40s - fall is here!

Good Afternoon,

DD had to go to work early so we didn't get our walk in we are going tonite I also need to do BM2 Upper Body premix abs and stretch.

Lisa-the kid behaved himself once he stopped crying. Hes out of the hospital but not back to work not sure what is going to happen.

Murphy-glad your workouts survived.
 
Hi girls! Running around...again! I will have to find something quick today. DH is having his fantasy football draft tonite, so we have 15 people coming over to draft their teams! Serious stuff, this football. Murphy, thank goodness you were able to save the dvd's! I hope it all comes back together soon. Ronne, have fun with your folks, will you all be taking a shower with the sprinkler? Roxie, how did babysitting go? 2 year olds are a handful. Jody, what S&H have you done? I like the chest and back. Ronne, I forgot to add, I like meso 2 the best! Recommend any of those. LIS! Got halfway thru the show last nite. Those 2 are strange! So is Erica, begging that man to sleep with her! Ronne, was thinking of STS individual dvds and I think once you have 1 or 2 weeks from each meso (again subtract meso3 (or only 1 week of meso3 UB), you would basically have enough to get the jist of it. To pick, maybe go look at the workout sheets for each workout and pick the ones that have the exercises you like the best. after 2 weeks of a meso, it's very repetitive. Just some ideas :)

I did BM2 Upper Body/Abs/Stretch then DD and I went for a 3 mile walk at the lake its a beautiful night.
 
I like Roxie's workout, sounds nice.

I've never really done SH but have all 3 of them. It appeals to me as a procrastinator. Do a set, wander around, take notes, etc... but not something I always want to make time for. so this is sort of a good time to do the series since I only want to do about 30 min of w/o /day prior to work at 8 and also am not doing cardio/legs.

ronne, you are gonna be so excited w/ your shower once you get to use it that you will be posting details, lol or at least I would be. OK so first I shampoo'd then did deep conditioner, used fruity body wash, pumice stone on my heels...ha ha, just kidding. Enjoy the family visit.

I've done SH shoulders yest and abs and tri today. Long day- up at 430 and spent much of it interacting with other humans. I'm done but wanted to check in and say hi.
 
Jody, I'll have a long day today, up at 4am. I hate when I do that! Problem is, I go to bed to read and within 5 min I'm asleep, so then I wake up early.

I'm trying to decide between TF 55 EZ or the next UB STS workout. My leg DOMS are bad, like can't lower myself to the toilet seat bad!

Lisa - thanks for the suggestions. I've realised that it's just the mesos that are being sold not the individual disks. Doh! I'll just hold on for low-impact and hope that kickstarts things! Sounds like you're a bit sore today ...

Jody - so are you another early riser like Lisa? Did you say what you do? I can't remember if you did, sorry. I haven't got S&H - it's never really appealed.

Mary - do you disappear when DH's friends come round or are you picking a team as well?

Well, I feel like I shouldn't really be checking in here seeing as I'm doing absolutely nothing still. Won't be doing anything till Mon at the earliest with parents being here. Bathroom should be finished by tomorrow morning and I've bagged first shower!
I was feeling really low yesterday and DH asked if I needed cheering up. So he told me what he's got planned for this weekend. We're going here: 4 star hotel in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire for the night on Sat as it's our wedding anniversary on Sunday. How lucky am I?!
 
Alrighty, I did do TF 55EZ and TF core 20. My left glute is really sore still (yes, it hurts so good).

Ronne, good thing the shower is getting done so that you can smell good for your excursion! YOu can still check in here for the gossip! I'm fresh out of gossip right now though, surprise, surprise!

Jody, did you get doms from S&H?

This cooler weather feels WONDERFUL! 70s are just perfect!

DD and I went for a walk this morning it was cool and pretty. Tonite I will do KCMs KBXing.

Ronne-sounds like a wonderful way to celebrate.

Lisa-I haven't done TF in awhile.

Jody-I haven't done S&H in awhile but I don't mind it so much.
 
so, a few things have happened. 1. I realized that my exercise mats were never cleaned from the flood. They were dried but I never washed off the muck and whatever that was on the bottom of the mats. Great. 2. The storm last night knocked out power and it was still out when I was supposed to exercise. It came back on in time for the kids to fuss that they were scared and come into our bed. Great. 3. The sunroom has flooded again thanks to the latest storms. At least it is not as bad as last time and the basement was dry (as of this morning).

On to some better news. It looks like they should be close to finished authoring (or whatevering) the new dvd's. I thought the authoring was when they did the editing and etc. and had the premixes done with all of the running times. It looks like all of the dvd's have been done. Hopefully I am right and the dvd's are on their way to the replicator soon.

Ronne - we are not planning to claim anything. Thankfully what we lost was not much and it had more sentimental value than actual cost. We had already moved stuff in the sunroom from a previous leak and we moved the important stuff from the basement. If we had not done that, we would have been slightly screwed but majorly annoyed.
 
I agree, Ronne you are lucky girl, what a thoughtful DH! I hope you enjoy to the fullest.

Murph, bummer about more damage. You are peeling back the layers of a hurricane onion. I hope its the end. I agree, not usually worth it to report to home insurance b/c then you are considered a bad risk and run risk of getting dropped and/or rates go thru the roof, but they will anyway most likely if the whole area has had damage. Most people can't even buy homeowners insurance in FL from any of the big companies if you are new homeowner, have to go thru a state insurance.

SH, no I haven't gotten doms from the either of the w/os yet. I was at the upper limit of my ability tho, we'll see. Plus I am not working legs.

Yesterday I did do a short light weights workout which made me feel a bit better.

Murphy - I can understand about the insurance as Jody says. I think it's there not to claim on as you always get punished if you do! Hang on, it's got to get better!

Jody - can you match Cathe in all the weights workouts?

Lisa - STS again today or have you finished for this week?

Mostly I am a little lighter than Cathe or sometimes match her, with more extreme exceptions here and there. Like yesterday, SH chest, she used two 25's and later went to 2 40's and I used a bar at 35 thruout. I think i could have done 40 thruout, but I am limited by equipment and sometimes my shoulder joints want me to be stronger before I heavy up.

Later when she used 15's, I used 12.5's.

Overall, i feel pretty good about my wts since I am really picking up from the beginning after a few years! of no wt training.

Nowadays, I force myself to use much lighter wt for lunges since I hate them and want to work up to doing them with more wt. So I force myself to complete the reps at whatever wt I can, rather than do 3/4 to half of 'em at Cathe wt, then quit (calling her not very nice names), as I used to. Tricep kickbacks same thing. I'll do dips all day long but I hates the tri kbs.

Deadlifts I can go way heavier.

I am sure this is WAY more info than you wanted!
 
I did STS disc 4 (CH/SH/BI). I admit, I skipped some push ups (not even subbing bench press), I was wiped out from upping the weights on the bench presses I did in lieu of pushups (55 lbs, OMG, I was too lazy to change the weight on the olympic bar)

Jody, I don't mind KB, I HATE tricep dips with a passion, and then overhead extension (where you pull the carrot out) I can't match cathe at all. Bench and flys I don't match her either. Those seem to be my weak spots.

Ronne, enjoy your weekend, the hammock and nook book is calling me on Saturday and Sunday DS19 is coming over (I'm sure with his laundry).

I'm pissed today, for the last month of Fridays I've been the only one on my team in the office. I must have missed the memo saying we could work from home (that's me being sarcastic). I swear these people are going to abuse the system and then they will start off shoring the jobs to india or brazil again. Do you think I'm being overly grumpy about this? For me, I know they hired me back because I was LOCAL, had the skills and could come into the office. How can I work from home without permission or a good excuse. I'm so mad I'm going to do nothing all day except read my book on the computer. you'd think I'd feel better after this vent but I don't :(

Mary, I heard Blake and HOlly are now together (read that somewhere).

Murphy, can I come destress with you, I think I need it :)

Good Morning,

I didn't get up this morning and go for a walk couldn't go back to sleep after DH left at 3:00 (he doesn't here his alarm clock), so I told dd I was to tired wish now I would have went feeling very sluggish and fat. Tonite I will do KCM Split Sessions Lower Body suppose to be B&Gs but don't feel up to that one. Tomarrow I have a family reunion out of town and Sunday is MILs birthday and it to is out of town I hate busy weekends ecspecially since its football season.

Ronne-congrats on getting your shower back.

Jody-I can't even come close to Cathes wts. but like Lisa do not like the dips kbs are easier for me and I like the overhead extensions.

Lisa-I read my kindle here at work alittle yesterday and then I showed the boss lady how to set her kindle up that she just got for her birthday. Sucks that everyone else can do their work at home.

Murphy-yoga is something I need to do more hoping the new workouts will help.
 
Ronne, I wish I was drunk :) We say pissed off here too, but I think pissed is acceptable too....lol

Roxie, you need to tell me when you are ready for books (if you are). We can email privately and hopefully it will help you figure it out my way of getting lots of books to the ereader.
