50 and over week of May 30 check in

Good afternoon,

Yesterday I did cardio-Low impact step. Today will be disc 18 back and biceps.

I have been very happy with my eating this week. I have been eating between 1100-1200 calories for 3 days and on the 4th day going to a maintenance level of calories of 1600-1800. Tomorrow is the 2nd "4th day" so we will see if I can increase calories twice a week or only once. Or increase twice a week with less calories.

Way to go Joan!!!! Is your weight counter up to date? I cannot remember how I put mine up there in the first place so mine is not.

Today, DH and I did a 5 mile walk along the beach. Then, I passed out on the couch!!:D What a great Sunday!
 
I had a great Sunday too! We went to the Ladew Topiary Gardens. It's 22 acres of wonderful. I was so excited. We walked for a couple of hours. Very nice day! :D
Today kids are coming over for a cookout. Have a great day ladies!
 
Good evening,

Just finished treadmill. Yesterday I did do disc 18-two weeks of meso 2 done. Yea.

Since May 1 I have lost 5lbs. I only put 2lb on the ticker because I would have had to raise the start weight. I didn't want to add the vacation weight and then take it off. I have gotten a solid 2lb off now at 171. It had been wavering. I believe it is now gone for good.

Today was supposed to be a higher calorie day but I only went to 1336 calories.

I have not been able to use more than 1840 calories in a day. I usually get to 2000 only when I clean the house. It's already clean.:D

hey all! had a busy weekend w/grandkids and work at the clinic. did not work out sat,sun,mon, but had the kids and was outside.

today was super cardio, one of the old firms. anyone who has done it knows what i mean when i say, glad it is done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

getting the kids again today so will not be back for a few days. ya'll have a good week.

It doesn't seem like I have as much time to post when I am doing wo and logging all food. Today was treadmill again.

This is 9th day in a row that I wore GWF and logged in food. Usually it is one or the other. Since for me it really is calories used minus calories eaten to lose a pound, you would have thought I would have done this sooner.

I averaged 1800 calories used last week. I would like to up that at least a little this week.

Beth I'm doing disc 19 tonight. I'm glad I started with meso 2. I just didn't like meso 1 as well and it was keeping me from starting anything. Such a simple solution-skip it.

I'm really enjoying rereading BFFM. The pictures I took for contest were very surprising because I hadn't realized I had gotten that fat. Even waist size wasn't a good measure because I had changed from a pear to an apple. A fitness writer I used to read alot once said that of course the apple shape is more dangerous healthwise than a pear. They are fatter.

I am going to try to go more by bodyfat % than scale weight. Of course to begin with I have a lot of fat to lose so scale is relevant. I will only go into muscle building mode after losing all the fat possible.

Wish me luck I am only 9 days in on the 130 days until babysitting.

well, i did w/out tues & wed. and now i am gettin sick. ugh! my g/kids were sick this weekend when they stayed and i'm gettin' a sore throat and feel icky. so, no w/out today, gonna rest, i guess. went to the dr. and got an antibiotic, said my throat looked infected. and did talk to him about the headaches, so we are gonna see what we need to do.

we got a wonderful big storm last nite w/lots of rain. need all the rain we can get before summer sets in full blast.

i got the focus workouts and did the Hiit one today, i love it! wanna do the stretch,yoga one tomorrow. i just love tracie, so i love most of her workouts.
