4DS & More

Hi. I am starting a new check-in, and plan to continue this for the next four weeks. Anybody wanting to do a 4DS rotation, with just 4DS or anything else thrown in, please check in with me/us!!

Though the check in is starting today, I started 4DS yesterday. I did the kickboxing segment, then did back and biceps. Today I plan to do shoulders/calves/core. I'm unsure about bootcamp (not even sure I could modify it!!), and the two step workouts. I may attempt LIS today and see how I do.

A little about myself....I'm currently doing WW, and have about 60 lbs. to lose at the age of 43. Earlier this year I worked out with a personal trainer, and it really got me motivated to get on and stay on the workout bandwagon. I didn't see a ton of weightloss (following her strict clean eating regimen wasn't my way of living), though I'm sure if I followed it, I would have lost alot more. I lost a total of 13 lbs. with her over a 3 month period, along with several inches. I have since lost 3 more lbs, and hope to lose 14 more by the end of the year, and another 30 next year!!! :) I should say, I did firm up quite a bit, and lost inches.

I'll check in with you. It looks like my check in over at VF kind of died out. I'm doing CTX this week and will do 4DS next week then I plan to alternate the two series for another 2 weeks if I can stick with it for that long. Here is what I've done so far:
Sat: Power Circuit
Sun: Step & Intervals/Surf Yoga Soul Flexibility Flow
Mon: Kickbox
The rest of my week looks like this if I can stick to my schedule:
Tonight is 10-10-10
Wed: Leaner Legs
Thurs: All Step
Fri: Probably rest
Sat: A KB workout or a workout from The Pit or Yoga
Sun: Rest from exercise...church then open house for parents of my kindergarten students
Monday I plan on starting 4DS with a day or two of KB, Yoga, or other workouts.

I've enjoyed the intensity and getting it done in under an hour with CTX. I look forward to 4DS next week and being able to use heavier weights. I think the two series may compliment each other well. It's nice to get back to some tried and true Cathe's. After this I'll have to switch it up again to keep me motivated and interested.

10-10-10 is done. I may have to make my rest day Thursday and workout on Friday. I forgot that I made dinner plans for Thursday. I'll start putting in long days tomorrow as I go back to school so I anticipate being a little pooped out.
 
Hi Kim,
I rested today and probably tomorrow. I'll do All Step on Friday and some kind of workout on Saturday then I'll finish my first week of CTX.
 
All right Kim this is my last post and I'll assume you started a check in you don't want to be part of....LOL! Here's what my week ended up looking like:
Sat.: CTX Power Circuit
Sun.: CTX Step & Intervals/Flexibility Flow form Surf Yoga Soul
Mon.: CTX Kickbox
Tues: CTX 10-10-10
Wed.: No workout
Thurs.: No workout
Fri.: CTX Leaner Legs/Shoulders

Today I hope to do cardio and maybe some yoga then I'll start 4DS on Monday.
