4DS question - can I do two weight workouts in one day?

Hi Guys,

I've recently started the 4 Day Split rotation that Cathe posted, and I had to miss the weight portion due to my twins waking from their nap a little early!!

I did the HIS cardio, but missed the weight portion. DO you think I could add this to another day of the series? What day would it work with best?

Thanks for your input - this is one tough series!!

I combined back, chest, and shoulders on one day... It worked out better for me timewise to do it that way. Then I did legs one day, and biceps,triceps, and calves another day.
 
I have been doing 4 Day Split in 3 days by doing legs and abs, then I do the upper body premix omitting the shoulders and do shoulders and abs on the 3rd day. I like doing it this way because it still puts chest and back alternating together and triceps and biceps alternating together. That gives me time for a break to have a yoga day and then do a Total body at the end of the week.

What a great idea Diane Sue! I've wanted to use the weight work from 4DS more often than I do and I like this idea. Would you mind sharing what the rest of your rotation looks like when you use 4DS like this?

Angela, I have been doing it like this (I worked all of 4DSplit cardios in with other cardios as well with other cardios)

Mon. 4Day Split legs one or both ab segments
Tues. 4Day Split Chest,back, Biceps Triceps (from upper premix)skip shoulders
Wed. 4Day Split shoulders and ab segment not done or another like Butts and Guts
Thurs. Yoga and stretch
Fri A Total Body Workout of choice(sometimes this depended on time)
week 1 Tracey's Walking Strong, Amy's Dome workout from Hi/Lo Dome and Glute Camp Floor legs,step Mix 2 abs and glute camp abs
week 2 Jari's Ripped 1000 I also did the abs bonus on the end
week 3 Amy's Dome from Hi Lo Dome and Body Max 2 abs
week 4 Kelly Coffey's Cardio Sculpt Fitness and Tracey's Total Body from her Parts dvd (only the part at the beginning, I stopped at Pilates because I that was all of the time I had)
Sat. Cardio, abs 2 of those weeks was Abs from the Pyramid dvd, and yoga
