Hi everyone, getting us started, I'll be gone on Monday. Sunday I did HR UB and STS TB UB. My lower body should be rested enough for a long hike tomorrow. It's going to be the hottest day of the year so far (94), I hate it that hot.

Mary, hope you enjoyed the "beach". How wonderful your kids w/o with you although DD only worked out the couch pose :)

Roxie, dogs are wonderful for getting walking in, aren't they?

Hi Murphy and Ronne, I expect some grand workouts posted when I get back late on Monday :) Naw, just kidding, hope you had a wonderful weekend.

Good Evening,

Its been really hot here today and tomarrow is suppose to be worse 99 and I think the dog is sick. I plan on either doing Gym Styles timesavers or continue with KCM she seems to be working for me.

Lisa-I hate really hot weather its to soon for these temps.

Hi girls! Hope everyone had a good weekend! Beautiful weather here, 80 and no humidity, but I see your hotness is coming here! Today I did the chest from S&H and did 25 min., on the TM. I am going to break that series up this week and do a little cardio everyday. I'll see how that works. Lisa, hope you had fun or your hike, 12 miles is a long distance! Roxie, hope you are staying cool! Ronne and Murphy: hello! What are you two up to? Have a good day! Mary

Hi everyone, well, we decided not to hike, too hot! And hazy from the fires in Southern CO, Arizona and New Mexico. So I did Step Moves, man, even with the a/c on at 72, I still sweated buckets. Maybe we will reschedule the hike to friday.

I also came in to work because I was still crabby from the car keying incident so figured might as well go into work and be crabby. I get here and EVERYONE is crabby, maybe it's the heat :)

Mary, YES, the heat is coming your way, I'm so sorry. At least you won't have the smoke and haze. Friday night I swore there was a fire burning closer to me than Southern CO (I'm in Northern CO). amazing how winds can carry the smoke.

Roxie, I hope your dog gets better, what's she/he sick with? My 18 y/o cat is now throwing up the past couple of days, she has kidney problems so it may not be much longer for her. :( I did ask for a sign that it was time for us to let her go, so will see how she does the next couple of weeks. She's blind and arthritic, poor thing.

Back to the crabby work place :) Misery loves company :)

Good Afternoon,

Its been crazy here at work. Tonite for me is KCM 30min Wts. and some kind of abs. It was 85 degrees at 8:30 this morning.

Lisa-I don't know what he is sick with he is technically my youngest DDs dog but her BF is allergic to him so he stays with us. She said if he wasn't better by Wednesday she would take him to the vet. Stay safe with those fires.

Mary-I was thinking about doing the Timesavers on GS and cardio.

Good Evening,

Instead of doing wts. I took the dog for a walk even though its still 90 degrees outside. I know I said he was sick but he really wanted to go with me and I couldn't resist.

Hi all. Today was 4DS KB. I love that one. Yesterday was "yardwork". I wanted to start the 4DS series yesterday but DD was sick Sunday night - it was coming out of both ends. Both kids ended up in our bed - they got a good nights sleep and DH was snoring away. I of course was staring at the ceiling. Have a good day all and watch the heat.

Thanks for the visual ! :p:eek:

Hi everyone

Wow, sounds like you're all suffering with the heat. Could you send some this way please?! No workouts for me this weekend as we were away. The 90th birthday party went well and the birthday girl was very pleased! Also did a bit of sightseeing while we were away. I bet you haven't heard of this: 'Another Place' by Antony Gormley - Viewpoint in Liverpool, Crosby - Visit Liverpool
They're really great - just wonderful to stand and stare at.
Today I did the Superset premix from GS CST as I'm a bit short of time. It does leave you feeling like you've worked your chest/triceps well even thought it's shorter than the real thing.

Lisa - hope you get your hike in later this week and the crabbiness quotient goes down at work!

Mary - sounds like a good workout plan for the week.

Murphy - hope DD is better now.

Good Morning,

Tonite for me will be KCMs 30min to Wts. Bis, Tris, and Shoulders also need to do some ab work. Suppose to be another hot one here today.

today was LBB. One last hot day and then a cool front moves in and will be in the high 70s here, ah! The wind started blowing in a different direction and the smoke is clearing out too. Poor Arizona and their fire though!

roxy, I'm sure the dog loved the walk. hopefully getting better too. What kind of dog/age?

Ronne, love the picture you posted, I could picture it being very relaxing view!

Hi everyone! Today was S&H back and 3 miles on the TM. Murphy, glad I wasn't at your house! Hope DD is feeling better! Ronne, that looks like an interesting place, his statue looks so real! I guess that would be the point tho! Lisa, how is the crabbiness today? Are you feeling better? I know somedays I am like the wicked witch and I don't know why! Roxie, your heat is just about here. Well, need to go run some errands, I have to go & get teacher gifts. Have a good day! Mary

Lisa-the dog is part beagle part welsh corgie. He has a really long body and tail but short front legs and he is all black on top white on his belly. He turned 2 last month. He is a really good dog but after we lost our cocker spaniel that we had for 10 years we said no more dogs then we got stuck with this one and unfortunately they work their way into your heart.

Yes they do! And I know the heartache when you lose one and not wanting another. Now that I've been seeing my future DIL's dog it's been making me want another. That's another reason for my funk this weekend. I was irritated that it seems the money I'm making at work is going for extra bills (like fixing that keying of my car) instead of to my retirement fund. Once I retire I know I will get another sheltie since I will have a lot of time to devote to it.

Hello everyone

Today was another quick workout: Hiit Pyramid. Had to go and bring the washing in because it started raining. Stopped now but looks threatening so I don't know what to do!

Mary - so are you enjoying your mini-rotation?

Lisa - you're not thinking about retiring yet are you?!!

Roxie - hope it's got a bit cooler for you.

Good Morning,

Still warm here but suppose to rain an cool down tomarrow. I haven't felt like working out this week don't know what my problem is.

Ronne-sounds like you need to hold off on hanging up clothes.

Today was GS BSB and I did the STS TB ab section. Woke up with a bit of a headache and still have it, just took a migraine pill. Maybe because of the cool front and rain that is supposed to come today?

Ronne, yes I am thinking of retiring! Work is bad for my health! I think these 10-15 lbs I gained since I've been working again is from stress and lack of sleep (oh and maybe a bit of age thrown in). I thought I was retired 5 yrs ago, but then work called me back to a job where the work isn't as bad as what I had when I left. So given that I believe you are given opportunities for a reason, I figured I better work some more before I either can't or someone doesn't want me (especially for the $ they are paying me). But we do want to retire in 4-5 yrs, maybe me sooner depending how long this job lasts. The thing that worries me the most is coming up with $ for medical care. With DH's surgery (his 2nd in last 4 yrs), makes me worry what's to come when we get older. I guess I'm a worry wart :)

Roxie, I haven't really felt like working out either, and lately I just feel weaker. It was hard doing GS BSB with the weights I normally use. Maybe because I haven't done those in so long! But, I figure it's good to do something instead of doing nuthin :)

Mary, some of the crabbiness is working it's way out, until I think about the idiot that keyed our car again!

Murphy, how's everyone? Any more illnesses? I hope not!

Hi girls! Thanks for the heat! It is around noon and 94 all ready! Just back from carnival day at the school, I had to paint faces all morning. I don't know why they had a non creative, non artist do that? I had fun tho! I will be getting to my legs and cardio shortly. Roxie, maybe the heat is wearing you out? Lisa, glad the crabbiness is dissipating. Tho, I would get wound up thinking about my car too! 5 years until retirement? That is not long at all! We have 12 more years, then he can retire. Ronne, is it warm over there? I don't want rain tho! Murphy, what's up with you? Have a good day and stay cool! Mary

Mary, re: retirement, DH turns 55 this year, and I refuse to work if he isn't (although it's ok for him to work and me not :) ) Our car is 11 yrs old so not exactly pristine (but in excellent) condition. It's the fact that someone can deface your property and get away with it. Where are these people's conscience?

Oh, DH saw the urologist today. the stone was Calcium oxalate monohydrate. The bloodwork and urine collection showed he needed to drink more and that he has high levels of calcium in his blood. they will do another blood draw and if the calcium is still high will put him on meds.

Seems I've had TOO MUCH going on in my life lately and I'm really, really ready for downtime.

Hello

Lisa - sounds like you need to book yourself a holiday! Always good to have something to look forward to. My DH is 53 but he's got to soldier on for another 12 years as we've got a mortgage to pay!!

Mary - sadly, the weather is pretty useless here at the moment. I was moaning yesterday that I've hardly had any chance to wear skirts or dresses. I'm still stuck in my jeans!

Hi Murph and Roxie.

Quick workout again today - the timesaver premix of GS BSB. I'm also feeling a bit blah about working out at the moment. Think it's time for some new stuff!
