I hope everyone is having a good weekend. I just finished disc 27 in meso 3. I'm counting this as Sunday's wo. Maybe I'll get inspired to keep it up this week.

I really think I need the schedule of STS and the mindless doing the next dvd. I wouldn't even want the 6 month rotation. You would think any of the other rotations could be scheduled but it doesn't seem the same to me. :confused:

Morning ladies!

I got a copy of the Rev Abs sample DVD. I did that this morning. I liked it. It's one of the BeachBody series being released sometime this month.

Magnolia - Charlene posted on her Facebook that BB is releasing CLX+ soon here's the scoop
The new CLX workouts are 4 workouts on 2 dvd's, and the package will come with a stability ball:

Lower Body Extreme - is a 30 minute lower body circuit workout. Think squats, lunges, screamers, blasters, travelling lunges, etc.
Dynamic Yoga Flow - a combo of yoga, sports stretching, pilates, martial arts and movement. Uses the weighted gloves.
Interval Cardio - the best drills from CLX with added weight training on the ball.
Ab/Core workout (don't recall the name) - uses the weighted gloves and the stability ball.
Joan YES, the massage helped. It didn't hurt(well, maybe a little). I go back on Tuesday for more. The massage therapist was very good about explaining everything and why. As soon as I sat up I could feel the difference in my stomach.

I know what you mean Joan. I decided to take a month off and now it has been a week and I can not stand myself for the lack of schedule.:eek: I do think that my muscles need a break however. Maybe I can put together another rotation that is more cardio based, but that STS was my godsend!!!:p

Jann, are you ordering the CLX? You must have more tapes than I do!! I am thinking about jumping into the cardio challenge, but it is already September and no word yet!! I am still doing the pilates and that still seems to be working, but I do like a good sweat. I just wish I ran better and enjoyed it!!

Just downloaded the Spetember rotation into my calender. It looks like a nice break, but still has the structure:rolleyes::rolleyes:

howdy all, well i started my week today w/ disc32, plyo legs. this week is gonna be really hard. wk. 3 meso 3. 90% of 1rm. i am already scared. the weights look pretty daunting to me. hope i can do it. i really want to lose a few lbs. after STS. can't seem to keep my cardio up enough while i'm doin it. so, gonna try and find a rotaiton that will help me get some of this around my middle off. been looking thru cathe's. any suggestions? well, we are watching an old movie on TCM, so gonna go for now.

Does anyone remember how long it takes to film then produce dvds. I thought I read it before STS came out.

It says on sts cardio sale page it would be available late Sept. That doesn't seem possible.

Well, I managed to catch a head cold. So I am going to lay low a few more days. :( No workouts for me.
 
i feel horrible. i am sick to my stomach. which seems to be more often than not nowadays. but i am on to disc 31. wow, dont' know if i can do these wts. we'll see. i am really burned out right now. i will be glad to finish. i have lost my focus. i still haven't updated my ticker. been soooo busy.

jann, i tried to do the avatar pic,but couldn't get it to work, so i'm gonna see if my son will do it.

joan, what do you mean about the STS schedule and the mindless thing? you mean, you need the discipline of having the rotation made out for you? and, now that i am on the 2nd time thru, i couldn't imagine doin the 6m. either. i am having a really hard time finishing this week and next.
well, better get going before i decide to take a nap rather than workout. LOL!

woo hoo!!! disc 31 done. here are my weights:

flat bench 54 (56)
bb row 63 (66)
flat flys 25
1 arm row 35
incline bench pr. 52
deads 63 (66)
incline flys 23
horiz. row 30

however, i'm a bit dissappointed cuz i went down in the bench press bb row, deads. not sure why, but that is what was on my workout manager. should have looked at the printout of the first time and gone w/those wts. the numbers in the parenthesis' are my first time around. but, i can feel it, so it was a good workout.
 
Hi, Y'all!

Just got back from our trip today. It was great. We cruised up to Canada, St. Johns in New Brunswick. Weather was beautiful and mild. I went to the gym aboard the ship on Sat. and walked 3 miles. Sunday we were on a shore excursion and walked all over the town there (probably more than 3 miles), and yesterday, we did the "walk marathon" on the deck (3 laps = 1.1 miles). I am worn out today, but not from the walking. Didn't do too badly with food either, considering. I'm taking a jet lag day tomorrow & do some cardio on Thurs., I think. I am starting STS Monday, and I'm following the suggested rotation for it, I just have to come up with cardio workouts for the days in between.

Jann, boo on the head cold:(. Hope you'll be feeling better soon. Which Beachbody instructor is on Rev Abs? Are you going to get CLX +?

Joan, sometimes I need rotations that are thought out for me. Anyway, I learned that I really have to plan out my own rotations in advance, unless I am doing something like CLX or STS. I put them in my appointment book, that way I know.

Beth, they had a pilates class on the ship, but I you had to buy some sort of workout package, and I thought we were spending enough, so treadmill was free. Thought about you when I heard that, though.

Cathy, if you feel that bad, maybe you should talk to your doctor about it.

Cathy and Magnolia, I put rotation in wo manager and even print it out. But I don't necessarily look at it. I may not have gotten all cardio in and practically no abs with sts but I always knew what disc to do next.

Cathy I really am impressed with the weight you used.

Jann Sorry about the cold. I hope it's only a cold and not the flu.

Dil will be 3 months pregnant this Friday. She had ultrasound and they did hear the heartbeat today. I think that should make them less worried.

I did a walk tape today.

Today was Lowmax. I have been counting calories eaten and used since Sunday. I hope I can keep it up.

Magnolia If you are going to start sts Sept 14th, I will too. I need something to keep me working out.

Magnolia Rev Abs is with Brett Hoebel. The disc I have is phase 1. There's a lot of reviews out there most of them bad. I liked it. I'll be checking it out more when it's released. I don't know about CLX+ either right now... decisions, decisions. :confused: Your cruise sounded wonderful. Did you get to go site seeing? Good job on staying on track!! :D

Joan So glad that tower is finally being shipped. :) Congrats on your Grandbaby! Is this DIL Elliot's Mom? How is your Mother? I hope the family is treating you OK. It's hard being the caregiver - I've been there.

I am feeling a bit better today. I am going to get on the treadmill for a while. It's just a cold...thank goodness. :)

Jann, we had only one port of call, St. John's in New Brunswick, Canada. It isn't a huge city, but it is beautiful. The people were very nice, and the weather was perfect. We had a great time there. :D

I gave my email address so they would let me know when Rev Abs is available. I'm thinking about that one.

I'm going to start taking my 1rm's today, and printing out workout cards. I plan to do cardio for the rest of this week and start STS on Monday. I really needed my jet lag day yesterday--I was exhausted! :eek:

Magnolia - fyi -- I printed all my workout cards for the month, I found that to be a mistake. After the first week if you have any changes to your 1RMS you might want to make them before printing the cards for the next week. It made the weight adjusting minimal.

We went on a cruise some years back. I got so sea sick -- I loved getting off the boat. :D We won the trip.. part of the package was free drinks, that's the only thing that saved me on the boat. :eek: It seem to help. :p

Rev Abs is another 90 day program... I can't image 90 days of abs...:confused: The sample I have is Phase 1 its called Fire up your Abs... it's 3 circuits and its really easy. From some of the clips it looks a lot harder!

Jann, so sorry you got sea sick that time. What a dreadful way to spend a vacation!

CLX gets really harder after Push Phase. That Lean Phase is a killer!:eek:

Praise the LORD!!!! RAIN! finally. we got a bunch today. the creek is runnin' like crazy. what a beautiful site. only 73 today. a blessed relief, for sure!!!!

can't remember when i checked in last. grandkids were here yesterday. we rode for awhile, played in the rain. kids rode bikes thru the puddles. so fun. they are so adorable!

tues--did ch & back disc 31 (think i posted that)
wed--no workout
today- did plyo legs (disc 32) for the 2nd time this week. tomorrow or sat. is disc 33. then next week is the end.

magnolia- i have been to the dr. he did a gall bladder sonogram and put me on prilosec. guess i need to go see him again.

ya'll have a beautiful weekend if i don't get back here for a bit.

Hi ladies,

Mother is doing ok. Another doctor's visit today. I don't know why but they seem to expect us to have lots of questions and be quite upset. We've done our research and expect the outcomes to be good. I guess both my mother and I don't worry about things unnecessarily.

Dil is mother of Elliot. Other ds lives in Portland OR and is photographer/photographer's assistant. He is in NY this week on a photo shoot and will be in Nashville the end of this month. The big jobs he is the assistant.

No wo yet but may still do something.

Tomorrow is house cleaning at dil house and 2 hours at hospital to see if mother can have operation.

Joan, I think lots of times doctors encounter people who aren't very well informed, since many people don't do their research. I'm with you, I always want to find out everything I can in those situations. You and your mother are in my prayers.

Well, there is more housework to do today (I'm cleaning out drawers, etc.), plus needing to get in the 1rm's for Disc 1 that I didn't have time to do yesterday! :confused:
