50 and over week of Sept 19 check in

hey ya'll, seem to have missed last week somehow. but, iim here, just busy all the time. i cna't even remember if i posted last week. so, hopefully, i'llbe around more this week.
raining here. yay! we'll take all the rain we can get while it is available.
 
Hi, Y'All.

Well, I have a sore lower back today :eek:, so not sure what this week will be like. I am thinking I will call my chiropractor. I just hate to think of not being able to work out for a couple of weeks more, and not being able to get done the things I need to do here. It's pretty upsetting to me considering all I need to do. If I start concentrating on getting my back well today, though, I'll only get to the other stuff sooner.

Hi, Y'All.

I decided to just go ahead and go to the chiropractor today, before my back got worse, and because I figured that if I were going to have to go through a couple of weeks of therapy and not working out, I might as well just get it over with. The good news is that this time, I caught the problem early, and I have to take it easy until Wednesday, then go back & he thinks I will be able to workout later in the week. I'm relieved!

WHOA JANN! that is what i did. i love alison & all her w/outs. she puts alot of standing core in them, and i like to stand up. hate floor work. this is a tuff workout. do you think so? it is hard for me.
yesterday was BBBB, did a couple segment 2x, so actually about 65 min.

Well, my back is better, but not quite there yet. It will probably take another adjustment to get it back into workout shape, so I have to keep icing, taking Advil, and doing nothing (makes me crazy!!:mad:) and go back Monday. Not being able to work out is not the only bummer here. There are a lot of things I need to get done before the winter weather sets in. Anyway, I am being very good, I want this episode with my back to be over!

oops, forgot to add that i also added a short (8 m. ) sculpting stick routine, cuz tomrrow is gonna be a short workout. tomorrow am is Bible study, tomorrow nite is the rodeo at our county fair, and friday is the parade and fairgrounds.. so, gonna be busy. see ya'll in a couple days.

My back is some better, but I'm still following instructions, so no workout today. Also no vacuuming, lifting anything, etc. It'll be worth it. But I keep looking at the dining room walls and know they need painting, not to mention my front porch rocking chairs that need cleaning and a coat of weatherproofing. Well, we'll still have nice weather whenever I am finished with this back stuff, I hope. If I'm very good, that is.

Hi all!

Magnolia I hate looking at things that need to be done and can't do them. :( I read it's suppose to stay nice until after Halloween this year. We have time. :)

Our local fair is this week also. Kyle and I are going tomorrow.

I got stung this morning trying to kill a nest of bees. :mad: Now, my head sorta feels weird and my arm hurts where I was stung. I am going to do a workout today and finish some yard work -- bees are not going to stop me. :mad:

Well, getting tired of being a semi-couch potato! I can't just sit here, and there are a few things I can do. I'm just tired of this already. I'll bet I start my workouts this time with back/core work! This is for the birds!
