Hi everyone

An expletive free post from me today! Everything working normally again thank goodness. Going to take the Christmas decorations down tonight. They're looking a bit tired! (Aren't we all? :p) Was supposed to do yoga today but not sure I'll fit it in. Will try to do some over the weekend before starting the Jan rotation on Mon.

Lisa - ssh don't let anyone hear you say that you're bored ... Does that temp mean you haven't got any snow now?

Jody - there are some benefits to getting older, aren't there?

Mary - I'm like you - no way I could work out in the morning.

Today was disc 3, legs. I could have gone heavier, but chose not to - my knees are still a bit achy with this weather. I had to pull-out the leg warmers to keep my legs (and especially knees) extra warm - actually just warm, the wind bites right through you.

Lisa - I forgot how tired STS makes you - and more hungry too. :)

Ronne - what do you think of the new series? Have you tried everything?

Hi girls, well, I'm having a pity party. I haven't slept well ALL week (awake from 1 to 3 or 4), hot flashes, night sweats, lack of energy, mind numbness (lack of sleep isn't helping). So I really gave BM2 timesaver premix a go, got through the combined step combo (repeat), then got to the blasts, remember, no energy, picked this because my mind is numb and I can do in my sleep, got through 2 blasts (with pausing), then a total meltdown in blast 3, stopped, sat down, and cried for a min, tried to continue and it just wasn't in me. skipped to stretch, cried a bit more. I swear I have every symptom under the sun. DH is feeling bad for me, let me cry some more, of course he feels helpless (as do I). I do not want to go the hormone route and just trying to pamper myself during these times. I'm working from home today (I deserve it, this is like being sick in my opinion). OK, I think that's it, pity party over. I'll be back in a bit if I can ever get my brain to think clearly to post personals.
 
Hi girls! Today did STS disc 6, legs. Just because I thought, I bought those, I should use them! Lisa, I'm sorry. I'm sure it is the not sleeping that has you feeling so bad. Sleep is so important. You need to be good to yourself. I hope the sleep fairy comes to you tonite! Murphy, you should start to get a little warmer soon, it is in the 50's here! I will blow it your way! Ronne, glad to hear things are working better for you! Jody, I'm not very good at ironing, my mom tried to domesticate me! She still irons my dad's shirts! Roxie, did you sleep in again? I'm back to continue my pity party (now that i can remember what else there was). In my tossing/turning/night sweats/reading to try to get back to sleep last night, I guess I took a blanket and threw it over DH's face, he said he woke up wondering why he couldn't breathe very well. I think at that point he knew I was going thru a bad time (gosh these guys can be so in tune with us after yrs of marriage). Also the last 2 days have been HORRIBLE hair days, either I jinxed myself on that one good hair day or more likely I used products incorrectly because I continually FORGET things. Plus maybe my hair wanted to be at work about as much as I did :)

Whew, vent over, maybe I'll feel better, if only I could sleep now!

Ronne, 70 is very warm, the city did get lot of snow in Dec (it's all gone now...it melts in the city very fast), thing is the mountains have hardly had any snow and warmer than usual temps. If only we used the metric system it would be easier to understand :) Ya, I remember in school they were teaching us the metric system because we were going to convert....yea, that went no where!

Mary, it feels so hopeless sometimes. It's either deal with it or do some time of hormone therapy which also isn't a cure all (still will have lots of issues until/if the right mixture is found). I literally had sweat rolling off of me yesterday after a stroll (.75 miles around the office....maybe at 3mph). I had to wipe sweat off my neck and my hair was wet. Then the on/off covers last night I'm about ready to shoot myself.

Murphy, I've been more hungry too, I did do GS CT and BSB and attributed it to that...but my body is in turmoil so i have no clue what is up right now, sigh.

Jody, it's awesome when you do something that you never thought you could do before!

Roxie, bet you all have less snow this yr too? seems most of the country does.

I can't iron, I think I iron in more wrinkles than I take out!

Murphy, I previewed that step section from CSS u said wore you out, it looked pretty intense!

Mary, it is going to take me a while to get thru all the Cathe I haven't done!

I did CW step and compound wts today rather than the full tamale. I had fun with it and didn't think it was too different than just the step only. I need to get ME in this weekend to really have fun thru Intensity. I can feel PUB and PLB still, but I will be good to go for it by tomorrow.

Lisa, I reconsidered not giving advice, ha ha...how about long, lower intensity cardio (like a strong walk or hike) when you are feeling tired and wrung out? It might help the mind and body.

Kids going to friends (bfftwins) tonight so I will hopefully enjoy house to myself.

Today was yoga max. I am not feeling the love on this one. I think it is all the downward dogs. I like the stretch it gives me, but after the 100th donward dog, I am good. I may give yoga relax another try but I think I will hold off on the max for a bit.

Lisa- sorry to hear about everything. If it means anything, I cry and the drop of a hat when I don't get sleep for a few days and suffer the usual stresses of life. I hope things get better soon.

Hi girls! Did P90X plyometrics, trying to change things up! Since this whole business started, I have lost 5 lbs, I think it is just the stress of not knowing! It will be over soon! Lisa, did you get some sleep? I hope so! Murphy, I have done that work out a couple times, I am starting to like the downward dogs. Weird, I know. Roxie, are you going to do KCM for the month? Jody, how was your night alone? Kimmi, are you coming back? Ronne, hope you are having a good weekend. We watched Friends with Benefits last night, very cute! Have a good day all! Mary
 
Wasted my eve, just watched 5 people you meet in heaven (I'd read the book and seen the movie previously), o well.

Completed ME and am wiped out. Maybe I go too heavy for what is supposed to be endurance workout. Anyway, a rarity for me, I worked out for over an hour on wts today. Tomorrow is double dance Sunday.

PS: at one point during ME, a little thought bubble formed over my head reading, "OMG, my forearms are burning" and then Cathe says, "If your forearms are burning, you are going too heavy with your weight."

Mary-I am going to do KCM for the next 2 months following a rotation of hers and then in March I am going to do the LIS rotation again.

Hi everyone, I slept last night! Feel much better. I did JL R&C, then we went to use some gift certificates at the indoor skydiving for the boys. Had a hot flash while I was there (face felt red and looked red), just sitting waiting for the boys turn! The boys had a fun time, they got 2 1 min "flights" each.

Mary, I hope those 5 lbs stay off for you! That kind of weight loss always comes back for me :( I do feel better now that I slept a decent night's sleep. That is so irritating and as much as I try not to stress over it and let it be it doesn't help either, it seems the sleeplessness just has to run it's course.

Jody, I've read that book too, never saw the movie. It was nice just to relax, no?

Roxie, Sounds like a good workout plan, I just can't follow a rotation now a days.

Murphy, I don't do the yoga workouts. I'm not patient enough.
 
Lisa-if I don't follow a rotation I don't seem to workout consistently I am like a lost puppy. I am not a fan of yoga either but I know I need to start stretching more.
