6 Month alumni checkin Wednesday

Starting us off again.

We got home so late yesterday from work I did not have time to check back in! 8pm! I can not wait for this job to be over with. Yesterday we were on a roll and then we came to some carpet that had some very small flaws in it. Mind you this room that we are working in is going to be full of treadmills and workout equipment so it is a good possibility that these flaws will be covered and a bigger possibility that no one would have noticed them but we did not want to take the risk so we had to notify the owner and now they are trying to decide what they want to do. We had already cut up and put into place almost all of it before we came to the flaws. That was almost 500 ft of carpet. It is alot of work that might have to be completely redone since if they get more carpet it will most likely be another shade. I know this is probably boring but it is sooooo frustrating I had to share.

Now onto more fun stuff. Today was 4DS Hi and lo step and it was really fun. I was a little tired this morning so I decided to use that opportunity to really learn the last segment of the HIS part. I just have never had time to really get in there and learn it. Now I am a little better. When I got to that segment I just kept repeating it until I got it and then I moved onto the blast and repeated it until I had it. It felt good. They has been nagging me for a long time!

I am glad you are back Chrissy-That must have been a long vacation! It sounds like it was so much fun. I think it is great that you have a pet now. Name? I have had a pet my whole life. I do not think I have ever been without one.

Cendrine-That reminded me, How is the puppy thing looking. Are yall going to be a 'puppy foster family'? I do not know if I could do that because I would become so attached if I had to keep them for 18 months and then give them up. But the cause is great and it would be a great thing for your kids!

OK I need to go see how my day will turn out!:D:(:mad::rolleyes:

Can someone please tell me why one plyo workout leaves me sore for 5 days and another one doesn't phase me at all? I did plyo 29 yesterday and I am not feeling it at all:confused:

Today was disk 10. It felt long today and I didn't do the 20 min run afterwards because I am taking ds to a fitness course in the afternoon and I think that can count as the 20 min run... Yeah, I felt a little lazy and probably wouldn't have done it even if I wasn't getting more exercise later...

Rachel, what a frustrating day, to find the flaws after all that work! That would have bugged me too, but it nevertheless was the right thing to do and speaks of you guy's integrity! Hopefully fixing the problem will be easier than expected.
I hear you on that last step segment! It took me a while to learn to! Doesn't it feel great when you have it down?

As far as the puppy goes, it's on the back burner. I am thinking we should wait and revisit the topic once we have read the book about the blind boy with the dog. That would give ds a good pic of what to expect and then we can decide as a family. I know giving up the puppy will be tough, I was crying while watching the clip online and I didn't even know the dogs!...

We are never going to finish this job.
I will just leave it at that!

Cendrine- I know how you feel on the plyo. Except it was the opposite for me, I am sore this week! I think I was definitely taking it easy last week but sometimes I feel I am giving it my all and I do not get sore! There is no telling! I am doing the disk 10 tomorrow. I have to get on the ball and figure out some sort of rotation for next month. I am going to try to do little or no STS so it will be fresh for the shock cardio. I just hope it really does make it by fall. I am keeping my fingers crossed. I am looking forward to new stuff. I guess I need to give the gym style series a look! What dvd's have the slow and heavy work?

I better go. I have a little extra time tonight and I need to get some dh time in.:p

Just a quick post from me. I took today and yesterday off as I decided I better let the PF settled down. One of the therapists I work with who knows alot more about feet than I do, gave me some specialized inserts for my shoes and that seems to be helping. It's been nice to have the extra time to do other things, last night I went shopping with the kids for school supplies ($175:confused::confused:) Tonight I spent a long time weeding the garden.

I have Thursday and Friday off work (just because I work parttime) so I'll be around to post.
