40's Hot in October 10/7/12

Did anyone notice that one of those pics from the new dvd's showed 4 risers? I immediately thought of the HiiT workouts.

Roxie - glad to hear the interview went well. Sending good vibes. I hope you feel better too.
Lisa - I hope the skin heals fast. Sending good vibes to you too.
Ronne - I thought you said something about the furnace. Maybe it was someone else.??? Have a safe trip.
Jody - Intensity is on my list for tomorrow. I'll let you know how it goes.
Mary - the alarm goes off at 4:45. I try to be out of bed close to 5:00 on those mornings I don't want to get up (most mornings).

Good Morning,

Tonite is the elliptical then CLX Burn Circuit 2 plus some abs and maybe a stretch. I am feeling much better today my head isn't as full and I don't feel like I have snot in my throat.

Murphy-it was probably me on the furnance we turned ours on last weekend.
 
I woke up late so did a quickie (HIIT 30/30). I slept a blissful 10 hrs last night. I did most of the dusting yesterday (at least the rooms I care about), today I hope to clean the kitchen granite good.

Roxie, glad you are feeling better.

Mary, I'd never judge you on your dinner menu! You are too cute though!
 
Hi all! Today did CLX burn circuit 2, it was all right. Roxie, glad you are feeling better. Those first few days of a cold are always bad! Anything about the interview? Lisa, are you going to hire another cleaning person? What if you went with a company, then you could complain! The other day you asked if the kids still will walk with us, They do! They will even hold my hand, sit with us at the football games and tell us they love us in front of their friends! I remember not wanting to be with my folks at that age! Weird, but I'm taking it! Murphy, you get up before the birds! I don't think I could do that early! I get up at 5:30, only because I have to get the kids up at 6:15 to shower, that means I have to be ready before they are so they can shower. Jody, hope you are having a good day, I think it's your long one! Hope everyone has a good day, have to start the car running with band and cross country, Mary
 
Mary-he is filling out all the paperwork and then he has to take a drug test so in 10 days he should have another job and he will be back to not being home as much but its a job and I seem to get more done when he is not there.

Mary, I love chipotle's bowl veggie thingys. My kids are pretty close? cuddly? affectionate? too.
Roxie, too bad for hubs on the travel, but congrats on the quick recovery. I enjoy a spouse who isn't home all the time. lol.
Lisa, every time I do a hiit I think I should do them more often, those are goodies. We cleaned here too and my pest guy came for persistent ants.
Yeah, Murphy, did you do Intensity? I must fudge it a lot, or maybe I just do a short version of it.
Lisa, back to you, congrats on sleep and wt loss!
Mary, again, my dental hygienist just showed my how close our sinuses are to our teeth and how it can cause pain when you have sinus, so it was interesting to me that you mentioned it, i didn't realize.
I'm doing the "happy cuz- I- got the best grade in the class" dance again, I feel bad for my classmates, tho, a lot of the stuff just isn't covered in lecture and they have no idea what to study.
 
Okay, who started the Intensity madness? I did 90% of it. I took a break after 20 minutes and then good not get my footing back - all that around the world and etc. always confuses me. So, I skipped and modified about 10 minutes worth but finished the rest of it. I could have sworn there were weights in it. I must be confused or maybe it is in the bootcamp portion which is what I usually do.

Good Morning,

I did make it to the gym to do the elliptical but I didn't get wts done so I will have to make them up tonite and then tomarrow I will do todays workout so I will be 1 day behind but I plan on getting them all done. I found out that we still insurance for just a little bit longer so I have a dentist appt today at 12:30 because that tooth is really hurting.

Got up late, again (was awake in middle of the night), been running around trying to work from home, do my w/o, eat, etc. I did STS Meso2 Week1 back/bi. Work is crazy, from home is nice but still doesn't make the people any smarter, whoops, did I saaaay that?

Jody, spill all the details, competition is good. I suck at stretching, and not much better at cardio, but weights baby, I'm all on it! :)

Roxie, good you are getting tooth fixed. Will DH travel with this new job? or is it that you are glad he won't be home all the time?

Murphy, hmmmm, forget who started the INtensity convo. I think Ronne, yea, let's blame Ronne since she isn't here to defend herself! lol

Mary, I'm sticking with cleaning the house myself, with only DH and me here, it hardly needs much cleaning (once the initial catch back up cleaning).

Hi everyone! Quick post, LOTS of running today! Did pure barre, mainly because I don't like it, so it must be good for me! Roxie, good luck with toothe, glad you are going. Tx for the congrats. Actually, I will beat myself up if I don't score high. My classmates are going to have to study the textbook if they want to do well. They have about 50 percent attrition in this program, I can see why.
I did make it out for a run this eve, it was coolish or at least not hot and it felt easy.
Lisa, since you asked, 2 risers and max intensity but I ff during the thigh band oblique thingy. : )
Mary, is this your life for the next 3 months? It sounds busier than last year.
Murphy, I think time of day impacts my workout levels. First thing in the morning? tough for me.
Roxie, I'm glad you are getting your tooth taken care of. My dentist pointed out that our teeth give out before we do, we sort of out live them.
 
Quick post. kids are up early and DH is getting annoyed. It is too early in the morning for yelling (6 am). Did 1/2 of a DM premix - cardio scramble. I don't think I will do it again, just not for me. You can see how the technology has allowed the dvd's to smoothly transition versus go to a cut screen and then the next scene. Gotta g. TTYL

Good Morning,

No workout again last night DH wanted to do some more errands and wanted me to go along, I really need to start getting up in the mornings. I have been doing random core exercises until the bosses get here hope to do a total of 200 crunches before the day is out. Tonite I am going to do CLX Burn 2 then DH and I are going out to see GS.

Murphy-yelling at 6 am is just not allowed.
 
Actually got up early, did STS meso2,wk1, legs. Love those trisets! after the 2nd round, I realized that I was using more weight than Cathe on the one leg elevated lunges....I thought my sheet said 2 weights 15lbs, then I noticed Cathe using one 20 lb. That's what I get for being half asleep. I decided I did the first 2 sets with 2x15 so I continued the 3rd set the same.

Jody, did you know the guideline is that for every mile in elevation you drop down a riser ?:p so your 2 is my 1? lol

Murphy, 6am IS too early for yelling. I think you need to get some aggression out with some punching (preferably not on DH).

Roxie, I can see you in the office, getting in some crunches before anyone gets in. It would never work at my office (huge open space of 400 desks...kid you not....and mine is right where the elevator opens up --- lots of lazy people ride the elevator and are LOUD).

Mary, you sure have a full plate of activities! Today is 1/2 day off for me, then going shopping. Getting a panini press, some things at whole foods, and slippers with my $10 coupon at Kohls. Nothing too exciting. And lunch out with DH somewhere. I'm trying to cake on the makeup to cover my lasered area, it's getting better, now instead of a solid 1 inch x .5 inch black purple, it's a red color....like a really bad birthmark. Will be interesting to see if it made a difference after it all heals.

I finally did Burn Circuit 2 before we visited GS who was fussy like normal.

Mary-I need a root canal but I don't have insurance but I do have and antibiotic and pain pills.
 
Just finished ME. I cannot remember the last time I did that one. BC is on the agenda for tomorrow. That has way too much jumping in it for me. Let's see how it goes. Not much happening. Waves to everyone!

Major DOMS in my quads, I had some awesome form on my squats yesterday (somehow I had a surge in energy), today, not so much energy, did MMA Boxing (I like how it works the core), then 1.5 miles on elip while I played around with the Spotify app (I had only planned to do 1 mile).

Murphy, I only do the UB of ME, can't stand all those leg presses!

Roxie, I hope you are able to get your root canal fixed sooner than later!

Mary, still been chilly here. I had to wear closed toe shoes yesterday (my inner FL girl prefers flip-flops!)
