Good Morning all:

Back to the I-Tread walk for 20 minutes plus S&H triceps. For some reason I was very tired today, could not finish the dips. Hopefully this is not my body telling me to switch it up.

Jen: I give you cudos for doing those TLT's.. I did not think I would like that type of workout, so I never purchased them. Digestion??LOL.. you will have to let us know what you do for this! I did go to the Vermont Country store site.. lots of choices. Let me know which one you have.. I think I really want to try ones without elastic in the leg openings, there are some good ones there.

Garance: sorry to hear about the shelvesx( and after all that work you did! I also tried to get DH to take Swing classes, and he would not even try! He hates dancing, and only does it at weddings etc when there is a slow dance.

Josie: our Gazelle is back! Thanks for the suggestion for C9.. I will check them out the next time I am at Target.

Have a great day!

Deb;-)

Hope everybody is doing well.

Going to the basement to do BC Premix of everything but core and ME abs.

Hanging shelves in the laundry room. House is still a disaster. Trying to work my way through. At least the washer and dryer are back in commission. What a shame not being able to do laundry for a week..... ;)

Today I will be puttering around the house. Doing cleaning and curriculum. Hopefully will begin sewing up some knitting projects. Got to get some things finished.

Weight Watchers is going well. I am almost there. Still between an 8 and 10. May decide to loose another 2 or 3 if it means I will fit comfortably into the 8. I feel so much better with the poundage down. The key is maintenance.

Deb: My bird is a blue and gold macaw. He is 17 years old and we have been living with him for 15 years. "You don't own a parrot, he owns you."

Regards to all,

Rhonda

Hi Deb and Rhonda--

I did PUB this morning while it was pouring rain outside. Very muggy, but only 69 degrees.

That's too bad about your husband and dancing, Deb. Mine is a doll about this, although we take the same course every year. I wish we could take more advanced lessons in the tango, which I really got into this last January, and my husband was not too bad at it. What he has real trouble with is the Lindy. I was thinking about your ballet question, and I do have some Kari Anderson tapes--one with a ballet company--that have some ballet-like moves.

I'm a knitter and sewer, Rhonda, but I would classify myself as an intermediate knitter, and an advanced sewer. I have two unfinished sweaters at the moment, but they are both wool, so I am not in a big hurry.

I am taking the "opportunity" (lucky me, heh, heh!) provided by crashing book shelves to rid myself of books I know I will never read again or books that are so old and dusty that if I do want to re-read, I will just get a new copy. The college is encouraging us to do this anyway, because next June we will all be moving to new offices, and they would like the movers to be able to do this quickly. I am being especially brutal about this, because I am not too far away from retirement, and I never, never, never expect to or want to read, for example, Jacques Derrida's Of Grammatology again or Karl Marx's 18th Brumaire. It just ain't happening. Sheesh--I cannot believe I read them the first time! As life gets shorter, my reading has to be less grueling.

Off to Saratoga to see the NYC Ballet tomorrow afternoon, so I may not check in here.

Have a great Wednesday, everyone!

Hi Ladies:
Back from the lake. I'm on vacation this week and the weather isn't cooperating, so here I am home. Had to come back to have blood drawn and see the MD. Got a rash all over thought its fron the meds I'm taking to control hives. MD says I now have ecezema on top of everthing else. Calgon take me away. MD gave me epipen to carry, he says "You can die if you go into the water" Good thing to hear when you're going to the lake for vaca.
Garance: I know about the muggy's, I'm sweating just sitting here. Yuck! I hope you have a GREAT time at the ballet.
Rhonda: Last time I knitted I was about 11 and my Grammy was trying to teach me. I think I'm all thumbs.
Deb: My husband and I took lessons in 2000 right before we married. I loved it, hoping to take it up again. Especially the swing(lots of fun.
Hi to the rest of you. Have a great day~Linny~

Happy Wednesday, All,

Yesterday, I did the step portion from Candace Copeland's Step & Low, then Digestive System from Classical Stretch - the TV show. This segment used to be called Constipation, which is how she referred to it on the DVD! It had lots of wonderful stretches, some unique, and, uh, I didn't have the problem anyway, but my son, DIL, and grandson were at the house last night, and I kept, ahem, making noises to the point they were all giggling at me. I finally said ``Please forgive my gaseous emission of methane substances!''

Deb, I checked the underwear without leg holes, and the tag said Vermont Country Store Brand - that's all. I question that, because I don't think they have their own factory, but that's all the tag said. At least I remembered correctly which catalog they came from.

Linny, your poor baby, I wish I could give you a great big hug! I'm extremely sensitive to medicines myself, and have a bit of a clue as to what you're going through. I would do almost anything to avoid taking antibiotics - they affect me the worst, though several others are problematical.

Tonight, I'm planning to do Amy Bento's Kickbox Xtreme - it's my first time, so I'm excited.

Have a wonderful day,
Jen
