I'm starting this early so I won't forget.

Jann your decorating sounds like mine. I finished cleaning and decorating today. I did omit some decorations because of the age of my grandchildren. Luke is almost crawling. I let Elliot help decorate the tree. She only broke three of them.

My annual Christmas party is Dec 18 and I have no idea what to serve. It's pretty much the same people usually but this year I should have 34 instead of 24 people. The regulars are used to new and different every year and I am out of ideas for easy make ahead food.

My dil just called to see if we had any extra Christmas decorations. They usually get a 5 or 6 ft tree. The one this year is 10ft. It must be catching.

The diet and walking must be working. I am down to 164lb. That is 1.4lb down from last Sunday.

Hi, Y'All!

Joan, congratulations on the weight loss! Hopefully, I will be walking this week.

I see my chiropractor tomorrow. The pain is gone, except for an occasional short twinge. I am pretty sure that he is going to let me get back to my life now. This last week has been especially tough, because I have gotten "antsy."

We have some, but not all, of our decorations up now. The tree is done, dh did the outside lights, now we have to get the rest of the decorations up and take the boxes back to storage.

Have a great day, everyone!

i'm here, i'm here!!!! took wed. - today off and had g/kids til thursday. then stuff on friday. was worn out yesterday. baked Christmas cookies before church this morning. gonna take some to the g/kids to decorate this week.

CAN YOU BELIEVE IT IS DECEMBER??????!!!!!!!!! how is it possible that every year goes faster? our pastor was talking about that some today. he was asking where will you be 15 yrs. from now? to kids 15 yrs. is forever, but the older you get, 15 yrs is awfully short. i hope i'm still around in 15 yrs, but if not i will be in heaven w/lots of other friends and family. that was pastor's point. if you are not here in 15 yrs. ( on earth), will you be in heaven with Jesus??? hope so. i know i willKiss and, no, not becuz i'm a "good person" or anything, but only becuz of what Jesus did on the cross for us! that is why i KNOW i will go, cuz He already did the work to get me there.

so, tomorrow i will start my w/outs again. hope i have more energy. i was exhausted yesterday. feel better today.
so, will see ya later.

Hi, Y'All!

YAY!! I can get back to normal gradually now!! :D Not tomorrow, though, because I have to go help dh with auctions, so there won't be time. The only thing is that I not do any stretching that would causes any hyperextension of my back, including conventional quad stretches. Otherwise, I need to stretch every day. Sounds good to me. I am thinking that I will start with some walking (indoor or outside) Wednesday. And of course stretching!

Have a great evening, everyone!

YAY!! Magnolia sounds great!

Joan a 10foot tree!:eek: sounds wonderful! Congrats on maintaining -- highfives!! :D

I am loosely following Cathe's rotation -- STS total body premix 1 set of each workouts ++ abs. It felt nice an dwent quick. :)

Magnolia I'm glad you're back to 100% or almost.

I'm still trying to get total body in today. Dh was home but I still spent most of my time babysitting. Not sure how much help he is.

I'd like to make cookies for Christmas but I'm not sure if I can stand the temptation.

Good morning, Y'All!

Started out this morning with Classical Stretch. Right now, I am icing just as a precautionary measure. It is a really pretty day out, and if it is not too cold, I plan a walk outdoors this afternoon. If it is, then I will do something indoors, probably a Leslie Sansone. I figure that if I start out with some gentle movement and build up, I should be fine.

BBL. Have a great morning.

I ended up with Total body single set premix. That was probably enough since I used close to the weights from wo card. I am sore but in a good way.

Good Morning, Y'All!

I realized that I am going to have a challenge getting back into working out, so for now, I am going to stick with the 30 minute stretching routines every morning and add stuff as I become stronger and more motivated (and we get past Christmas).

Got lots of catching up to do on housework, but I am pacing myself so as not to re-injure my back.

Have a great day, everyone!

Magnolia, I think you are smart to ease back into exercising. Hopefully you will have time before the first of the year. That's when we get serious anyway.:p

Dh told me he would go in to work late this morning because I had an 8 o'clock dentist appt. I woke up, took a shower and went upstairs to find my son waiting with grandson. I asked him where his dad was and he said he didn't know. I apologized for keeping him waiting. I called dh and he was at work. He had gotten to work before 7am and I called at 7:20. He wanted me to wake up my mother and leave Luke with her until he got there. As if. He must have flown home because his work is an hour away and he got home in 35 minutes. I've felt rushed all day and haven't accomplished a thing.

Joan

Joan, Husbands -- what are you going to do? I hope the dentist appointment went well!

Magnolia I agree with Joan :p January is when we get serious!! :D

Did you ever get a crazy song stuck in your head? My son's ring tone is "All I Want For Christmas Is A Hippopotamus" It is driving me a bit crazy!! :D:D

Some type of weight work for me today. I've been really off track all week.

Hi, Y'All!

Wow! It's snowing here!

I think that the stretching workouts are perfect for now. I can get strength in my joints and more flexibility before I come back to the workouts I normally do. Besides, I have to just get my body back into the idea of doing some movement.

This morning, Miranda (Classical Stretch maven) had a total body stretch workout. She does a lot of work for shoulders, and yesterday was a workout for "frozen shoulder," a condition I have had for a while. It was great, my shoulder felt super after the workout, and I think that one is definitely a keeper.

Have a great evening, everyone!

It snowed here yesterday also. AND it's still out there!!! COLD!

Stretching for me today. If I can kick myself in the butt to move at all!! I hate cold. :(

I hate cold worse. It was 56 degrees yesterday and will be 6 degrees tomorrow. It's raining now but will turn to snow tonight. Or at least I hope it does I hate ice too.
