Good Morning to all!

Today was I-Tread 40 minute walk/jog. Gearing up to change my rotation to Week 1 & 3 Pyramid workouts interspersed with cardio, and weeks 2& 4 same using ME.

Rhonda: I have a parrot that is about 27 years old! He is a green amazon with a yellow head.. very cranky! only lets me touch him. If anyone else gets near "watch out"! Even my DH who has lived with him for 24 years can't put his finger in the cage. I have also had a Mccaw, a smaller parrot, and a Cockatoo and always a dog or 2 LOL! Now it's just Fritz and the 2 dogs. I don't remember how many dips there are in ME, and I too have some trouble with them. Sometimes I do them and other times I sub something else. Let us know what you think of the Classical Stretch.. did you get Vol 2 Total Body?

Linny: I have been doing the premix on KPC called "Kicking & Punching"..this does't have all the jumping around! just the combos themselves. Keep us posted on the test results.. we are all there for you hoping that they will finally find the answer to this!

Josie: Cabo! I was there in February.. you will love it. What resort are you staying at? Please be careful running. Make sure you have someone with you. I know I sound paranoid but it is a foreign country and you don;t know sometimes what can happen. If you run on the resort you will be ok, but if you go off, I would not go alone. Cudos to your husband for dancing with you! It sounds like you had fun.

Jen: Thanks for the review... p.s what is TIFTing?

Have a great day all and a fun weekend!

:) Deb

Hi Deb and those to follow:
Deb: How long do parrots usually live? Wow! 27yrs,I don't think I've ever heard of one living that long. We don't have any pets right now. Some day I'd like to get a small dog(less clean up);-)
Josie:You lucky gal! I'd love to go dancing some time. Hoping to take some lessons in fall/winter time. It was alot of fun when my husband and I took them in 2000.
Rhonda:Hope the mammogram went ok.I hate it when they don't have a good picture and have to do it again:-(
Jen:Thanks so much for the review.HMMMM! I'm not sure if I want the dvd or not. I'm so spoiled with Cathe and she is so good about explaining the moves.
I called Md yesterday, no results back yet. But this steriodal cream I'm using for eczema is causing a increase of fluid under my eyes. I look like I have some pretty good bags there now. I hope the tests show something I'm tired of living this way.
Going to the lake later this morning.I don't look forward to it anymore since I shouldn't go into water. Probably won't be back till sunday.I hope you ladies have a great weekend~Linny~

Happy Friday, All,

Sorry for the abbreviating, Deb, TIFTing is Taking It From the Top.

Yesterday, I didn't exercise. After work, I went back to my orthopedist and talked him into letting me have another cortisone shot in my thumb instead of surgery. It did take some cajoling, but when I told him about my fall at work, and landing on my thumb, he agreed to one more shot.

Got home late, and hand was numb, so no workout. Today, I plan to do the Low portion of Candace Copeland's Step and Low, then another segment from Classical Stretch TV show, Back Pain Prevention.

Have a wonderful day,
Jen

Hi, everyone--

I did Squeeze today and Kimberly Spreen's Kickbox Bootcamp yesterday.

Went to Saratoga yesterday to see the NYC Ballet do "Jewels." My favorite is Rubies, because of the collaboration between Balanchine and Stravinsky--wonderful quirky movements whenever Balanchine choreographs to his music. It's been ages since I have seen this piece at Lincoln Center--with Patricia MacBride, Merrill Ashley, and the dazzling Suzanne Farrell in Diamonds, paired with Peter Martens in his prime. A dancer's life is so short, so these ballerinas are all history now, but I do remember them.

Tomorrow is Jacob's Pillow again--Paul Taylor and modern dance. Hope it's a nicer day than yesterday. Pouring rain on the whole drive over to Saratoga.

I am still cleaning up my office. It actually feels kinda good to get all of this old stuff out of here and everything dusted. Things were beginning to close in on me.

Have a great Friday everyone!

Hello everybody:

Just finished BM2 cardio only premix and abs.

Deb: My parrot was hand fed is much tamer than yours. His favorite person is my older daughter. When she is around nobody else can touch him. However, he loves to cuddle and loves to have his head scratched. My dog died about 2 years ago. It is like having a child and I do not wish to have another at this point. I do have 11 fish tanks of various sizes. I still have not unwrapped the classical stretch.

Linny: All goes well, my parrot should live 50-75 years. He is in my will. The mammogram went okay. Last year they had to take a second film. I hate that also. Sorry that you are still having health concerns.

Jen: I only had to have cortisone shot once when I had bad tendonitis in my wrist. Luckily that was all it took.

Garance: I am finally beginning to see the end of my cleaning and purging on the home front. The laundry room is almost done and we will be “reloading”.

Regards,

Rhonda

Hi Ladies,

Today is my day off. This weekend I will be doing the usual walk with my friend Jeannie. The doctors found that her lung cancer has spread a bit more even after the chemo. She has to decide if she wants to go on another chemo progam. She is a trooper though, she still wants to walk and do the sand dunes this weekend. I will also be running on Saturday.

Deb, I plan to do all of my workouts at the resort. I never venture out on my own when I'm on vacation. We are going to Playa Bonita

Well Ladies, you will not see me on the board next week.
Have a great weekend.

Josie
