All:
I will be going to Tunica Miss next week, Tuesday, coming back Friday evening, then leaving Sat morning for Washington Dc. Both work trips. I hope someone starts the thread each day, or at least once for the week, so we can keep up with what is going on in our respective lives.

I watched the "men" on Dancing with the Stars last night. I think the race car driver has a lot of potential. The model is pretty funny, not sure if he will make it. Cameron seems a little stiff. I hope he gets better. I already know who is voted off from listening to people at work. I think Wayne should have been voted off, instead of the Josie ( female model) but Wayne has a larger fan base.

Jen:
Thanks for the explanation on the sushi vs. sashimi.. I still think I will pass for now!:7 . Have fun at the carnival with the grandsons!

Garance:
Gym Style Legs is pretty good. I only do timesavers..as I don;t like floor work for legs. I got pretty good Doms from the shorter timesaver, which I have not had with a leg workout is some time, including Pure STrength and S&H. I'm with you on the push ups.. right down there on my knees! What are there about 1000 in this workout?:7 No favorites yet on Dancing for me either.

Linny:
I am sure you can find a really good recipe for a low fat apple crisp on the net. I like recipezaar.com or allrecipies.com. I love apples and eat one every day, just because! Your menu sounds great...what are Healthy handfuls?

Hope everyone has a great fall weekend. Go out and have fun.. we deserve it!

Hi Deb and later posters--

Today I did Kimberly Spreen's Absolute Kickboxing--the alternating kickbox and bodybar intervals (60 min.)

The weather is more fall-like again here--thank goodness! The humidity was really getting to me.

A quiet weekend ahead for me--just catching up with my courses after a week of meetings, meetings, meetings of the senior dept. staff to decide on reappointments and promotion.

I'm teaching Fanny and Alexander next week--a Ingmar Bergman film. Has anyone seen that one?

Jen, what can you take on the plane now in terms of cosmetics, hair stuff, and pills? I will be going to England the end of October and want to do carry-on, so I'm not sure what I can bring with me because I haven't been on an airplane for a long time.

Linny, I like epicurious.com for recipes. I think they have a low calorie search you can do there as well.

I'm still eating homegrown tomatoes--a bumper crop--and using our eggplants to make baba ghannouj and a Chinese dish with eggplant and ground pork.

Have a great weekend everyone!
