I can't believe I didn't remember it was Sunday. This week has been all messed up.

I also forgot that garbage is delayed one day for a holiday week. Our day is Thursday and then he would pick up on Friday. We usually put it out the night before. Of course we didn't and the garbage cans are on the side of the house quite a distance from the end of the driveway. Our garbageman went to the side of the house and got them. We couldn't believe they were gone but very happy they were. I'm glad I'm nice to him.

I weighed the same today as last Sunday.

I agree Joan, this is a weird mixed up week! If you got through Thaksgiving without adding weight- you are ahead!

This am I did lower body blast! I loved it! I think I am seeing a pattern here- I like the mmore straight forward workouts without too much choreography- My legs are burning! Then after church, I went to a local pilates studio for an intermediate reformer class- it was fun! but, the lower body blast was definately the workout of the day!
 
arghhhhh!! I wished I weighed the same as last Monday!! :mad: Back on track today!

I did high reps yesterday. This workout is OK -- it's not going to be one of my favorites. I am a heavy, slower lifter. :p I have not put together a plan yet for December. I am hoping Cathe's rotation is something good.
Plan to start cleaning for decorating today. I always put all my everyday pictures, knickknacks, rugs, into boxes and store, even put all my plants upstairs. Then clean like crazy and then put out my decorations. I love transforming the house for Christmas.

Congratulations, Joan! If you can maintain and not gain at this season of the year, you're doing GREAT!! ;) As for me, I refuse to weigh until I can start doing more than gentle stretching. I do as much as I am allowed, which is not very much. Sitting here all day would make me totally crazy.

I go back to the chiropractor one week from today, hoping that he will tell me it's okay to ease back into my normal life. I had a very good report last week when I was there, and I am having almost no pain now.

Beth, I understand what you are saying about choreography. It can be frustrating at times.

Jann, just hang in there. Don't let yourself get discouraged.

Hi, Y'All.

Well, today is DH's birthday, so I did a horrible thing and baked him a double chocolate cake. We are going out to dinner at a nice restaurant, then there will be present opening with coffee and some of the cake when we get home from there. I have been really busy getting all this together today, so I have been moving around a lot. I might suggest that we take most of the leftover cake to choir rehearsal on Thursday evening. Our choir friends will be happy to help finish it off, I am sure.

I am almost pain free at this point in my treatment. I only have an occasional twinge, and the stretching, Advil and icing pretty well takes care of that. I hope that I will get permission to start working out next week. This has all been driving me crazy!!

Magnolia- Happy Birthday to DH! Your such a bad wife baking that cake!!! Have a great evening out and I am so glad you are feeling better!

Jann -I commend you on yuour organized approach to decorating- I am more of a hit or miss decorator- I did make a really interesting wreath this year over my fireplace using red holly and starfish ( I do live in Fla)

I did a spinning class today and half of the intensity wo. I am starting to like the step now,, I guess I just had to embed it into my brain..

My problem with STS is I haven't been getting in 3 days a week usually only two. But I hate to give it up. I like the slow and heavy. I wonder if I did sts total body one day and then tried to get in the other 3 days after a rest day. I don't think total body twice a week is enough. Maybe Cathe's Dec rotation will use new wo. I know it sounds crazy to say I can't get in 3 days and now I want 4. I eventually get them in it's just usually a week and a half to get in the 3 days. If I did phase 4, rest day then three days in a row, then rest. Even with the extra rest days I would put in I might get all the body twice in a week and a half. I am still getting in 3 miles a day and don't really care if I add much more cardio until I lose some more weight. What do you think?

Magnolia -- Say Happy birthday to your DH! OOHh double choc cake sounds yummy!! I would get that out of the house too! :p You, know I don't remember how you hurt your back. I am so glad to hear you are feeling better! :)

Beth -- I am almost to the point with my decorating that I should be committed. :eek::eek::eek: Yesterday when I took out the window garland, the bows have faded so much I have to replace them. EVERYTHING comes to a halt!! :confused::eek::confused: I have to put the window garland out first before I put the wreaths up. Now, in my own mind I have a very good reason, when I told dh about it he shakes his head, now what's wrong with him?!? :D:D:D So I had to run out and buy new bows for the window garland. Made perfect since to me. :p:p:p
Starfiish -- well when in Florida!! :D Sounds fun!

Joan I just printed Cathe's Dec rotation. It looks like she has put two total body days in it. STS TB is on Monday of week 1, you could sub STS TB for the Sat HIgh Reps. Week 2 already has STS TB twice.
It looks like she has 2 days total body, 1 day kickboxing, 1 day Lower body, 2 days cardio to every week.
GREAT job on keeping up with that 3 miles!!

I did an Intensity premix yesterday Step only. About 30 minutes and burn almost 200 calories... like that!!
Today I have acupuncture and more decorating to do. I also have to go shopping for Hanukkah dinner. My DH and DIL are both Jewish so we do both. I am having beef brisket with vegetables, Challah bread, and for desert black and white cookies. That way it's one cookie per person... works!
