Starting us off before I forget it's Sunday and post to old thread :) The title is for you meno ladies...that's how I feel most of the time these days! I'm getting late start, hope to do Disc6 of xtrain cardio legs.

Good Morning,

Today for me is a rest day youngest dd and her bf and his son are coming over. I had fun spoiling gs last night he took a nice little nap while I was holding him. They put him on a play mat so we could watch him rollover but he did cooperate.

Lisa-I feel the same way if it weren't for calenders I would be lost.

Hi girls! Did legs, disc 5, also the hip thrust challenge, my butt all ready feel smaller! Lisa, if it weren't for the kids I wouldn't know what day was what. Let me know what you think of cardio legs. Roxie, I love holding napping babies, about the sweetest thing in the world. Jody, do you start school this week? Ronne, how was the surprise? Murphy, what ones have you tried this weekend? Dinner was good, loooong wait for a table tho, I did win at the casino! Well, have to clean, we have a basketball game, and I have to study for math test. Have a good day! Mary

Title reminds me of nifty app I dl for my phone, MyCarLocator.

I did a low impact tabata TS pm from CF, legs and tri. I've been using meso2 and GS for my body parts.
I went to a raw food restaurant w/ a bestie last night, nice last min get together. My newly licensed dd 17 drove herself and my other dd to a party (after dark, interstate x 20 miles plus navigation-- I was nervous but happy for the growth opportunity.

As you guys go through the xtrain, which ones stand out as, "Omg I'm so glad I have it?" vs "this is good, I'll be able to use it." LOL to hubby busting up hard strikes w/o. There are so many things we do in these workouts, funny that he would find something new to chuckle about.

Mary, we Love Big Bang here, too. Survivor Australia is good- it has Alicia, Amber and Colby and Jerri. We are watching the initial seasons, we didn't stat following til about season 8. Its fun to see the evolution. I wish they'd have an all Geezer season, I'd so be there.

Roxie, I'm happy you got to hang w/ gs and get those baby cuddles in.

Lisa, you have elliptical, tm and spin bike? I've never done a spin.

OK, enough farting around

Disc 6 Cardio legs is like Plyo legs. It was tough for me, and yea I went lighter on weights than Cathe. I don't think it's going to be one of my favorites, but then I don't like to work legs like Mary and Murphy does.

I still have to do the 100 rep challenges and fit them in somewhere, it's really, really back to work tomorrow (boss is back), so now my time will not be my own anymore!

Mary, I need a smaller butt! I'm not happy with my jeans or scale, do you feel it getting harder as we inch toward 50?

Jody, is there an app for MyBrainLocator ? I need it most days! Yes, I have all those, spin bike is low end, elip mid range, tm upper end.....somehow having them doesn't make the weight come off magically, you have to actually use them! DH has been using the elip a lot and when I work from home I'm going to make myself take 10 min breaks and get on it (kind of how when I'm at work I need to go back to making myself take breaks to take a 10 min walk a few times a day). Glad DD made it ok, I still worry about my youngest, especially when it snows. And if it snows bad I worry about both of the boys. At least you don't have snow to worry about them in!

My favorites from Xtrain:

Burnsets
supercuts
all out
hardstrikes

The ones I don't really like but may be because of my personal pref to workouts:

Cardio Legs
Ride

omgomgomgomg- I have something to tell but can't yet I don't want to jinx it.

Lisa, lol, to locatemybrain app! Supercuts and All Out seem most appealing to me (from afar, lol)

Unrelated, took cat to er vet today due to blood in urine plus she kept trying to pee. Sub q fluids, pain meds and antibiotics and 230 dollars later, she is OK and hopefully on the mend. Her antibiotics were about 80 dollars worth of bill, gak. Its a good thing she's not keeping me up all night.

Tomorrow is Monday, I'm gonna hit the ground running, ready to kick ass and take names and keep a positive spin and hopeful outlook on everything.

Ok Jody! My curiosity is peaking, but I will be patient and wait....I don't like it tho! Sending you good thoughts so whatever it is, turns out exactly like you want!

I think I know :) or maybe I just think I think I know, you know?

what life is kittah on? hopefully you get lots of purr snuggles

It's fitness related~~ not job or boys or kids.
Kitteh doing ok, but it was better that she got sick after she'd stopped waking me up 5 times a night. At this point, she's in for life, I'd say.

Hello all

Weekend went well, though was a lot of hard work. It's good to get back to normal. Work is going to be really busy for the next few weeks so although I'm back on the workouts they'll have to be a bit shorter. Did KCM's Powersculpting today. Good workout.

Jody - can't wait to hear your news!! I'm with you on the DD nervousness, can't imagine what it will be like when mine starts driving. It's bad enough her cycling to school!

Lisa - Oh, please - locatemybrain - sounds brilliant!! Also, sortmylifeout would be good!

Mary - good luck with the test!!

Roxie - nice that you got some baby time. We've just had my 16 month old nephew here for a few days. He's adorable!! (but I didn't mine giving him back!)

Struggling with work - finding it hard to motivate myself!

didn't sleep well last night, then neck started bothering me again. CSS done minus pushups and mtn climbers(neck did not want to do pushups, I didn't want to do mtn climbers, so there!) 1/2 of Core#1 as I have to get into the office, grrrrr...year Ronne, I have NO motivation....I'm worried of catching the bad flu that's been going around, that office is a breeding place and people still come in when they are sick .... irritates me. I'm wanting IWantA20YrOldBodyAgain app today. :) Jody, guess I didn't know :)

Good Morning,

Today for me is Chest, Back and Shoulders using the XTrain workout and CK25week 2 day 1 and I would love to sneak in a stretch but I have to unpack one of those forgot to leave one out. DH and I got into a huge fight about moving, renting, selling it was a nightmare and still we have no answers.

Lisa-passing you get away virus thoughts and I like your last app.

Ronne-I want your app to it would make my life so much simpler.

Jody-anxiously awaiting your news.

Hello

Roxie - sorry to hear about your row. Sounds like you're both under a lot of pressure at the moment. Thinking of you ...

Lisa - Actually I don't want that app as I do think I'm in better shape now. Hope the neck kinks have worked themselves out. I hate things like that. Nice to see you 'fessing up to missing out bits of CSS - it's reassuring!!

Did KCM SS Legs. I think my thighs have spread a bit - jeans feeling tighter than they were. I think I need weights more than anything else really - need to tighten everything up again. Just about settling back into work now.

Good Morning,

Its weird its a week day and I am not working, Tuesday and Thursday are now my days off. I tried to get on the website last night to report my workouts but the site was working and I am trying to mark my workout complete in the workout manager and it still isn't working. I did XTrain Chest, Back, and shoulders and I couldn't go as heavy as Cathe but man I was feeling it. I really like this workout then I did CK25 Week 2 Day 1 run 1.5 minutes walk 2 minutes for 30 minutes total. Today is Cardio Leg Blast.

Ronne-thank you we just don't know what to do. I noticed this morning I am getting smaller then I was can't wait for my size 4 jeans to get here.

Hard Strikes today, used 1/2 lb gloves, much more doable. Also did jacks with arms straight up/down like she does in MMA Heavy Bag w/o. My arms just felt weird doing normal way with weighted gloves. Not sure what to make of the compound section, like that there is core work at the end. I did the 5 situps/pushups more as 5 situps/planks, seemed to work better for me as well. I'm starting to accept that I may need to modify more as I advance in age.

Ronne, I may be fitter, but not skinnier than I was when I was 20. I was referring to wanting more the energy of my 20 yr old self (note I've been feeling exhausted, I think my hormones are in a big swing as I've entered the not sleeping phase again).

Roxie, congrats on size 4, that's only in my dreams! I never go as heavy as Cathe with chest.

Oh, I like to see that Cedie is modifying on the w/o today. The plie/jump/bring feet together in air she does them like I do most days. Plie/jump with no bringing together. Today I did a variation of Plie, jump/bring together but touchdown with a slight jump (hope that makes sense). I didn't plan it, my body just did it.

I just finished CLB and may I say that workout is killer I wanted to stop half way in but made myself continue I burned 476 calories.

Lisa-Hard Strikes Premix 16 is what is on schedule for me tomarrow. I am liking this program so far.

Hi girls! Couldn't get into the site yesterday, that's why I didn't show up! I did burn sets for CB&S, enjoyed it a lot! I'm sore today! Cathe amazed me with 35lb dumbells! Needless to say I used much lighter! Roxie, moving is one of life's most stressful events. I hope all is going well. Enjoy your day off! Lisa, what a good idea to do planks instead of pushups! I'm going to try that next time! I tried the other day and then just said (ready?). "fluff it"! Ronne, what magical vacation plans are you coming up with for this year? Jody, can you tell us yet? Hi Murphy! Well, I took my math test! I got a hundred! So relieved! DH was making fun of me for studying, I needed to tho! Not sure what workout will do today, have a good day! Mary

Mary, I have a problem just lifting up 25 lb dumbbells, I could never imagine 35 lb! I think I might knock myself out or as I picked them up my arms would fall down to the floor! When the kids were little we used "fluff" for a different f word :) One you shouldn't get fired for :) What would happen if you failed? Would you get another shot at the test? We have a lot of "classes" to take at work, you watch a video then you have to pass a test....you have unlimited attempts....I skip the video, answer the questions while writing down the answer (it gives you the correct answer if you get it wrong). That works most times, one time they kept changing the order of the answers (took me a couple times thru to notice), had to take more detailed notes :) Yep, that's how I roll with work tests! Now the HIPPA test I think I couldn't do that with (no unlimited attempts)....yea, just because I support the database for a health care account i still had to take the HIPPA test.

So I did 1.5 miles on elip...I'm trying to incorporate more movement thru the day. Hoping to do 100 rep for bi/tri and maybe the xtrain bi/tri w/o.....dh is out of town, so I have more ME time and ME needs a lot of attention!

I did the 100 rep challenge for both bi and tri (tri was harder than bi), then I did xtrain bi/tri, my arms are spent! I'm hoping I sleep good tonight so I may not get my w/o in in the morning, that's the reason for the double w/o today.
