Good morning!

Wow it is hot and humid here.. we need some relief and RAIN! My poor flowers are drooping over. I water twice a day. Did 25 min I-Tread and SH Triceps today.

Linny: Doing all of LIC and biceps would be plenty long for me! What is your time goal?

Rhonda: I can now understand how you can knit all year. If I had AC I would be quilting! There is no way I can sit in my sewing room in this heat!

Jen: what type of back surgery did you have? I also had surgery ( L5S1 Microdiskectomy)..

Garance: is the Kathy Smith walk workout a DVD? is it for the treadmill or similar to Leslie Sansone? Thanks for listing what you eat on SB.. new ideas for meals are always welcome!

Cathy: Pilates is good for a day when you don;t want to strain anything..which ones do you do?

Well I think I am going outside to have my coffee and look at my garden. This is how I relax before going to work.

Have a great day!

Deb:)

Good Morning Deb and those to follow:
Deb: I actually only do premix of LIC, I only have 1hr and 15 min to work out in morning. So Ilike to do 45-50 cardio and 15 for weights. My allergist appt has been moved to tomorrow. Thank God they had a cancellation.
I also had a job interview today with Visiting Nurses doing homecare. I'll be shadowing a preceptor to see if this is what I really want to do.
It is also muggy here, an occasional small thunderstorm hits now and then. The humidity sure doesn't help when you're getting a hot flash.:p
Rhonda: Good luck with that sweater you're knitting. The picture looks beautiful. I wish I had the patience for knitting.
Garance: I have to pull out my SB book and look at it again. I have this bad habit of buying books and think that I'll just lose without opening it. If that could be that easy ;)
A nurse at yesterday told me she has been doing the Blood type diet and has lost 20pds so far. Hmmmmm!
Have a great day ladies~Linny~

Greetings all:

Sitting here working on curriculum...how unusual lately. Today's focus is student behavioral contracts and social stories. Tomorrow, who knows.

Going to go to the basement and do the Legs and Glutes Extreme premix.

Weight Watchers! Weight Watchers! Weight Watchers! I cannot say enough good things. I have done behavior modification on myself and have relearned how to pick the right foods.

Rhonda

Happy Wednesday, All,

Cathy, I've been in the Houston area since age 10. I was born in Alabama, lived in Fort Worth from ages 2-7, back to Alabama from ages 7-10, then to Dickinson (halfway between Houston and Galveston). After college in Austin, DH and I moved to Houston and have been here ever since. My childhood was so nomadic because my father worked at Redstone Arsenal (the precursor to NASA), then we moved here in 1962, when Johnson Space Center was built.

Deb, you obviously know much more about what kind of back surgery you had than I do. I can't remember the name, but it was for a ruptured disc. I believe the ruptured disc contents were removed, and there was a partial fusion. It's been 7 years now, but I've had no problems whatever since the surgery.

There was a grandchild sighting last night, but I had finished Cardio Collectibles and had just started Tamilee's Stretch. I turned it off, put the baby in the stroller, and went for a walk with him and my daughter-in-law.

Tonight will be Firm Cardio Fat Blaster. I don't remember if there's a good stretch at the end of it. If not, I'll try Tamilee again.

Have a wonderful day,
Jen
