I was just thinking yesterday that I never use some of the things I bought-for example- the weighted vest I find very cumbersome- I have only used it a few times

The hand weights are good, but the pace weights are better (In my opinion) althought- if you do kick boxing and some ab work you use them also

You definately need the step and extra risers for the bench- but sometimes I use my ball like a bench

You do not need to worry about the tower until your third month.

Just my thoughts, other people may tell you different-- by the way- you can now download some of the workouts to try them:):) Is that exciting or what???
 
Deb if you are thinking about buying Cathe's weighted gloves and vest I would wait. She is coming out with (in a month or so) a better set. The gloves will be adjustable two pounds and the vest will the 20 pound adjustable. Currently the ones she has are one pound gloves and 10 pound nonadjustable vest.

The incline exercises are a personal call. You can get the incline risers for the club step or use a bench for everything. Like Beth mentioned you won't need a rack until Meso 3. It is handy though in Meso 2.

You can purchase Cathe's fitness gear at some retail stores. It seems to vary around the country.

I am not real excited about the downloads yet... I am waiting on the workout blender then I'll get excited. Mix and match all I want. :D I can play Cathe's workouts from the PC to TV or just on my PC if I need to already because I have a video card in my laptop. Of course mostly I just play through my DVD player. :p
 
i am w/the grandkids today, no workout, just play!
yesterday i did tracie's Better Buns, Better Burn. that is a really fun workout.

FINALLY, it is cool here. 60 today and rain again. YAY!!!!

Hi everyone - today was disc 5 day. I seemed to be stronger in my triceps today, yay!
Hope everyone has a great weekend. It's Thanksgiving here in Canada on Monday. Lots to be thankful for, it's been a good year.

Hi Ladies

I worked twelve hours today and I am a little bit tired. After some serious thought I have decided to wait on the STS workouts. It isn't in my budget. I am going to start doing more of Cathes weight workouts that I already have and they are great workouts and add in my love for kettlebells and many other workouts. I might get them someday but I got great results before doing weight workouts at least 4 days a week. I remember the awsome results I got with pyramids and gym styles, kickboxing and I am ready for my own challenge. Now I can save and get the ipod I want. I am seriously trying to get my home paid off and once it is I can put in new windows and siding with another loan of course. It is just one thing at a time.

If I feel I need STS within a year I may order it if I am not happy with the results I am getting.

Have a great weekend. I will need to go to work for a few hours after my sister and I go to our WW meeting and then will go to a birthday party for my niece. She is having a tinkerbell party. She will be three tomorrow. She just loves her Aunt Debbie and the feeling is mutal.:)

Good morning all, I guess I better get busy. I am on my way out to go to my WW meeting and then heading right to work. I wil have some fun this afternoon going to a birthday Party.

Today is a kettlebell workout and pilates. I will check back in later tonight to see what everyone is up to for the weekend.

I have to share a triceps story. I was talking with a a friend about working out at home. This and that. She asked if I worked my triceps I turn my arm and flexed she "YES, you sure do!" I love it!

I think I figured out why wo cards weren't printing. I had not updated to Internet Explorer 8. I hope weight loss ticker appears.

I hope I don't get talked into a weight loss scheme. It promises you will lose 4-7lbs per week. Results typical. No pills, no calorie counting, no starvation diets, no exercise. I know it's too good to be true BUT it sure would be nice.

This was my rest week since I haven't done much but I will get caught up before we start meso2.

Deb you should at least do your 1rm. I think it would help you for any of the dvd's. You could also do sts without the dvd's-just print out the sts wo cards. I only used dumbbells. I didn't use my weighted vest. I decided until I lose all my weight I already have a built in extra 20lbs(actually more than that:p) I didn't do any pullups the first time through and didn't get tower until this time. My grandaughter, Elliot is going to be 3 Jan 5th. I babysit her April 15-Dec 15. each year. I love that age.

today i did High Step Circuit. just got it in the mail. i like it , but it is definitely one of the easier ones. next time i will use heavier wts. and the 8" step.

did not workout fri. or sat. had the grandkids.
well, still raining here. and very cool!!! feels good.
