Vilma, 26 pounds! I guess I'll work up to it.
I wanted to let you know that I have the AOS training clinic volume 1 and really like Anthony's instruction. I haven't done the workout; I'm only learning the moves, but his lessons are very clear and easy to understand. He gives the "why" you do things a certain way so it makes sense and I can remember. You may not need it because you're experienced, but being new to KB, it's very helpful for me.
Oddly enough, my 8-year-old DD finds him fascinating. She loves to watch the KB instruction, but I've told her repeatedly that she's not to attempt any of the moves. I can see how you can really hurt yourself if your form isn't good.
Speaking of pounds, I think my daughter's trick-or-treat bag weighed as much as Vilma's kettlebell! She and a friend (and DH) canvased the whole neighborhood -- they were gone for hours! I'm not joking -- I think her bag probably weighs a good 15 pounds. Imagine -- 15 pounds of fat, sugar, artificial coloring, calories... I'm going to have to make
that disappear! (No, NOT by eating it!) And out of all that candy, she didn't have a single Almond Joy, which is what I
would have eaten.
Lisa, I checked out your sugar addiction thread ... I can see why you felt a little beat up. There's another sugar thread up today, so you may want to take a look and see if there's anything helpful in that.
I have been thinking of starting a thread to see if anybody else has had hernia surgery, and how that went. I have a hernia but don't want the surgery because I don't do well with the drugs (anesthesia, anti-nausea, pain), and I'll have to take off exercising for a looooooong time!

Besides that, my family will have to do everything for themselves (scary).
I forgot to mention: I did KPC with DH this morning. He asked if I was even breathing hard (yes, but not as hard as he was!), or sweating. He said I'm in the best shape that I've ever been since he's known me. That made me happy because I tend to see only where I need improvement, not how far I've come!
And he's lost nearly 20 lbs, so I'm proud of him! He'll go back to get his blood tested soon and see if he's out of the danger zone (pre-diabetic).
Okay, gotta run. I hope everybody has a great weekend and don't eat too much of that candy! We've got several more holidays ahead of us!
