL! :)

My Chiro actually says that lifting is the best thing I can do for my body, so I am assuming I would be off way worse if I didn't do weights. However, she does encourage me to not feel like I have to lift as heavy as Cathe. She has always been very supportive of my exercise and wishes her other patients were doing it too. The lower back issue I'm dealing with right now is because of a non-exercise related tweak, and I think any time that I do get exercise related stuff, it's probably because of poor form, meaning I try to lift heavier than I can do with good form. So I just need to quit trying to do more for a while.

I can't take credit for the cookies, I googled a recipe that said to puree the fruit... If I ever do come up with a recipe book, you will be my tester! LOL! Please let me know how your trifle turns out. I love trifle and am very intereseted in the recipe if you have time to share. I'm going to go prep my spiced pumpkin mousse right after this. I haven't had time to prepare the way I have wanted to, and I just found out that our dinner will be at lunch time not at dinner time tomorrow, so I better get a move on...

Cute story real quick, though. Ds has been working hard on his flash card facts for addition. He had gotten to level 4 on his gadget and had struggled, so I helped him take it one step at a time to imporve speed gradually. Because he got frustrated I told him I'd take him out to lunch the day he gets a hundred percent. That was today, and of course he wanted to go to MC Donalds... sigh. I was so disgusted looking at the menu and just couldn't get myself to order anything except fruit and even that bugged me, knowing how these big coorporations bully the poor farmers.... So I'm sitting there explaining to ds in as much detail as I could remember from Food inc what kind of life the chicken had that he was eating in form of nuggets, how bad the fat is for his arteries, what the pesticides to grow the fruit do to our planet and water, etc.... I probably went overboard, but he was fascinated and said, 'I actually hate this place! we should put fires to their stores for their own good....!' Where did he get that from, I want to know! So he was more than happy for me to suggest we find a different restaurant that cooks with organic ingredients next time, he's actually been to one and liked what they served. So for his level 5 incentive, that's were he wants to go! LOL!
If I don't make it on the boards tomorrow, I hope you all have a wonderful day tomorrow! I'm thankful for you all on this post, and glad I get to work out with you guys!

Hi Girls!

I didn't get to spin yet today as I overslept and we're having a short day at work so figure I'll get it done this afternoon. (Although I still have to go to the grocery store and that may be a long journey!)

Cendrine and Rachel...I am a wimp. I could only go heavier than Cathe on a couple of things  so now I am so inspired by you both! Actually, I can go heavier but I can't do it at the pace she goes at. So...I opt to do the same as her or occasionally lighter. Oh well! I'm glad your chiro wants you exercising!!!! That is encouraging but do be careful!

Cendrine, I loved the story about DS. You'll have that boy organic! I love it! Since we've always eaten mostly healthy, my stepson does prefer to eat healthy and makes good choices though he's not a strict as I am. But I feel good that I raised him enjoying the benefits and "feel good" of eating well and he chooses fruit over junk and is conscience about what he puts into his body. (For the most part!)

Rachel, I did Slim Series years ago and have also done P90X but I always go back to Cathe. (So, I don't even venture out any more.) I have always clicked with her and feel her workouts are superior. Though I think P90X is a good series, I got bored with it. Slim Series bored me to tears and I dreaded it (only did it for 2 weeks). I've been doing Cathe since 1994 and it looks like shes a good formula for me! LOL!

Kim, what did you think of TBL? Are you going to watch the "where are they now?" tonight? I'm looking forward to that.

Last thing...Rachel I still don't know what I'm making tomorrow but will know tonight! I'm on my way home now to figure it out! This isn't like me so I don't know why I can't get myself together on this. I guess since we've been so last minute this time...I just don't know! Also, we only have 2 people coming over so it will be small. We do have a small turkey however so that's a start!

Hi everybody. SO SO SO sorry I was MIA this week. I spent last weekend getting my spare bedroom ready for my Aunt's visit, and it just grew into another part of the house. Just when I thought I was close to being done, I'd start another project! LOL And now that my Aunt is here (been here since Monday), we're all lazy bums who are eating well (and by WELL I don't necessarily mean HEALTHY WELL, lol). My kids had half days till today and I spent those hours scrapbooking. My Aunt slept till AFTER the kids got home around noon and we all have just been hanging around the house chatting (and eating, yes). It's been GREAT. And I think I really needed the break from the crazy thing called life.

Food has been so-so; my Aunt and I have some traditions that include certain foods (like the homemade ricotta and mozzarella, with homemade pesto and roasted red peppers; like the local farmers market potato wedges and chicken pot pies). I think it's time to find new traditions, hugh? :)

I won't be on the boards till Monday, most likely. Tomorrow is obviously T-Day, DS has a basketball Friday thru Sunday and I don't know exactly when he'll be on court. I'll be trying to do some shopping in between. SO..........

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you and your families! I'll see you when I get back online!

Gayle

Hi again!

after thinking I had to have thanksgiving dinner on the table for lunch tomorrow I got cracking on the prepwork right away and then I got a phonecall telling me it was a mistake... Soooo now everything is as ready as can be and I'll actually be able to take tomorrow easy, I like it!

Jo, I love that you raised your son to make healthy choices! I am encouraged every time my kids will ask for dessert and when I ask them what they want they say apple or something like that! Dd actually thinks Broccoli and carrots are perfect breakfast foods!LOL! The reason I started telling ds in so much detail why I don't like Mc Donalds is so he would know the whys and not just feel like it is some rule to break when he gets older. I really want my kids to not only love healthy foods, which they already do, but also why we eat them and more importantly why we don't have the snacks they get at other houses at our house.
I hope you got to the store before it got really crazy! Did you get the spinning in? If not, I bet just fighting your way through the store was exercise...LOL
By the way, I don't think you are a whimp, and I know I said this before! I think we all have our muscle groups that are a bit more challenged than others. I can usually keep up for chest and triceps, but am iffy on side laterals and bicep curls if the speed is too fast. I always hate the halfways on bicep curls, no matter how light I lift for those, they always get me even though I can lift much heavier for other bicep exercises.

Gayle, enjoy your time off and relax, life will catch up again soon enough!

My back has been responding well to me not aggravating it, I think I'll be able to do 4DS double cardio tomorrow.

Hi All! I'm gearing up for TBL "where are they now" so dropping a quick post!

I did not get my spin in so I think tomorrow I'll do a 30 minute spin and then maybe PS legs...will see...maybe just the spin. ;) Anyway, I always do an extra long workout on T-day so it would be great to do them both! But I remember PS Legs was tough, and since it's been a while, doing them both may give me mucho DOMS! LOL! But, I'll have time to have breakfast BEFORE I workout so I would have more energy...what to do what to do...oh the choices are endless!!!!

Cendrine, one more thing on the food and my stepson. His mother lives on the east coast. So he used to see her at Xmas, etc. Anyway, when he was a teenager, after being there one time, he came home and told me he didn't like the way they eat as they ate a lot of pizza and junk food. And that he didn't like that she didn't have fruit or broccoli in the house! I have to tell you...I LOVED THAT! Glad your back is responding!

Food for tomorrow: (Again it's just the three of us and one other couple)

DH is fixing 8 lb turkey breast in our rotisserary (sp?)
DH is also smoking a salmon in the early morning
Making a little bit of stuffing (I don't eat it but DH and friends want it!)
Mashed sweet potatoes
Baked aspargus brushed with olive oil and smoked paprika
Cold brussel sprouts & cauliflower salad with pimento's (they are cooked first then tossed with a little olive oil and chilled)
Jo's famous tuscan kale soup (I'm making this as they've never had it and I just HAVE too!)
Lots of fresh cut vegetables for snacks
They are bringing homemade huckleberry pie (they picked berries last summer and made pie and froze)

So this is a very nontraditional dinner for us...but I still get to keep everyone on track. The only naughty thing is the pie! No rolls or anything!

We will be eating around 2:00 and then I think we're watching the new Star Trek movie!

Gayle, have a great weekend!
Cendrine, glad you get to relax a little!
Rachel, hope you're not killing yourself trying to get ready!
Kim, well all be eating for everyone tomorrow!

Everyone, I don't know how I got that mean face in the subject line...but it's there by accident!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!!

Cendrine, Rachel, Kim and Gayle,

I'm thankful for the friendship you all provide me, that STS brought us together and that we've been here for each other this year!

You all help me stay on track, keep me accountable and motivate me each and every day! I am inspired by your accomplishments and encouraged by your ambitions! I love that we have so much in common, and most importantly it's our love and passion for health and fitness.

Thank you for being my friends and allowing me to be a little part of your lives as you are part of mine!

Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Aww, thanks Jo!

Hope all my American friends have a wonderful Thanksgiving! Enjoy this special time with your family!

I'm heading off to my last day at work:D:D

Good Morning Everyone!!! Happy Thanksgiving Morning!

I just finished drinking my coffee and looking at all the MMA pictures for STS Cardio! GO LOOK! This is what I needed this morning to really get me motivated!!! Yippeee!!!!

Okay, I'm off to spin and PS Legs! Wish me luck! Hope everyone has a great day!

Gobble gobble!!!

OH my goodness...Sorry I have not been in yet

Happy Thanksgiving! I am about to die I am so full! But I am not going to beat myself up about. What is done is done right!

I just wanted to pop in and say that I have thought about yall all day! I have never been fortunate enough to have any girl friends to work out with and every day during my work out, I always think about yall and it pushes me to do better.
I am so thankful for the friendship that we share and you all letting me share this journey that we are on. Thank you!

I hope you all are having a great day!

Rachel

Hi Guys,

just a little post to tell you we had a fun day and our thanksgiving meal was delish and clean all the way except for the whipped cream on the pumpkin spice mousse! I never ate this clean for thanksgiving before!
Rachel how did your sweet potatoes turn out? We loved ours!

Jo, I was reading your post all the while waiting for you to share what made you mad...LOL! Nothing, it turns out! :D I'm impressed with your workout selection for today! I planned on doing double cardio, but listened to my body and only did one half of it. Tomorrow is legs and a walk around a lake in the mountains.

Hi Again! Well I wasn't really that bad...I didn't eat too much! I splurged with pie and ice cream however and I enjoyed every minute of it!

I ended up not spinning (again) as I realized I spent too much time drinking coffee! So I did PS Legs & Abs - again really enjoying these workouts! I love the floor work with the body bar! Anyway, the last Saturday of every month I do Cardio Coach Press Play with Gayle and some other Catheites...so since that would have been my day off and I never worked out yesterday, I'm switching those two days. So tomorrow will be Step Jam as planned and then spin on Saturday and start the Gym Styles on Sunday. I've really enjoyed this week with PS! I need to rotate that in more often. I really do enjoy the variety of Cathe's weight work series. You always think...how many ways are there to lift weights? But Cathe always finds new (and old!) ways!

We did have an enjoyable, relaxing day today with our friends. We ate around 2:00, visited and then watched Star Trek movie. I plan to be early to bed tonight so I can read. And then sleep IN!

Hope you all had a great day! I may do a little extra cardio tomorrow to work off that pie! LOL! It's amazing; I didn't really eat that much or that bad, but I feel really bloated! That's what happens when we eat really clean and then eat sugar...it pops out! Talk to you all tomorrow...or talk to whoever is around!

Sounds like everyone had a enjoyable Thanksgiving! Does anyone go shopping on your Black Friday??

Yesterday was my last day of work for 2 weeks:D:D:D Kids don't have school today because of parent teacher conferences so I had 2 days to keep the very overly excited kids occupied:rolleyes: It will be a long 2 days of waiting to go. Today I'm going to parent teachers, some errands and hair appointment for dd and I. I'm tempted to not workout as I feel like I'm in vacation mode especially as we're worked out for the last 10 days straight so we'll see if we get these last 2 planned workouts in.

Cendrine The walk around the lake sounds nice and relaxing. What kind of weather do you guys have now? Glad your back is better, I'm sure the weight lifting has to be beneficial as long as you do proper form. WTG on lifting higher that Cathe! With CLX and the first month of Insanity having shorter workouts, I've got spoiled! It's hard going back to the longer workouts but this second month of Insanity will get me back ready for Cathe. The kids do get homework packages from their teachers, we're supposed to get them at parent teachers today. It's usually not really that much and maybe they can even do them today/tomorrow before we leave. Also they always have to keep a journal of their trip and do a little presentation when they get back.

Racahel You asked about DH and I working out together. We are never competitive. He is very supportive of me working out. He always thanks me and says that if it wasn't for me working out that he probably wouldn't. (which I think is true) He's a great athlete, (ds takes after him) but is not too highly motivated. He's very tall and lean. He can go run a 3.5 hr marathon with little training (drives me crazy as I trained like crazy for a 4.5 hr marathong) and then not workout for months. I workout consistently and he doesn't so I can almost keep up to him. I often can lift heavier than him:D WTG on lifting heavier than Cathe!!

You asked about the different programs. I have done P90X, BFL, CLX and STS(it's like talking in code). The Beachbody products (P90X, CLX and Insanity) are all well rounded good workout plans but I couldn't do any of them very often. Even finishing one round is difficult. Both CXL and Insanity have almost exactly the same warm up/cooldown for every single workout!!! The patterns of the workouts don't change much and really you only have 3 or 4 workouts that you use over and over each month. They just isn't the fun factor, or the variety that Cathe offers. They're great in that they provided the whole exercise/nutrition plan for 2 or 3 months so very little thinking. Very structured programs. P90X and Insanity I could see doing another rotation a year or two from now for some variety but not CLX. I've been doing Cathe for 10 yrs with only the occasional break and I've only done each one of those programs one time. Just nice for the occasional variety.

Jo. I did watch TBL and the special. It looks like most people are doing great! It makes you wonder if those are they people that are willing to go on the show though. It was great to see Max (I'm terrible with names) the brother/son of the pair on last years show that had lost 100 lbs! You asked about Insanity, I would recommend Insanity. For a real intense tow month cardio program it is very good. I've enjoyed it more than CLX or P90X. They would be good workouts to just sub in occasionally too.

Gayle sounds like you're enjoying your well deserved vacation!

Got to go have a shower then head to the school to see what the teachers have to say about my kids.

Ok I am going to change up a little and do personals first...I tend to forget stuff if I don't! I swear my memory is so bad!

Jo-One thing I forgot from forever ago is that I thought it was funny how flax and black beans are supposed to help prevent hot flashes and there you are eating those things and still hot flashing like crazy! I think a lot of the time they are just guessing or that they lump us all into a category and just because those things worked for some they think they work for all! It is silly if you think about how different we all are!
Now, I know what you mean about Thanksgiving bloat. I really did not feel that I ate just a whole lot but I did have dessert and that is not something I normally do. I think I just ate more than I normally do at that time of day and my body said...HUH!

Kim-I do not know how you are going to contain all of that excitement that must be brewing in your house! Maybe some group exercise! lol
Your dh sounds sort of like mine. All except for the working out. He doesn't really work out too much but he maintains a pretty healthy form! He even eats more of what he wants than of what he should too.. I guess that is a guy thing for ya!
I was going to ask are you going to check in periodically while you are away or are you going to be strictly computer free?

Cendrine-How was PS legs for you today? The sweet potatoes were great. I was surprised that my FIL even ate them and he does not like anything healthy. Of course I saved that tidbit of info until he said they were good! Or else he probably would have found something to say. I do not know if I missed this but do you live near a lake or are yall going to one? It sounds like a great plan for the day!

OK I think I do better that way! ;)That way everything is still fresh on my mind. I did not have time to talk about yesterdays work out...I took Jo's advice and did IMAX3. I had not done it before and did not have time to preview it so yall can imagine how that went...haha. I think I did IMAX & and third! I would miss steps so I would try to finish it out and then skip back to the beginning of that segment and start all over! This was a good work out for T-day. All the extra I think made me know why I would not indulge too much...Nobody wants to do 2 IMAX's in a row to burn off all those extra calories! I liked it though. Since I had only done Imax2 up until then it was a refreshing change on a similar work out style!

Today was PS legs for me of course, and I liked it a lot. I am so glad this series was in this month's rotation because I am not sure if it would have been one I would have picked if not. I too really like it, Jo and I know I will use it again! I just could not believe I got doms...it seemed too short at first for that but it really got a lot done in a little time!

I am going to see where the day takes me today. I do not have any definite plans but I might go crash my brothers thanksgiving. There schedules made it to where they are having it today! No feeding for me though...I am back to regular eating!

Have a great day!
Rachel

Hi Guys,

I did manage to get PS legs done, but I did skip the deadlift portion because my back is still not out of the woods, but I was able to do everything else, although I would put down my weights on the table during breaks rather than on the floor so I wouldn't have to bend over. Even with squatting to pick up the weights, there is still bending involved... But it was a good workout, the floor work really got me this time! I already feel sore in the area! I don't do floorwork a lot so I guess I am always going to feel this one a bit more...LOL!

We don't live by a nice lake, although there are a few small ones around, mostly manmade though. But a friend of mine has moved to the mountains and she goes up to a lake about 10 min from lake arrowhead, which is smaller and less known and she took us today to see it and enjoy it! The weather was clear and sunny but very windy and cold for our standards. Down in the city it was 72 degrees and up by the lake it was 52, quite a drop! It was beautiful seeing the fall leaves and the beauty of mountain landscape! A very nice after Thanksgiving thing to do! We'll go back again, apparently you can fish in the lake and ds always wants to fish!

Rachel, I'm glad the sweet potatoes turned out so well and that FIL liked it too! How was the trifle? I'm with you all, our poor bodies can't handle sugar like it used to! I don't even feel like attacking the chocolate covered pomegranate that my husband has lying around, and that says a lot, because I have no self control with those usually!

My friend's house has orange and grapefruit trees and lots of fruit was lying on the ground which we were invited to take home. I really craved a nice, healthy dose of juice so I juiced all the fruit and it so hit the spot!

I'm not sure if I'll make it through Step Jam tomorrow, as I am exhausted from a migraine all day, so maybe I'll rest and take the fam on a bikeride later in the day. Sleeping in just sounds really good right now, and I have to get the house cleaned tomorrow, so not sure if I'll feel up to cardio in the a.m.

It will all depend on when I wake up tomorrow. I'm really looking forward to next weeks Gym style series, that one is a new one for me! I'm sure it is going to leave me with nice doms just like the last two weeks did. Can you guys believe we are already on our 3rd week?

Hi all, it's late Friday night and I'm heading to bed. Just wanted to wish you all a (belated) Happy Thanksgiving and that I so cherish our chatting and hanging out here on the Cathe boards. I've gotten so much inspiration, information, advice and RECIPES from all of you! I appreciate every little morsel of it all!

I'm heading to bed, as I want to be on the TM by 6:30am tomorrow morning doing CCPP (Jo, did I read it correctly that you will be doing it too?). Then abs ala Cathe and a stretch (again, ala Cathe, lol).

G'night. See you all sometime tomorrow.

Gayle

Hi guys! Busy day today! DH and I were just running around doing stuff all day. We have a holiday party tomorrow night so had to get food for that, DH is in commercial real estate and so went with him to take pictures of some buildings, property, etc. and then we went to this little eclectic coffee shop and sat outside and had coffee (yes sun was shining...it was 45 degrees, but it was nice!). We only sat outside for about 10 minutes and then we walked around. I did get Step Jam done today and it felt really great! The funny thing is I get used to all the interval work so it seemed almost as hard doing 60 minutes of steady state then if I'd done intervals! (Maybe still full from yesterday too!) LOL!

Kim, how fun now that you'll be off! I'll bet the kids are so excited!!! TBL show was good wasn't it? I agree with you though; I'm sure a lot of people didn't want to be filmed! I really enjoyed the show and wasn't it interesting seeing Matt doing the triathalon? Oh, and Max, the son! I'll bet helping him lose weight helps keep the dad and brother in check! I was very happy for them!

Rachel, I had to laugh about you and Imax 3! I didn't realize you hadn't done it before! You'll do great next time! Isn't always so interesting trying to learn a new workout?! LOL! Well, fortunately, there's enough repetition you'll have it down in no time! Of the 3, Imax 3 is my favorite though I like them all for different reasons!

Cendrine, OH NO NOT A MIGRAINE!!!! I feel for you! I hope you can shake it off! Do you think your back issues have anything to do with triggering your headache? Or do you know what it was? I'm glad you got to spend some time out doors today though! Oh...I'm sending you positive vibes!!!

Gayle, yes, I'm on for CCPP tomorrow...so I'll be thinking of you...but you'll be long done before I even start! I love that workout! But I do it on my spin bike; no running for me!

Oh, and when DH and I were at the store today I bought a persimmon (just one). So we're going to try it tomorrow. I've never had one - can you believe it? Cendrine, you peaked my interest though.

Off to watch a movie - I'm not sure what DH has in mind, but he's waiting for me! Talk to you all tomorrow!

Well Dh and I did decided to start our fitness vacation. So no workout for me. My body feels like it needs the break!

Jo I was so impressed with Matt even attempting an ironman trialathon! Have fun with CCCP, I never did get that one.

Cendrine Hope you had a nice sleep and the migraine is gone!! Have a great time trying out Gym Styles this week! Good luck with the pushups in Chest/triceps.

Rachael I'm sure I won't check in when I'm away. No laptop computer so can't do that. So how does Imax 3 compare to Imax 2??

Really not much on the agenda for today some housecleaning and packing. The only scheduled event is piano lessons for dd.

Hi, ladies. Quick fly by for me.

Jo, I bought a pomegranate for the FIRST time the other day and will cutting into it today to see what it's all about. A 3rd grader was eating pom seeds the other day and I was chatting with him about it and told him because of HIM, I was going to try my first! LOL I can't wait to report back to him on Wednesday at school.

Kim, enjoy your much-need fitness hiatus. Recovery, that's the word, right? :)

CCPP workout is done. WOO HOO! I started on the TM as I planned, but my left shin started burning pretty badly toward the end of challenge 1 (which I think is the hardest in this workout). So I finished that challenge running then jumped on my much-dreaded not-used-much stationary bike and WOW...................what a sweat! Finished it all there, burned over 600 calories according to my HRM and just downed M1 (egg whites, oatmeal and ground flax.

More basketball today. Then it's home, where I'll be making a few clean dishes with all these veggies I've got floating around. Planning on making the Veggie Hash from Clean Eating mag and Roasted Garlic and Sweet Potato Soup from Tosca's book. YUMMY! I'll catch up with you all later!

Have an AWESOME SATURDAY and no matter what you're doing or who you're with, make the day COUNT!

Gayle

Good morning guys...
SO today was step jam and I had never done this one before and did not have time to preview it either! I knew it would be ok though because I had plenty of time for rewinding if need be. Luckily enough though I caught on to this one rather quickly. I think , like Cendrine said before, the older ones are introducing some of the steps from the ones I am used to so it makes it not so complicated. Thank goodness. I think I am with you ,Jo, the steady state got me almost like the intervals. That is so funny how your body adapts like that. Thanks to Cathe we can always keep it guessing.

I don't know if we have discussed this yet...pesky memory...but are any of you getting the heavy bag for the MMA bonus workout? I am not sure yet. I am going to probably wait and see what the work out looks like and how long it is and see if I can justify the bag for the one work out. I really want to because I think it would be so much fun but it might be a little extravagant for me to get the bag for a work out I might not do that often. So what are yall doing? I am getting so excited about these workouts! I can not believe that in a little over 2 weeks that we will maybe be getting them! I can not wait to see what the combo of sts and shock cardio is going to do for our bodies!

OK I have no idea what is on tap for today! These long weekends are turning me upside down:D

Have a great day!
Rachel

Hi Guys,

no workout for me today :( my back was much worse this morning and I can't figure out what is going on. I can't even clean, it's so bad. Dh is so sweet and cleaning without me. He is such a good guy!

I had a little lumbar massager work on my back for a bit and seem to be a little bit better now. But I'm not going to push it.
Jo, I don't know if the lower back issues brought on the migraine, maybe it's my cycle. I didn't used to have related issues, but lately they've been more frequent. Talking of frequent, you seem to have had a break of them, right? I'm really happy for you about that!
I hope you picked a really, really orange persimmon, because otherwise it might make your mouth pucker...LOL!
Galye, Pomegranates are so much fun, but I prefer getting the kernels without the whole fruit. Costco sells them that way during the fall, otherwise it's too much work for me to bother...LOL!
I'm sitting here doing some menuplanning of clean eating magazine recipes as well. Not sure when I'll get to the store, but it's nice to have the list ready to go.
Rachel, I'm glad you caught on to Step Jam, isn't it fun to be able to go with it just like that?
Kim, we'll miss you here but have a wonderful vacation and bring back some pics to post!
