Ronne, the title is just for you! I see you took some of our bugs....you need to take more please!

I'm taking a rest day today again. I felt pretty awful yesterday and don't want any chance of a repeat. Could not get rid of the headache, even after my 2 hr nap still was sick with it, so ended up going to lay in the bedroom (cooler in there) and next thing I was asleep at 8pm, woke up an hour later and just put myself properly to bed. So that's why I woke up at 4am today. That's ok, I'm feeling better so far. My glute is killing me this morning...gets stiff from too much laying around, wish it would just get better.

I'm lost on exactly what everyone is up to, but wishing you all a good day. I know Roxie is boating, Ronne celebrating DD school, Murphy all excited about the RT, Mary is probably at "the beach" but no doubt cleaning something, and Jody where have you been? And yes, it's nice to be able to have grown up conversations with the kids, I'm sure daughters are even better to talk to. I'm slowly feeling a slight role reversal at times, they are so smart and I am so proud of them.

I just finished a Tracie Long dvd. I was not up to a Cathe dvd so went in a different direction. This dvd series focuses on functional training. Like Lisa, I have not been sleeping well. I have not figured out why, but it is driving me crazy. :-(

I hear my assistants. TTYL. Few more days 'til the road trip.

Good Morning,

I walked on the TM here at home this morning. I thought we were going to the lake again today but it doesn't look like that is going to happen we are having problems with lights on the trailer. The bugs are suppose to be really bad here today about 106 of them.

Murphy-sometimes we just have to change things up.

Lisa-glad to hear you are feeling better today.

Hi girls! Today is PS B&B. DH did a duelathlon this am. He did a great joB he came in 18th! Lisa, hope that you get feeling better, it looks like you got beat up bad. Take it easy, let yourself heal. Murphy, it's good to mix it up, you have to be ready for the weekend! Take notes and get ready for a long post so you can give us all the details! Roxie, sorry about the boat, sounds like it would have been a perfect day for it. Ronne, how was dinner? Jody, are you out with the boy? Hi Becky! Today we have DD's band picnic. Tomorrow we are going to hit the zoo. Have to also clean, I'd better get moving! Mary

Hey, I didn't work out for a few days but today I did TBT LB express pm and AB express pm and shoulders only from HR. Lisa, I am glad your surgery is behind you. waves to all~

Good Evening,

We did go out on the boat today and lets just say we spent alot of time in the water which was 86 degrees, now I am tired and I have a migraine so headed to bed in just a little bit.

Mary-good job with your workout.

Jody-sounds like a good workout.

Hi all

Just been catching up with what's been going on.

Lisa - glad the surgery was a success. Take it easy, like Mary says, and give yourself time to heal. I'm going to be even more paranoid about hats on my fair-haired DD this summer!

Roxie - the boat sounds perfect for your 'buggy' weather!

Murphy - yeah, you don't want to 'Cathe' yourself out before Friday!

Jody - nice mash-up!

Mary - congrats to your DH! Sounds like you've had a busy weekend.

Dinner on Friday was lovely - DD is such good company. My parents came over this weekend and DD has gone back with them for a week, so we're all on our own. Planning to get lots of work done. Got TTM on the rotation again today - think I'll try a premix this time!
Oh and the sun is shining!! We're supposed to hit 29 this week, (no idea what that is for you). I actually sat out in our garden last night!!

Well, if F = 1.8 C + 32 then Ronne must be hoping for 84, and Ronne, Roxie has been around 38 + : D
Sorry, I was like, Oh yes, I can do a math problem! rather than think my thoughts today. I took my other dog to emergency vet last night for renal failure, she's gone now too. I had some other crappy news on Fri, too. Bleh. Tired, I may just go for a therapeutic meditative walk today and add a wt/body part.
Enjoy your workouts, stay cool and take care of yourselves~~

Another Tracie Long today. I plan to do the other two in this series and that will take me to Thursday. I am still figuring out what to do Thursday and Friday. Maybe some yoga on Friday - stretch out my muscles before Cathe snaps me in two. :)

Jody - sorry to hear about the doggie and all the bad news. Prayers and hugs out to you.

Ronne - enjoy your week. I bet it will be the fastest week you have ever had. :)

Roxie - glad you enjoyed the boat. I hope the headache is gone.

Lisa - I hope you are letting yourself heal and are feeling better.

Mary - Congrats to your DH.

Waves Becky and anyone I missed.

Good Morning,

I didn't sleep well last night so I couldn't get up to workout and tonite I am going out to DD's old house to help her get it cleaned up so they can get their deposit back. The bugs are suppose to be bad again today. I can still feel myself rocking from the boat yesterday I must have a fluid imbalance in my ears.

Murphy-headache is still hanging in there.

Jody-thanks for the math. Sorry to hear about your dog and other bad news.

Ronne-I wore sunscreen on my face yesterday and a ball cap.

Hello all. I'm on the mend (although my face still looks awful). I did HR UB PM, nice light weights, felt good. My glute is still iffy, seems to be when I don't move enough (like I did over the weekend trying to rest), then it just tightens up. Guess it will just take time and stretching(and you all know how I don't like stretching).

Roxie, Oh no, don't tell me your dizziness may start up again! I get so motion sick, just the thought of a boat rocking can make me lose my cookies :) Boo on the headache, I had a mother of one on Saturday.

Ronne, Yes us Europeans or of European descent (I'm 1/2 German, 1/2 mutt) need to be aware of the sun. I have relatives on both sides with this problem and close relative of Mom. I guess it's showing up sooner than it did with Mom because of my teenage sun worshiping years . I guess it could be worse, right? Will be asking Derm about the sunscreen they sell as I hate the feeling of it for everyday use. DH tells me "Get the good stuff".

Mary, congrats to your DH! That's awesome! Sounds like you are having a busy summer with the kids.

Jody, thanks for the math lesson (I'll still forget in the future). Hugs to you, sent you FB message.

Murphy, Get ready for your Cathe smackdown!

I'm seeing that idiot that shot up the theatre on the TV now, crazy, orange/red dyed hair, such senselessness.....ronne, saw that the story was carried on the networks in Europe too.

I was going to take it easy today but DH was up and said he would work out with me. We did one of the Afterburn premixes (wink) and he kept commenting that Cathe was crazy. He asked me how old she was, do I do this every day and at least two or three times he asked if this was the lady I was going to see this weekend. :) I think this was my favorite workout session. :) He said he would do another session or two with me. I think I will do a HiiT and an STS - he want to do something with weights.

Hi all

Jody - sorry to hear about your dog and that life's a bit crappy at the moment. Hang in there.

Murphy - don't you love it when you can shock people with Cathe?!

Lisa - I use some really nice sun protection for my face (and I use it on my chest as well) which you might like. It's non-greasy and you can wear it under make-up. It's a bit pricey but a little goes a long way. It's called Mac Prep + Prime Face Protect 50.

Roxie - we're a little buggy here today! Nowhere near as much as you but it's great!

Really enjoying the weather - it's probably going to be short-lived, more rain on its way at the end of the week, so this looks like summer for us! Did ME today and got a bit sweaty cos of the heat!

Hi girls! Rest day yesterday, kind of! We went to the zoo and swimming! Lisa, how are you feeling? Are your bruises turning lovely shades of green yet? Jody, I'm sorry. Thinking of you. Ronne, I just saw on the news that it is warm over there and thought of you! Murphy, DH has done 1 Cathe with me over the years, says its too hard! Roxie, hows your head? Hope the vertigo doesn't return. Not sure what I will do today, hope everyone has a good day! Mary

Good Morning,

Well the rocking has finally stopped so I think I am in the clear. My head feels alot better today DD reminded me I probably didn't drink enough while we were on the boat so my headache might have been due to dehydration. My trainer is out of town this week but she sent me some workouts to do so I will be going to the gym tonite and do one of those.

Ronne-they say we are going to get rain here at the end of the week but I will believe it when I see it.

Mary-sounds like you had a good day yesterday.

Did KPC minus the high intensity drills, trying not to do anything too intense yet.

Mary, My eye is almost all shades of the bruise rainbow. Very little green right now, black grape spot under the eye, but the lid, OY, all like a red grape color. Doc must have hit a lot of blood vessles there?

Ronne, my DIL sells MAC! I should ask her to get it for me at her 60-70% discount! I don't wear makeup, I just hate that "feeling" In fact one that I was using, I told DH, I have to wash my fingers, I hate how it feels, imagine how it feels on my face! Then after a few days, my forehead pores must have clogged up because got bumps, not pimples, just not my normal smooth skin! If I can find a moisturizing one I like I'll use it as my moisturizer even though most days I'm not in the sun much (drive to work/home). sigh You are funny, getting sweaty in your "heat", we'll take that "heat" over here!

Roxie, glad the dizziness stopped. We haven't had near the rain we normally do either. Wonder when this weather pattern will change.

Murphy, you are ruthless to your DH. Are you trying to kill him? That's great that you will get away, I bet you are looking forward to it!

Jody, hugs!

We got all our reservations for Niagara done. Free flights, and free rental (we decided to rent because after researching taxis from Buffalo to Canada, was almost as much as renting, especially since we can get the rental free, plus we are staying 4 nights, so if we get bored we aren't tied down). We didn't have enough points for the view we wanted from the hotel so we are paying for that. Staying at the Fallsview Hilton on Canada side in a higher up room so that we can see both falls. Sometimes planning a trip is the hardest part. We are looking forward to it, we want a break but not a big trip, this will be perfect. Not to mention rekindle the fires....hahahaha

Since the bosses are out right at the minute I will explain further. We have mastectomey clients waiting on bras and prothesis since January but there is no money in the business bank account to cover the order therefore I cannot get the product but they don't want me to tell people that but believe me some of them I have and told them where else they can go to get what they need.
