Good morning!
This is my first official day of the start of my 1 whole week off!!!! I have not had this much time off is so long that I am unsure what to do first. I have a mountain of stuff that needs to be done but also have the stuff I just want to do! So I think I will start with the unfun stuff like cleaning and work my way to the more fun relaxing stuff like searching and trying some new recipes. Of course we are leaving next Thursday and I will have to do some prepping for that. Our truck is full of things from the job we were on so we will need to go through those things and see what we need to store and what we can trash. It feels so strange being done.
I did not come home and workout last night because on the way home we took a detour and went by some friends of ours that we had not been able to see since the beginning of the job. The have a farm with llama's and miniature cows, horses, goats, miniature donkey's, chickens, guineas, peacocks, dogs and cats and even a wallabee named Zeek
. It is always fun to go there and see all the new babies and what they have decided to start raising next. One of their miniature donkeys (a baby) likes to run in front of you and stop so you can scratch it's behind. Very cute!
We are going back this afternoon to go out to dinner and visit some more.
So today's workout was plyo of my choosing and I am embarrassed to say I searched out one with no half turn jumps
Is that wrong?
I still gave this one more than I had so I did not fel so bad about trying to do one that I considered easier.
Kim-I know you probably are not around but I have no idea how to cut and paste either. I need to learn how to do that and how to post photos. I am sure it can not be too hard. Right? Your weekend sounds like so much fun. As a family we do not really get together. So that sounds like so much fun to me. I hope you are having a blast!
Cendrine-Did UPS make it? If so what did you decide to try this morning? I have a little of the culture problem too. DH is Norwegian. His dad is American and his mom is Norwegian. She has been here since she was eighteen but all of the rest of her family is there. Dh and I are planning to try to go next year and I am nervous. Most of them speak some english but I think I should try to learn some phrases in Norwegian to be respectful. I just do not want to be the dumb American who did not try. Do you know what I mean?
OK well this house is not cleaning itself so I better go see what I can do!
Have a great Saturday!
