40's - week 8/12/12

Murphy, I can never remember all the details of the w/o's, even when I'm doing them and I try to remember for later....sigh....I think that's a sign of the big M too....welcome to the group!

Good Morning,

PT whipped my butt good we did upper body with a 30lb barbell which I would have never done and 15lb dumbbells then I did the stationary bike for 30mins. Tonite is the elliptical I really wanted to get up and go to spin class but I just couldn't do it, we slept with the windows open and it was nice and cool the covers felt good. PT said the 3 sessions for 99.00 was 1 hour sessions I don't know if I could handle and hour with her but I feel like I got a better bargain.

Lisa-you are so funny.

Mary-didn't you just go through the closets not to long ago.

Jody-I can picture you with your sexy body in that outfit.
 
Hi girls! Today did B&G, a premix that I thought would never end! I thought the DVD player was on repeat! Roxie, so did you sign up for more sessions? That's Murphy cleaning closets! Jody, when do you go back to class? Lisa, is DS home yet? Murphy, will both your girls be in school now? Won't be around this weekend, going to beach house for the race, I will see you all on Monday, hope you have a good weekend! Mary
 
Low Max done and some abs from sts no equp (about 8 min). I'd like to catch up a little more but an hour of working out will be enough. Off to visit my mom today.
 
Lisa - I just saw that story about the dog left on the mountain (Missy?). Yahoo had it.

Jody - what did you think of LoMax? A few people were talking about it at the road trip and recommended it.

Cute, Lisa!
I like Low Max. It was one of the first Cathe's I purchased. Basically an hour long step broken up into 7 sections and each section is step and a step/leg intensive blast. Some of the step was a little tricky at first since I was just learning Cathe (123mambo off the front and back of the step). Doing half of it is a very respectable workout, imo.
I fell off the food sobriety wagon this eve at Chinese buffet with some fried foods and dessert. Oh well. I understand tomorrow is a new day.
I'm headed to Dad's for the weekend. He will be happy to see us without having to fix anything! Oh wait, dd taking her laptop for him to look at....
 
Jody, I typically only do 4 of the 7 of the LM intervals. I'm STILL off the food wagon, celebrating my birthday out tonight with DS and DIL (Mary DS just got back, they wanted him to stay longer to be a gopher but he wanted to come back since his part is done, can't say I blame him). He has an interview next week at another company. DH will start traveling again, maybe I can get back on food wagon, I must, my pants are starting to fit tighter!
 
Finished CSS and an Ab Circuits ab. I had to skip some of the mountain climbers and push-ups. I am glad it is a short one, 41 min. I messed up on the rotation and did some discs out of order. I was wondering why she had us working certain body parts back to back. Oh well. Tomorrow is rest or yoga so it should even out.

Lisa - Happy Birthday to you! Have fun with the DS and DIL.

I did Imax2 today. I weighed myself, um, about 7 lbs up...hoping some is water as I feel a bit puffy for some reason....maybe all the restaurant food celebrating my birthday for many days this month....it has been a birthday festival! Now I need to buckle down!

We are going to go buy The Hunger Games and watch this weekend, can't wait.

I went to the gym this morning and did the wt machines and then I came home and started cleaning house before DH and I went to see Hope Springs which is a very cute movie.
