40's week of 4/29/12

Yea Ronne! What was the special occasion? Let me know when you are ready for books :) I think Roxie has the Kindle? My books are in epub format but there is an easy free program to convert to mobi format for Kindle. Roxie, I gave you all that info before, right?

Speaking of books, Jody, silver balls, really? Do only I find this weird? I'm in the second 50 shades book.

I ended up buying a Nespresso single cup coffee (similar to Keurig) from Williams-Sonoma. Seems it's all the rage in Europe? Got an Aeroccino at 1/2 price and can make lovely cappuccino and latte to boot. It's so easy to make them that I may convert to caps and lattes in the mornings instead of using International Delights creamer....wondering if that will save me some calories since I can use my 2% milk + stevia instead of cream + sugar that is in International Delights.....

Good Evening,

DH and I spent the day together but I started it off with a 2 mile walk in my neighborhood and then we went to the lake he fished while I laid out. We drank to much and I am sunburned even though I wore sunscreen. I am tired and ready for a shower.

Ronne-yea for the kindle you will love it.

Lisa-yes you gave me that info and that is how I downloaded Nora Roberts new book. I like International Delights White Chocolate.

Mary-you are better then I am, I have had a toothache for 2 months and still haven't made it to the dentist can't eat on the right side but I had a root canal done 2 days before DD's wedding and I remember how miserable I felt.

Jody-just a confused as everyone else.

Murphy-hopefully some day your husband will get the hint.

Did my favorite, again, 4DS KB - including the lower body portion. I used to love the lower body portion but now I am iffy. ????? Maybe I will put it at the bottom of the pile for a while and see how I feel later. ????

Good morning! Today I think I set my expectations to high, I did a Tonique w/o, had to pause a few times, got it done tho. Roxie, sounds like a great day! How are you feeling today? Did you make it to pump? Murphy, that is a long w/o! Haven't done it in forever! Lisa, I started 50 shades, a little weird, for some reason can't put it down!? How's the new coffee maker? Ronne, those are the best gifts of all! I love unexpected gifts! What have you downloaded? Jody, are you still dancing? Have a lot to do today, Target, cleaning, mow the grass. I better get busy! Mary

Hi all

Lisa - no occasion at all - DH just wanted to surprise me! Thanks for the offer, will let you know!
Yes, I've heard of those machines - they're advertised by George Clooney over here! They're supposed to be good.

Mary - hope the pain is easing - that sounds bad! Last night I downloaded three freebies, Jane Eyre, David Copperfield and one called Lady Audley's Secret (an early example of a 19th century 'mystery/detective' type novel).

Roxie - sounds like a great day despite the sunburn!

Murphy - I've always been a bit 'blah' about the KB lower body work - especially those low lunges near the end. At least it's quite short!

Been to the garden centre with my mum and bought some new shrubs, bulbs and seeds for planting tomorrow. Also cut the grass which counts as my workout today!

Not a good sleep last night, woke up 3 times by work starting at 11pm, then DH snoring (thought I had Murphy's DH in bed with me...lol), then Yoshi meowing outside the bedroom door--she's been needy for some reason, then more DH snoring. Finally got back to sleep by 4am. I channeled Murphy since I had been channeling her all night with the snoring and did 4DS KB cardio only. Short and sweet. Today I have the bridal shower to go to.

Ronne, can I count walking the mall yesterday to find the perfect coffee machine as my w/o? If you claim mowing I claim walking the mall. lol I love just because gifts, they are the best! Enjoy the kindle.

Mary, that book has me saying, oooh, really? they did what?

Roxie, how is the house, you haven't mentioned it lately.

Murphy, come and take your DH back please! lol

Good Evening,

Thought I checked in this morning, I went for a 2 mile walk and then spent the afternoon sweeping DDs' new basement floor all 1700 square feet of it then I came home and did SJP/Weights Circuit I really like this workout.

Lisa-Monday they are suppose to insulate and Wednesday they are going to put the sheet rocking up so it should really start taking shape now. I didn't sleep well either my stomach was upset and my sunburn hurt and still does.

Lisa, now I will picture you having luxurious coffees in the morning before you use your new luxurious bath before work. Re the toys from 50 shades, well, all I can say is... there is a whole other world out there that I've seen glimpses of since getting divorced. The story is entertaining but is somehow corny? Its that mix of Harlequin romance and twisted. If you are not adverse to graphic, one of the best books I've read was Candy Girl by Diablo Cody (she's written for Chelsea Lately and she wrote screen play for Juno). Best to me as in funny and devour-able and re readable.

And what I was trying to say in previous post (note to self do not post at 230 in the sleepless morning from mobile phone) was that now that I am working less and not going to school, perhaps I can plan a few bellydance classes ahead of time and take the stress out of teaching.

Lisa and Roxie, with all the house building, weddings and baby, you can really see the another phase of life in your kids. I hope to see more independence in mine soon.

Ronne, cool about your kindle and your hubby. See, I knew he was a goodie when you said he went bird watching. I'm thinking of getting one too. (an e- reader, not hubby)

Mary and Ronne, I am grateful I don't have to mow, but agree it is a workout!

Muphy, you and I are opposite in that I love step and am learning to like non step cardio.

I'm working out in the parenting department this week, trying to help dd get her community service hours. I spent a lovely day with my mom while kids worked at a theater and yesterday had a wonderful pedicure time with a dance sister.

voot!
