Back to report my w/o. Kettlebell way...haven't done in ages, it was harder than I think it normally was, either because 1. I haven't done it in a while, 2. I'm older 3. I'm out of shape or 4. a combo of the above.
Roxie, no rain yesterday here, but they did get it in South Denver. I still think my headache was from weather the prior 2 days, I was just elated when I woke up with no headache this morning. For us in this hot dry climate we don't realize how much water we are losing thru perspiration. i just try to guzzle water even when not thirsty. It could be some weather pressure adding to it for you too.
Mary, I was dog tired yesterday, don't know why, maybe it's my body just using up everything to heal my face. Lesson in skin cancer that I've learned: Basal cell (I get from Mom) has to be cut out, better to do the Mohs surgery to make sure all is gotten and stitch leaves less scar than if they scooped it out, then it leaves a divet in your face and a white circular mark. 2. Pre-cancerous (from father's side) they freeze off, these turn eventually to squamous cell cancer, never had them get that far thank goodness. I do know 2 people whose siblings have died from squamous cell cancer. Since I have a reddish complexion (some from rosacea), the scar by my nose may be a bit more noticeable since it will be white and that area of my skin is a little red, that's where the laser may come into play (hope insurance pays for that). So wait a month, see how that scar is. That one is still real sensitive but less noticeable since it's all red, the one on my cheek is more noticeable right now since the scar is red and surrounding facial tissue normal color. Make sense? Oh I did ask doc, why is it that these basal cells seem to flare up, then go away, flare up, go away, and when they go away I think they aren't anything. He said that's the body's way of trying to fight it off and eventually the body can't anymore (I've had that one coming and going by my eye for at least 2 yrs). So for now, I have to try to remember where these things come and go and if there is a pattern then when they are flaring try to get in to catch them a bit sooner. However, the one on my cheek was caught early and really wasn't much smaller than the eye one. eye one was 1.1mm x .7 mm, cheek on was .9mm x .7 mm. Hope this lesson helps one of you and wasn't boring.
Murphy, yes post pics!!!!! Hope you had a fabulous time!
Jody, saw on the news, the corgis was the queens. I bet your DD is loving her straight teeth now! Braces are so worth it. So glad my parents did it for me, I really would have been a mess!
Ronne, was DD glad to see you? I didn't see the rain Mary mentioned, have watched a bit of olympics, but just here and there.
Oh, my left glute, I FINALLY figured out what was causing it! The chaise part of the sectional is causing it when I lay there, so have to find a new spot on the couch to zonk out. I finally figured it out as that was where I spent most of the recovery time and no working out and my left upper glute was killing me. I'm so glad I finally figured it out! Maybe I'm not meant to lay around so much
