I did one of those yoga sessions from yogatoday yesterday. Yesterday was a really good day, not sure if it's because no computer,new pillow, massager,yoga, adjustment, or all of the above. going to do another yoga today. limiting computer time too, so limited personals

jody, that is awesome, i haven't seen that weight since before HS, you are long and lean! RE: chair, when you can't find anywhere comfortable except flat out on the bed for 2 weeks, you get desparate :) plus was a good anniv excuse

roxie, my eats have not been great, but I figure it was good for my body to get some good fuel, now to try to limit calories before next saturday when we go out to celebrate our anniv

mary, how frustrating with hip, you have such a great attitude about it all. my sister (overweigth one) had one done in 2005. it was a hard recovery for her because of her weight and lack of movement in life. i hope they can help you!
 
Hello! Rest day today, little one has 2 basketball games today. Lots of running. Yesterday did an Angie Miller one. Lisa, glad to hear you are feeling a bit better. I imagine it will take some time, took you some time to get to this place. 27 years! That's a long time! My folks are having their 50th this year. Time goes so quickly! Roxie, you still packing? Next weekend is the move? Jody, congrats! You should be impressed with yourself! 130! I'm impressed! Being so tall, I don't think I'll ever see that number again! Ronne, how's the folks? Murphy, you getting a lot of snow? We got like 6 inches yesterday. Regarding hip, have been dealing with it for 11 years, tried the arthroscopic surgery first, worked for the one side, other is just as bad. I'd rather get it done now, when hopefully won't be so hard to recover, instead of when I'm in my 70's! I keep working out because it hurts if I'm sitting or standing, I'd rather stay in shape and be in pain that turn to jello and be in pain and then have other health problems. Ok, enough of that! Mary I hear what you are saying, sounds like a good way to be proactive.

Lisa, I agree, a lovely anniversary present and hopefully it will bring some comfort into your life. It looks beautiful and comfy. Let me know how you like the neck massager, it might be worth it to get one.

I was down to 125 before school started in Aug and it creeped back up to almost 140 by Christmas break. Over Christmas break got back down to 135 (cathe and cleaner eating) and then started 4 days of xtend class/food program/new school semester simultaneously around Jan 13. I'd love 120! but no way to get there if I'm not eating clean clean clean + veggies veggies veggies
 
I did cardio coach 3 walking on the treadmill 4 miles per hour incline between 9 and 12 for the challenges, was a pretty good workout figured that should be good and not too stressful for me. Then did I yoga from yoga today.

Jodi that is awesome weight. Add about 20 pounds to that for me, I think were the same height so see you are long and lean!
 
Jody I like the massager so much I bought 1 for my daughter in law, her neck looks about like mine did. At least the chair I bought is cheaper than the 1 my sister told me about. Www. Ekorne. Com
 
Jody, I also meant to say I agree work excetera really gets in the way of staying healthy! I think a lot of my problems today are caused by work
 
yes, Lisa, lack of sleep and stress increase cortisol sp? levels which makes it that much harder to lose the wt.
I didn't work out today or go visit my mom which I really really wanted to do this weekend but I did finish another paper. Will I workout now and shower before bed so I can sleep in til 430 am?

I'm here! I got dismissed this morning, so I'm hoping I won't be called back at all. (Can't remember now whether I said I was supposed to start jury service this morning.)
Anyway, I can get on with work (and more importantly workout!). Had a nice weekend with the parents. Weather a bit better here, sunshine and blue skies, allthough cold.
Planning to do Legs (all sections) later today.

Roxie - the sooner you're out of that workplace the better it sounds to me. Good news about being close to DH's work though.

Mary - sorry to hear about your hip. You're very umcomplaining - I hope the doc can sort you out. Yes, I like Mumford & Sons. Couldn't see them on their recent tour unfortunately.

Jody - well done!! It sounds like this system is really working for you.

Lisa - Cathe will be waiting for you when you're ready ... Glad you found the YT website useful.

Lisa-can you do web support for Cathe doesn't seem like they can keep the server working.

I will do XT Bis & Tris + Core 1 when I get home today. We spent yesterday at the other house cleaning and shampooing the carpets I hope it helps. My DS and her DH and Nephew are coming down Saturday to help us get the big stuff moved so all we have is the little stuff. I think I may have slept 2 hours last night it was hot and I couldn't shut my mind off.

Lisa-hope are better today.

Jody-congrats on the wt.

Mary-yes still packing and moving.

Ronne-it was beautiful here yesterday but its really windy today and the temp dropped 20 degrees.
 
Hi everyone! Today did PS legs, mixing it up a little. Ronne, so glad you got off jury duty! Always lots of sitting around here. Roxie, it will all come together, sounds like you are organized. Jody, why do you have to get up sooooo early? Are your clinicals far away from you house? Lisa, how are you feeling? I don't know if you got it, I saw a board on Pintrest about stretches for your neck, I sent it to your email. I don't know if any of them could help you. Hi Murphy! Didn't sleep well last night, this pillow is a bit hard, and my ear started hurting. That always happens to me sometimes when I've slept deep, but it was worse on this pillow. Going to go buy a backup pillow since DS took my old one --the one I bought in desparation the last time this happened(it was bad for my neck anyway, maybe now I have more info on what to look for). This is the pillow Chiro sold me. it is good for side/back sleeping in same session :) The other one pushed my head too far forward when I'd roll on my back in middle of night. I don't have "pain" per say, muscle soreness, neck and between shoulders. Will see after today's chiro visit. I'm feeling like I'm getting there.

Ronne, I've committed to doing yoga (my GF is shocked). I can see where it would be good to fit in my routine, since I have the month subscription I'm going to try some everyday. Good you got dismissed! Yea, Mary is the non-complainer....the opposite of me...lol

Roxie, sorry to hear about the bad sleep, our lives seems to run in parallel--different circumstances causing similiar issues. You are funny about web support for Cathe! somehow with the little bit of work I do, my team lead says I need to get myself fixed because she can't lose me...haha, I feel I don't do much work myself (just lots of stressing, moaning and groaning about the boredom).

Mary, hmmm, didn't see that email, I've been avoiding computer (and I think it's helping). look at everything thru my phone, so may have deleted it. Have a good day off with the kids, it's always challenging to find something, I'm going thru that with DS21 for his spring break.

Oh, I did 1st 3 round of Low Max, I figured that was a good little w/o. Off computer now!

I did Bis and Tris plus Core 1 tonite so at least I did a workout to start the week now if I can keep it up.
 
At chiropractor neck was not out of alignment as much this time. So hopefully I'm making progress! Right by between shoulder still really tight says I need to start using my left hand more something I'm doing my right hand is causing it. I can't imagine what since I'm hardly doing anything it seems. Maybe mousing on the computer and maybe it's been cumulative over all these years. recommended stretch where you roll up a towel, lay lengthwise on your spine and lay in on your back it's 1 of the poses done at restorative yoga video

Mary, I try to leave house at 545, clinicals are 630 to 7, drive can be 30 min if there is problem on hwy. I'm not a wake up and go person plus I shower in the morns.

Lisa - good news, it looks like things are getting better for you. Well done on the workout and glad you're liking the yoga.

Mary - so what did you do with the kids?

Roxie - will you be sad to leave your house or are you just glad to be almost there?

Did Legs yesterday - I did it at 5pm (instead of my usual 11am workouts). It felt like that made a difference, found it harder than last time. I skipped the last floor exs with 5lbs weights, felt like I was using my back too much. I've got some glute DOMS this morning which I've not had before. I did give it my all!
Been recalled so got to go back this morning. Not sure if I'll get a workout in today.
 
Ronnie liking yoga is too strong of an emotion let's just say I'm tolerating it :) bad night last night neck really hurts from adjustment :-(

Jody, that's a long day. And I am very thankful that I'm able to work from home through all this, and not have to work all that much either!

After last night I'm going to cut back on even Cathy cardio :-( concentrating mainly on just yoga and walking
 
Good Morning,

Another crappy nights sleep. I will do Xtrain Legs when I get home. Inspection report on the house came back last night and they want the furnace looked at and serviced and a crack in the driveway fixed so I have a heating company coming today and DH is going to fix the crack. The weather is suppose to get nasty here starting tomarrow afternoon, they are talking freezing rain and snow but not giving amounts yet.

Ronne-I am having second thoughts on moving but I know realistically it has to happen and yes I just want it over with.

Lisa-sorry to hear your neck is bothering you again.

Jody-you have a very full day.
 
Good morning! Today just did the TM, hills and intervals. Lisa, I'm sorry. Do you go 3 times a week? I feel bad, you just don't get a break. When will your chairs come? Ronne, hope they send you home! Jody, that sounds exhausting! I don't have to leave till 6:30, being the teacher I always pick hospitals close to my house! Roxie, when is your last day at work? I hope the furnace just needs a new filter! Hi Murphy! Have to run to work, hope everyone has a good day! Mary
 
I missed my xtend class- tutoring work ran over and I've been sleepy all day long - cat woke me up at 3, 4.... At least now I'm even, I've missed a day of clin, school and tutor and now a workout with in the past two weeks.

There was a cast member of Insanity at the photo shoot. She seemed adorable but I didn't know her. Imagine running into Jai, Brenda etc? For that matter, working out with the creator every week is an awesome opportunity. They've changed up the food so I should be skinny minnie in no time. I think that I looked thinner but more haggard in shots today (6 weeks into it) due to lack of sleep, less hydration, etc.

I guess this post is all about me, lol, but I'm reading and waving hi!

So, have you seen Cathe's announcement? It's so funny - last night I was boasting to DH about how far I've done this rotation and he was saying that I'd have to buy some new DVDs when I've finished. So I said no, it'll be good to get back to all the ones I haven't used. That is, unless Cathe brings out a new series. And what do I get in my inbox this morning?!! Do you think she was listening? :p
I've been dismissed from jury duty so back to my normal routine again (avoiding the outside world!!). Did Tabata Level 3 then added on the 100 reps bi challenge. It hurt my forearms much more than my biceps, that's obviously my weak spot.
Sun's shining again and I'm in a really good mood for some reason!
