Hey guys..

Sorry I did not check in yesterday, it was not my most shining star day! I always put gas in the truck because dh gets breakfast at the stare we stop at so I like to rush things a bit and fill up while he goes in. Well I think I have put diesel in that truck a hundred times and yesterday I decided to put GAS in! 40 dollars later I realized my mistake so my knees got a little wobbly and I told dh when he came out. So then we had to be towed to the dealership to get the tank drained and here we are. Like I said it was not my best day. Thank goodness I have a great dh. He took it in stride and told me mistakes happened all while I set in the front seat and cried:eek:. I felt like a total dumba##! Everyone at the store was trying to make me feel better by telling me how often it happened. All I have to say is Today has to be better!

And Cendrine, I think it will be because I did our scheduled workout for today! I felt pretty good too. But I did have that looming thing in the back of my mind of 'is it too soon'. But I think that is why my mind is not in the right place. I just have not been thinking clearly.

Kim-Sorry your daughter is sick.

Jo-You have not missed much around here. It has kind of been a ghost town. I am so glad you are back and proud of you for keeping your spirits up even though your plans had to change.

OK guys I am going to try to go to work with no hiccups today. Cross a finger for me!

Oh Rachel! Don't beat yourself up! In the grand scheme of things it's not a big deal and it'll all be forgotten! But I feel your pain! It's going to be all uphill for the rest of the day!:cool::D

Kim, I'm so sorry about your dd! You've had your share of illnesses these last few months. What's going on with the running at your house? Are you guys training for anything?

Cendrine, you must be relieved DH was able to keep his job! But yes, picking up the slack is definitely the downside to lay offs!

So I did BM2 Scrambled Cardio today. It's actually 80 minutes and I only got through 55. Since I haven't worked out in over a week, I just didn't have the oompah to finish it! I even had to lower my step. Oh well, but it felt great to get the body moving again!

Okay, off to the shower and on to work! It's going to be another 90 degree day here today so I'm dressing cool! :cool:
 
Kim, I forgot to add...YES I READ the blog and I'm so excited! It says they still plan on shipping this fall....YIPPEEE!!! I hope I hope I hope!:eek:
 
Hi Everybody!

I did LIC according to schedule and it went well. Now I am bracing myself for a 4.5 hr playdate with a pretty hyper not so good on the obedience - friend of ds. His parents asked me to watch him while they went to a business meeting... Well, I am going to take them to the park for at least 2 of the hours and maybe do some baking to keep them busy when we get home...

Rachel, that is something that could totally happen to me! How nice that your husband didn't get angry at you. Now take the rest of the week off, you hear? :rolleyes: How are you feeling anyway?

Jo, we only get into the 80s here this week and it is overcast unitl about 11 each day... good job getting 55 min done on the workout, that is excellent, and a gread jump start back after your fun vacation!

Well my dh got his baby back (truck)! No real harm done except for the 210 dollar labor bill but in the grand scheme of things (as Jo said) That is not really that bad. Considering everyone else that has heard my story has said that they cranked up and drove down the road before they realized! Much more damage would have been done! So phewww!

Cendrine-I feel as good as new! I have all the appetite I could ever need. It is like last week is a distant memory. I think something that helped was that even though I had no appetite I tried to keep eating anyway. At least something in when it was my normal time to eat. It is so neat that you can just take the kids to Disney for half a day. That is definitely a perk!

Kim-I forgot to comment on the blog! Sorry my mind is so scattered! I am so excited. I just started looking ove Cathe's rotations but do you think she will make a special one when sts cardio comes out? I can hardly weight. I hope dd is feeling better!

Jo-Good job getting back into the swing of things. I find myself lowering the step on the blast portion of BM2. Esp. after I have gone through the rest. That is a deceivingly tough workout!

I know Cendrine, I was going to take the week off but I think I might be alright! I am going to see how I feel tomorrow morning and I might go for disk 26. I really want to get back on the rotation. I just feel like a whole person when I am working out!
