Finally getting a chance to just sit down and catch up from the last few days. It's funny how much time work takes out of my day from doing nothing.
We finished up the church we were working at today. It was just carpeting a stage and then basing out the rest of the building. It was a new building for their youth group so they stained all the floors black and painted white stripes down the middle. They had a sign on the outside that said Main Street. I thought it was cute.
Then we went straight over to another job by the same builder. It is a little medical clinic so it should not take us too long either.
I am sticking with the rotation and thanks for all the encouraging words. This one is a toughy. So far I have felt pretty good. Hopefully I get a little faster at the bonus butt workout. At the end you do the bonus leg conditioning drills from LBB. To be honest I had not tried those yet.
I liked the sequence though.
Cendrine-I had to laugh about you not knowing what a raccoon was. It reminded me of when DH's granddad came over to visit from Norway. He came in the spring. He would set out on the porch before anyone got up and draw pictures of things he saw and would ask what they were. He was a pretty good artist. The one I remember well was a drawing he did of a common lizard we have. It was several yrs ago and I remember being surprised at how naive I was that everyone would know what it was since I had seen them every day of my life.
I think you are making the right choice on a rest week. I feel so much better after I have taken one. I think it will do wonders for you too. It also helps when the rest of your life is in order. It makes it easier to not stress about taking time out to do you workouts. Happy Birthday to DH!!!
Kim-I am so happy you finally got time off to enjoy your house. I bet it was kind of fun setting up dd's room.Did you ever have the curtain people come?
At least you are getting a few early days on JD. That probably helps give your mind a break. I agree that concentrating so hard like that can get exhausting esp. when you feel like you are deciding someones life.
Jo-Poor DH...I hope it was not raining when he was out looking for the rogue noise. My DH is the one to hear all the night noises. It's weird I sleep through the noise but then I hear him wake up...How weird is that? lol
I am glad you got the presentation behind you now and maybe it will feel like the downhill stretch. YOU CAN DO IT...Smarty pants.
Oh I heard this crazy story on the way home on the radio. Supposedly (I need to google after I get off here)there is a super pack of wolves in Russia, 400, that are attacking horses. They are starving because the rabbits and other normal things that they usually prey on are depleted. I just thought that was a crazy story and Jo's coyotes made me think of it again.
On that crazy note...I am off!
Good Luck in the kitchen, Cendrine!
