Good afternoon ladies,

I didn't even realize what day it was. How can a week be gone already.

I think I will just catch up with abs and walk on treadmill today.

Hi ladies!

I am giving my self a rest today. I thought about doing travel fit but gave up and went to the mall and walked. To darn cold to walk outside.

I just went back and read last weeks thread.

WOOHOO Deb on the weight loss. You are doing the Flat Belly diet, right? Why is it hard to follow?

Magnolia... what ever it takes! {{{{Magnolia}}} -- that's hugs! :)

Cathy I hope your headache is better!

Joan The only way I could do Step Moves is to really listen to what Cathe was saying. I agree if you could not concentrate -- give it another try later. She really spits outs those ques. I don't know how she keeps going and going with them. :D Your birthday is the 31st, right?

Hey Girls! Today was supposed to be a rest day, but.....I find if I totally rest I get lazy. So, I did 20 min. Turbo Jam, Core Solutions, and express Yoga. Felt good!

Hey Jann! The diet was hard to follow because my boys won't eat the food, or mainly my husband, Josh will eat ANYTHING if he is hungry, and what 17 almost 18 (Jan. 27th) boy won't. But, I had to almost cook two different meals. That bugs me, because I really hate to cook. I did a lot of swapping for this week and came up with things I believe everyone will eat and I can still stay on this diet.

Magnolia.....I am so sorry to hear about your DIL, my prayers and thoughts are with your family.

Hello to everyone.....must go!
Deb

Hi everyone,

Deb Good job on weight loss. I couldn't even start to lose until both boys had left home. It is still 1/2lb per week for me.

This will probably end up a rest day. I don't feel like doing anything.

Magnolia I did some research on pancreatic cancer and there is both positive and negative info out there. I think you are right to ignore it until you know more. Or don't read it at all. But please remember there is positive successes out there. We are all here for you if you need a shoulder to lean on. The stress is going to get to you. I know even though my mother's journey was relatively easy, you worry. I hope you can continue to exercise and eat healthy ( including comfort food). Please take care of yourself , you will need your strength.

Tomorrow I start regular office hours. I have all 400 tax questionaires to mail Monday.

Joan

Hey Deb -- yeah cooking two meals would not work for me either. Your little boy is turning 18 :D Wow it seems like yesterday he was only 13 -- That's when I met you, right about 5 years ago. OMGosh! Congrats on making it through those years -- 13-18 boys years were the worst for my boys. Not that my boys were bad kids, just very trying. :)

Hi everyone,

I did Disc 4 this morning. It seemed I did a lot of scrambling this morning....felt a little disorganized. Again I felt like I need to go up on the weights and made the updates in the Workout manager...so hopefully next week I will feel more challenged.

Hi, Y'All.

Joan, thanks for the kind words. I told my son we will take it one step at a time, and I think that's the only way to face this. Her mother has been looking into top facilities for treating this disease. They will talk to the oncologist today, and we will know more. I do thank all of your for your prayers. I fear she may need all of them she can get.

I did Disc 4 this morning. I always forget how much I hate push-ups, but I always seem to "hunker down" and do them (although modified to the max). Working out is one of my strategies for coping. Not only for the endorphins, but also because I sleep like a dead bug when I am working out.

I hope all of you have a great day.

Magnolia

OK - Disc 4 done! My shoulders are toast. I refused to take my workout cloths off today until I got this workout done! :D Push-ups, gesh.

Jann HELP

or any other computer literate person.

They answered the question on how to print the calendar but of course I don't understand. They said to select Alt & print screen. Then paste into "paint" which is a free program in windows. I do alt & print screen but I don't know where to look for it to paste or where paint is.

I've been watching Mighty Mouse cartoons (( long story)) So the song came to mind "Here I come to save the day..." :D

Goto Start from your tool bar on your PC
Select All programs
Select Accessories
Select Paint

I can alt/printscrn into paint then crop and cut and paste into word - or what every application you like.

You had me laughing on Mighty Mouse. I got as far as printing it on 3 pages. I don't know how to crop.

The little square box on the top left of the page will let you crop, select it, just draw around the area you want, then you can do a cut from edit pull down, cut and open a a word doc and paste into it.

Hi Ladies! Disc 4 for me also......PUSH UPS EEEEWWWWEEEEE! That woman sure does love em. "I" DON'T!!!!

Yes Jann, Josh will be 18 the 27th of this month. I had no idea it had been 5 years! WOW!
I didn't realize how the time had flown by.......he has applied and accepted to Kennesaw University, which he could live at home.....or he has also applied to University of Georgia, which is about 2.5 hours away and we haven't heard yet. I really think he is leaning toward Kennesaw so he can live at home. His cousin goes to GA and he was able to see the dorms last spring and he wasn't impressed. He has lots of space upstairs in our house. Also, he tried out for the performing demo team at Karate and made it, it is a 1 year of committment, I did the math on that one and figure he is going to Kennesaw his first year. He could transfer to Ga his second year, which would be fine. He plans on being a vet, although not a cat and dog vet, but "big" animals.
Scares the heck out of me, Steve Irwin was his "IDOL". You get the picture.

Magnolia.....my prayers are with you. My daughter had an awesome oncologist that her gynecologist recommended and did her surgery to find out she did not have cancer, about 3 years ago. He practices at Northside. Let me know if you need his name. I'll find out for you. Just a suggestion. Take care.

Hey to everyone! Have to fix dinner.

Deb

i have done NOTHIN' today. think i worked out too hard last week. so, anyway, went to church and rode horses yesterday. and was exhausted and achy today, so took it off, and hope to do better tomorrow.

Hi Everyone!

It is late but I got it done.

First, Hiit before breakfast (ughhh)
Then oatmeal and egg whites
Work
salad
a pasta dish
Then Disc 4 (too many Push ups.. aaagh)
PUSH UPS EEEEWWWWEEEEE! That woman sure does love em. "I" DON'T!!!!
Then 2 miles on treadmill and some stretches

Thed only thing I regret is the pasta dish but my son made me dinner so what could I say? I am going back now to catch up reading-- can't wait for tomorrow!!!

Hi ladies,

I think we now have complete agreement that we all hate pushups.

I just finished disc 4. I had to reduce some of the weights- not less than I started with last time but less than I had worked up to. If I'm already sore, what will tomorrow be like?

Beth I could learn to hate you- Hiit, disc 4 and 2 miles!!!(just kidding) Could you send me some of your energy.

It's amazing how many fewer calories I use in a day now that I'm back at a desk. Exercise seems less important for calorie burn than daily activity.

Four days in a row with good eating. I wonder how long I can keep it up?

Jann I got it printed but couldn't get the whole calendar. I think it will be easier to use my own calendar and write it in.

Elliot, ds and dil came over tonight. I think she looks different and it's only been 2 weeks since I saw her.
