40s - week of 7/10/11

Hi all

Roxie - no, the football is in Germany. That humidity sounds horrible.

Lisa - wow, you're really going for it at the moment, aren't you? Enjoy it while it lasts. There's no particular reason for the tourists, it's Oxford + summer = tourists. Same every year - there just seem even more this year! I try not to go in to the town centre too much!

Mary - yes, you're right, if it had to happen it's better now.

Today was HR UB premix. It's so short! The weather is actually pretty nice here today so I'm going to make the most of it and go to the park this afternoon and just read.

Did MMA Fusion today. Those rolly things still get me. I can get them done, it just that I don't want to do much afterwards and there are is enough more to go. Funny, I like the dvd until I do it and then I am annoyed. Now that it is over, I like it again. :)

Murphy

Good Morning,

Headache is down to a dull roar now so tonite I will do KCM Plyo Blast and Cindy Whitmarsh abs.

Murphy-I have that workout just haven't tried it yet.

Ronne-we are in a heat advisory unitl Monday. What are you reading?

Unplanned rest day because I was SLEEPING! I don't set an alarm anymore so if I over sleep, then I must have needed it. that's my philosophy. I'll be back for personals later.

Hi girls! PLB today, quick workout for some reason. Roxie, hope your head feels better. Lisa, you needed a rest day! And some sleep! Murphy, I avoid that w/o! All that getting up and down. Ronne, have fun reading. I am reading Folly Beach by Dorothea Benton Frank. Now, I want to move to North Carolina! Have a good day, Mary

Roxie, hope you are feeling better. Sometimes the only thing to get rid of my headache is prescription Relpax.

Ronne, what are you reading? Maybe I'll do what I had planned to do today later tonight....or maybe not. BM2 double UB premix was on tap.

Mary, I haven't heard of that book, is it good?

Murphy, I like that workout, the rolly things are ok (can tuck one leg up better than the other), it's the one thing where the alternative is plyo jacks and of course I never choose the alternative plyo's and then by the end I'm wishing I had. Oh, and I don't roll near as fast as Cathe.

Good Evening,

Tonite I did KCMs Split Session Lower Body Split. Its 96 degress with a heat index of 105. We are heat a heat warning until Monday.

Yippee Skippee! I went home and did BM2 UB premix minus the warmup and minus the abs. It was tough, it was either because my tummy was full of pizza or because it was the evening, or both! But I did it!

I started to do 40/20 this morning but just could not do it, I was so tired. So what did I do instead? I did teh intensity timesaver, lo HiiT and boot camp. ???? I was still tired but made it through. Of course I am more tired after having done it, but I feel could that it is done.

Hi everyone

Lisa/Roxie - I'm reading Burying the Bones by Hilary Spurling - it's a biography of Pearl Buck and is absolutely fascinating.

Murphy - well done for not giving up on the workout - it feels great to get something done.

Mary - I haven't heard of that author - what kind of stuff is it?

I've been for a facial this morning - bliss! Had a chest, shoulder and scalp massage with it as well. I'm a bit icky with oil now and don't really feel in the mood for a workout so I think I'll just go straight for the shower and count this as a rest day instead. Any plans for this weekend? DD's at a sleepover tomorrow night so we're going out to eat. Going to try a new place. Have a good weekend everyone.

Today I did TF 55 EZ, I did NOT want to workout at all, but thought this may lift my mood, my legs felt like lead (i've had glute and hamstring DOMS from plyo earlier this week). I made it through though I didn't give it my all.

Murphy, I totally understand how you were feeling! But to replace 40/20 with Insanity hi/lo + bootcamp? that's just lunacy although a bit easier than 40/20 (that one is soooo hard to me).

Ronne, sounds like you are starting your weekend off with a bang with facial and all. I've never had one, but I wouldn't like the oil and the ick from them running through my hair.

Roxie, Still hot here with storms, humidity still in 85% (that's HIGH for us, we are normally 15% humidity). I haven't had to use lotion like I normally do, and that's the ONLY plus of high humidity in my opinion. My hair has been looking blah because of it.

Mary, Have you gotten your a/c in yet?

I'm tired today, I was up at 3am, I accidently fell asleep too early last night so that is why I was up so early. Don't you hate it when you want to watch something on TV laying down resting and you fall asleep in 5 min?

today hopefully proves to be another boring day at work, I've been bored all week and I surely do NOT want them to dump on a friday!

have a good weekend all!

Good Morning,

Tonite for me is KCM Split Sessions Upper Body Split and either Plyo Blast or TF HiiT 15 and I still need to work abs. I have picked up a slight flu bug from someone and I wish I knew who I would give it back to them.

Lisa-I fell asleep Tuesday night waiting to go out to eat with the kids, it was only for a little bit but I know how you feel. Good job getting your workout in even though you didn't want to.

Ronne-sounds like a relaxing way to spend the day.

Murph-good job with your workout.

Mary-I just finished Janet Evanovichs number 17 and my mom asked me to read Peyton Place and tell why it was such a bad book back in her time so it is almost finished.

I'm late today! Did PUB. Ronne, I haven't had a facial in years! Have fun on your date! Lisa, 3 am?? Long day for you! Murphy, good job! I avoid 40/20! Roxie, hope your head is better. Stay cool everyone, we just got a window unit until we make a decision. Have a good weekend, Mary

Good Afternoon,

This morning I did KCM Split Sessions Upper Body and then walked on the TM. It is miserably hot again here today. I hope this heat breaks soon.

Hi! Did 3 miles ofnhills on the TM. Still hot, it is wearing me out. To the beach tomorrow, I will go sit in the lake! Mary
