40s staying healthy, week of 12/6/10

Hi all

Mary - have a great trip. Hope you have loads of fun.

Murphy - BC is one of my all time favourites. ME is tough - see what you think.

Lisa - well done on the workout! Keep easing yourself in gradually.

DH has been off work all week with some kind of cough/chest infection. He went back to work today and came back after an hour as he felt ill! I think he's got something like you've got Lisa.

I was sensible today, did some Pilates. Lots of core work and not much else. It's going to be a busy weekend. School fair tomorrow and I'm helping out. Then we've got friends coming over for dinner so I've got to do some preparation tonight and house cleaning tomorrow.

Yea, another workout! I did 4DS Legs/Calves weight work only. I feel a little weak but getting better.

Ronne, this virus that is going around here is AWFUL! I hope it didn't make it across the ocean !

Mary, enjoy your trip, I hope to make up for your workouts!

Murphy, I don't like the leg work in ME (too many leg presses for me), the bicep section is tough (and you would never guess it).

I have some UB DOMS---expected after my hiatus. Oh, and DS21 is taking Yoga next semester, he needs one more gym credit and that is the only one he can get into. I'd love to be a fly on the wall :)
