40's Week of Aug 1

Good Evening,

Tonite I did 4ds Legs & Calves and L&G floorwork, I think Debbie is trying to kill me with this rotation. I still want to do some abs. I tried to match Cathes wts and I hurt my back.

Is that Debbie from the Cathe forums? I used to do her rotations and they are wonderful and intense! I just can't follow a rotation to save my life since returning to the wonderful work force 2 yrs ago. I miss being a stay at home wife :)
 
Hi all. Mary and Roxie, thank you for the birthday wishes. I turned 42 yesterday. The bad news is that I was still sick yesterday -and today too. Whatever was bothering my tummy has finally de died to "leave" so yesterdayband this morning have been "interesting". Anyway, thank you.

All of you have been so busy, I cannot remember who did what.
SHereta -I cannot do 3inch heels all day. I keep extra shoes in the office as a back-up. BTW, I cannot believe you worked out after falling in the shower. That was crazy. I hope you feel better soon. Oh, you work for a school?
Lisa - sorry to hearabout yoshi and your eye. I hope you both get better. Congrats on the crazy hike.
Jody -thanks for getting my worknouts in for me! I usually skip HIS and LIS -I have some stepping issues. I am not god at it. It takes me a long time to get the steps.
Ronne - glad you had fun with the tv show.
Mary - how are things your way.
Roxie -what crazy work outs are you planning in this heat?

I hope I have not forgotten anyone. I have to make a "run".

Shereta, how ya doing after the wipeout? And are your heels magic shoes? I think a high heel look is so pretty. My usual look is wife beater, jeans and flip flops.

Murphy, happy BD to you! Think of how skinny you'll be after your tummy bug, lol. And feel free to do all kickboxing or hi low workouts for me and I will gladly do all the step.

Lisa, are you recovered yet from hike?

Yesterday I did the HIS and associated body parts as noted, but later on I did my TKD run that I do when waiting on kids on T/Th. 4 miles, first 1.5 straight out steady no breaks and the balance was 30/30 45/45 or 60/60 sprint walks. Damn I was tired and stiff last night.

I plan to finish 4DS w/o this week but will have to force myself to do non step. Also this Sun I'm subbing for a choreography class which will be more of a personal and brain challenge than a physical one so wish me luck on that one.

Good Morning,

This morning I got woken up by a severe thunderstorm blowing through the area high winds rain lightining and thunder went back to sleep and overslept so I was running about 15min behind. Tonite I will do KCMs KBXing suppose to be KPC and then I will do tomarrows 4ds Biceps and Triceps and some abs. I am going to go spend some time with my mother and sister so I want a shorter workout in the morning which will be some kind of cardio. My right knee is killing me from last nights workout.

Shereta-how are you feeling today?

Jody-go to rotation forum find fitnessfreaks rotations and it is the Dec 08 rotation.

Murphy-I have heard 2 different forcast for today one says upper 80's the other says upper 90's with a heat index over 100 so not really sure what it will be like today. Its cloudy and rainy right now.

Lisa-how are the legs today?
 
Hi everyone, today was GS CT. I really didn't want to work out, I knew it had to be an UB workout. The legs are a bit better but still some DOMS. I can't imagine ever doing that hike pre-Cathe! What is feeling better is just the general tiredness, I was really wasted yesterday. Then to top it off, my BFF and I are now planning to do another 14er in the next couple weeks (I'm waiting for her to pick a date and peak). I think that altitude made me crazy for 14ers! lol

Murphy, how come everyone knew it was your birthday but me? Was it posted and I missed somehow or does everyone have a better memory than me? Anyways, happy birthday you young chick! Mine is in 9 days and I will have 5 yrs on you :)

Shereta, how is the injury? Kudos for sticking to your workout and watching for injury.

Jody, good luck with subbing. You have to have confidence to do that!

Roxie, TGIF, right! Be careful with that knee

Mary, thanks for the suggestion of Benadryl, that helped, I should have taken it the night after the hike but I forgot :confused: Remind me next time :)

Ronne, I bet you are getting excited for your vacation (or maybe I"m more excited cuz it sounds so cool).

the end of the work day can't come soon enough for me! When I take time off, I always want more, more, more!
 
Hi girls! Today was CTX upper body, that was pretty challenging!, Lisa, can't believe you are going to do that hike again! That was day's of workouts all in one! Hope you got some sleep! Murphy, hope you are feeling better and got to enjoy some cake! Ronne, have fun in Spain! Jody, impressive teaching a dance class! What kind of dance? Shereta, are you feeling better? Roxie, have fun with your family! Hope you feel better too. Have a good Friday! Mary. Have to add, when DH went to figure out the leak in the ceiling, the faucet broke in half!? Not a banner day!
 
Next 14er is now planned for next Wed :) My BFF and I will leave Tuesday for Breckenridge and stay overnight so we don't have to get up too early in order to be at the trailhead by 5:30. I can't believe I'm doing another one, I hope we have beautiful weather.

Mary, so sorry to hear of the water problems, that is no fun!

Mary - is that going to be another big spend to fix the ceiling? Anyway, go you for having done step after your break. Hope the hip is holding up.

Lisa - you've obviously found a new addiction! Much healthier than chocolate, beer, [insert own weakness of choice here!] ... Yes, I am really looking forward to it now.

I did 30/30 today. Thought you might appreciate the fact that I'm sitting here eating chocolate while posting. Then I'm going to drink some red wine!! Do you think I'm even allowed to call myself a Cathlete?!! Have a good weekend everyone!

Ronne, it is good that you are too far away to feel my evil steely glare over choco and red wine. I can't stay within my WW points when I am eating fruit and fat free yogurt and tabbouleh. Hmmph.

Friday I did 4DS Bootcamp (fun, hard, quick- yea!) and then 8 miles on bike (to WW mtg and back).
Sat 4DS bi and tri only. Left Cathe on player all day, but she never got me to come back and do anymore w/o. Today dance class x 2. Maybe more w/o, I dunno yet.

I did unpack about 5 boxes Sat and get more stuff put away. I downsized when I moved into my condo. I just don't have room for flippers and snorkels and dog crates and desktop PCs, etc. if we don't use them.
