Good Morning to all that follow:

Today was another I-Tread interval walk. I know I must be really boring with all the same cardio.. For me, these are really motivating. Right now I have no desire to do kickboxing or step.. I am sure that will change at some point. Topday and I will be at an offsite location for 2 days of diversity training. Actually on the second half of tomorrow, we go to work at the Ronald McDonald House which is where relatives of sick children can stay if there child is here from another city for cancer treatment etc. We volunteer and clean, cook or do whatever they need to have done.

Jen:
Hope all is well with you and yours and all are safe. I wish I had a job where I was moving around a bit too. I wish I had your nails!

Garance:
I like how Cathe and the crew look in those new outfits. but I am sure I would not look the same! x( .. plus they are pretty expensive for working out! I wear old sweat pant type shorts and a jogging bra. No one sees me except DH so I can't see spending money on those clothes. I love how you described your hair when it is humid! LOL..

Linny:
After I read your response I also went to I-Train and downloaded the free nutrition session. I have not listened yet but will later. I think it's an hour long. Let me know if you decide to download a workout, I have the 2 free promo codes that you can use. I started with burning them on CD's and just popping them in my DVD player to use, just like any other workout on DVD. I will do the eating log with you starting next week. I do not profess to eat "clean" by any means! I think that if I really restrict what I eat completely, I am setting myself up to fail. You put the S&H back? Come on... try a rotation with S&H one body part and 30 min of cardio each day.. this is what kicked off my weight loss, that with reducing calories of course :7

Have a great day!

Deb:)

Hey... one more question for all that follow today:

Does anyone use a sunless tanner? if so, which one. and are you happy with the results? I have tried many, and of course you can never get away from that awful sunless tanner smell... but I would sacrifice that if the results were ok..

Deb

Good Morning Ladies,

I'm back from vacation. I had a great time with my grandson, I walked with him at the beach 3 times, we did 6 miles each time and then we went to breakfast and to the swings. The other days we went to the pool and just had fun the whole week. On Monday I went to the casinos here in California for my birthday, I turned 51 and feel great!

Deb, I got some tan towels from HSN which I love and they work great.
There is now streaking or funny smell. When you go into the web-site just do a search for tan towels and it will get you to the site. They are not expensive!

Yesterday I ran 3 miles and today I will be doing my cardio coach at lunch and going to the gym this evening for my weight training.

Have a great day everyone!

Josie

Hi Deb and Josie and later posters--

I, too, chickened out (more fear of boredom than cowardice) on doing a Slow and Heavy. Too slooow for me in my present mood. Instead, I did Gym Style Back, Shoulders, Biceps. I am getting impatient for Cathe's new workouts. I just feel like I am in a state of boredom and need something new to motivate me. If I had a treadmill, I would probably want to try your I-Tread workouts, since they sound so motivating. Maybe this is why I want some of those OHMYBOD outfits--just for novelty's sake.

I've never used sunless tanners. I don't really care about getting tan anymore. Another sign of age? I did get a nice tan on my vacation, but now it's fading.

I watched the Kenneth Branagh version of As You Like It on HBO last night. Was not terribly impressed. I don't really see why he decided to make the setting Japan when the actors were not Japanese. It just seemed like an eccentricity. And Rosalind really didn't even look like a boy, so Orlando would have to be near blind for not noticing that Ganymede was really his beloved Rosalind. The only good thing was Albert Molina as Touchstone.

I actually am looking forward to the warm weather they are predicting for the weekend. This is too fall-like--once again in the 60s.

I see that I have composed a cranky post. Sorry ladies. I will try to be more cheerful tomorrow.

Happy Wednesday, All,

garance, you go right ahead and be cranky - I think that's one of the good things about these forums - we can say things we wouldn't, couldn't, or shouldn't say to family, friends and co-workers. Besides, if you're not cranky, I may start to feel bad about what I'm going to say about Slow and Heavy:

I think after doing SH Chest and Back yesterday, I'm going to retire my SH tapes. I have them on VHS, so I don't have a no-music option. What they're calling music on these tapes irritates the heck out of me. When you're struggling with Slow/Heavy, which is hard and boring to begin with, it seems the least SNM could do is have some background music that would make the time seem to go faster instead of drag.

Okay, rant over . . .

I went to the dentist this morning, for Part 1 of a new crown. Along with the general fun factor, a piece of equipment broke while I was being worked on, and I got completely soaked on the right side of my body with cold water from my shoulder to my knee. My pants were still wet when I got to work.

I felt okay for a while, but now the numbness has worn off, and I'm popping the Advil. I still plan to work out, but am going to take it easy tonight with Leslie Sansone's Walk & Kick, then a quick Tammilee stretch segment.

Have a wonderful day,
Jen

Hi Ladies:
Deb:You are my hero! That is woderful volunteering for Ronald McDonald House. You should be so proud! On the food log~since I'll be at the lake sunday-is it alright to start writing food monday? Hey,believe me I don't eat clean either but having to write it down will make me more aware. That will be great if you can give me promo codes. I need to buy some blank cd,hopefully tomorrow. I have used quite a few sunless tanners,I either stink or it rubs off onto my clothes or sheets.x(
Josie: Welcome back and Happy belated Birthday.Did you win anything at the caino? Sounds like you had a great time with your grandson.I will have to check out those towels.
Garance: I wish I didn't need to wear sunless tanners. But I personally feel my fat looks better tanned than white;-). I hear ya about the cool weather, its suppose to be in the high 80s this weekend.Yippee!
Jen: Thanks for reminding me about the music in S+H, that was something that bugged me too. I hope your tooth feels better soon.~Linny~
