Hi, good morning. Today is ME for me because yesterday I did not exercise. I am going to do the 90 minutes premix SB/SJP. I need a hard workout today. :9 :9 .Have a great weekend.

Donna good workout.Finally I have done ME and the 41 premix segments 1,2,3 of SB.Later I will do 30 minutes in my static bike. I am doing the august rotation 2004.It seems perfect to slim down legs and glutes. Have a great weekend everybody.

Good morning Donna and Mariangles! Sonds like you are both getting a good workout. im' still scared of that 90 min premix! i got a great workout yesterday and today is cardio only. i was thinking of c&w step portion or a shorter premix from sb/sjp. The weather here is gross, the kind that makes you want to stain bed and read all day. But, i will workout before i lay around :D i have a feeling i will have to repeat that to myself alot!

Good morning ladies! Talk about weather....its about 28 outside and cloudy, might even snow! We usually don't get much snow so its always fun if it does. I got my Power Half Hour DVD and am doing the arm and ab workout from it today. I did the thigh workout yesterday and liked it. No weights used but next time I'll add some..}( just a different workout but effective and a good alternate from weights.

Sandy....after working out in alot of crosstrainers I agree, the Freddy shoes are the best I have ever used. I'll try to find the link for the ones I got. http://www.usbodyware.com/steptrainer.htm I have the white ones.

Mari....where are you?...I have missed your posts....

Good morning,

Well, don't know if I feel like working out today. Stayed out late last night(I was a good girl}( )and slept in a bit and I really need to get started Christmas shopping. I don't have time to squeeze in a workout this morning-maybe later.

My DH and some of his friends are coming over later help insulate our garage so maybe I can avoid them and workout then.:)

I need to figure out what rotation I will start on Monday. I need something tough to counteract all this holiday snacking!

Mariangeles-WOW-what a workout-you go girl!

Donna-Another tough workout-I loaned my C&W to a friend and got it back from her yesterday. She absolutely loved it. I told her I got it from this website. Oh no, my screenname says my name and now if I complain about her, she may see it and know who I am!;)

Carole-how do you like Power Half Hour-how is it compared to Cathe? Who is the instructor? You're right Mari hasn't been around for a while.

Now you all are doing such great workouts-you may have inspired me....

Hi Wendy...Power Half Hour is good so far. The same instructor (Tony) as P90X. I just wanted something different and maybe shorter to tide me over til Hardcore! I'll try to post back today after I try the other 2 workouts from PHH...I seem to be moving slow myself....I hope you can get in a workout.....:)....Carole
 
Hi everybody,

I did Reebok's Power Blast workout (which is circuit training without weights) and then did abs from MIS. Feel good.:) Gotta run the boys to swimming lessons in just a little while so I have to get myself together. :D

Whew! This morning I did a workout that makes the TimeSaver worth every penny. I used that dvd to program my player to do a SB/KPC combo:
SB warm up, combo 1;
KPC intermediate drills;
SB combo 2;
KPC high intensity drills;
SB combo 3;
KPC core, planks, KPC stretch.

Oooh, this is a great workout. Love it! Had a hoot, and worked hard. If anyone wants to know the title/chapter numbers for this workout, I'd be happy to post them.

I followed the cardio with PS Legs & Abs.

Are we talking weather? My. We've got weather. Glad to see Kingston finally got snow, Laurie. That does seem a bit late. What part of the city do you live in? Are you near the lake/river? I would pay good money for a thin-crust pizza from Wooden Heads.

We got a lot of snow in early October, and had it through to early November. Then things warmed up again, and gradually all the snow melted. We had a very warm 3 weeks, with yesterday getting as high as +11C (52F). Overnight the temps began to drop, and by this evening will be -20C (-4F), and flurries are forecast. That's some change within 24 hours!! On the positive side, this will hopefully put lots of snow on ski slopes. We're spending Christmas in the Rocky Mountains, in Jasper.

Jes, the grass is always, er, whiter on the other side. I would gladly swap climates with you. Your lower body workouts sound quite aggressive. Wowsa! Hey, in place of the high step, you can use a rubbermaid-type stool. You need something sturdy, approximately 15 - 17 inches or so tall (depends on your leg length).

Laurie, I so very sorry to hear about your MIL. Is it operable or treatable? And I am freakishly impressed that she was able to do headstands at 74 years of age!! Enjoy your early Christmas.

Lisa, what did/do you have planned for today?

Sandy, enjoy all the Christmas shopping and preparing.

Wendy, maybe instead of trying to get caught up with all the SH workouts, why not just do PUB? I think it works just as good, in much less time :)

20 minutes elliptical
30 minutes treadmill w/ interval incline
10 minute stretch

I see I'm going to have to work hard to get up to your level....
great workouts you guys are doing!!

Sandy, you are right about the DVD's, that is the way I will go.

Today is HSTA...can't wait to do it, haven't done it in so long!! Afterwards I might tack on something else, depending on how I feel}( !!

Mariangeles...that is a hell of a workout!! You are so inspiring:D

Carole...those are the same exact shoes I have in black!! I wanted them in white but there was that problem so I got the substitution which were the high impact trainers...I love the way they feel but I like the look of the other shoe better:+ ! But it's a freddy shoe and I'll use it till it dies}( !!

Laurie...sorry to hear about your MIL...she sounds like such an impressive woman..headstands at any age is an accomplishment but at 74 is just mindblowing! Is there anything that can be done for her at this point??

Suzanne you are inspiring me to take out my bryan kest videos!!

Sandra...I'll be doing your workout tomorrow:p but I will do the combos all at once then the KPC portion...i will tack on the ME lower body premix if I have the zip!!

Annette....how does Reebok Power Blast compare to Cathe's cardio??

Sandy...I was tempted to get the black!!! Not that the color matters as the shoe is great anyway...:)

Sandra...sounds like a great Timesaver workout...I might have to try it. But then PS Legs & Abs....WOW....very impressive...:7

Laurie....My prayers for your MIL...My Dad did suffer from Alzheimers the last 2 years of his life. He has been gone 7 years and Football season is the hardest time for me as we watched ALOT of games together...

I did PHH abs so far. I really liked it as they do alot of standing ab work too. The Arm toner is next....:)...Carole
 
Hi again. Laurie my prayers and the best wishes are wih you. Annete I have the video reebok the step and I don't like it. I don't like the sound of the drums over and over again .Boring. I like aerostep and reebok intense moves. Sandra I have to try this workout. Sandy thank you .My workout is done.Today I have done ME, the 41 minutes premix SB in the morning and I have just finished yet the 41 minutes premix SJP hi/low and step, the KPC abs and the abs of PUB. Hooow.I have survived. I have to do 30 minutes in my stationary bike. I have an answer: ¿I will able to move my legs tomorrow? Tomorrow is IMAX 2. :9 :9 .I can not wait.
 
Carole, this is a Lisa Gaylord tape(she is the instructor) and it isn't Cathe, but for variety it is good. I don't particularly care for the warm up and cooldown but the cardio itself is very basic, jumprope, pedullum, jumping jacks, what she calls the running man, ballet steps and lots and lots of plyo moves and airborne moves. The circuit part is unweighted squats, lunges, plie squats and the skiers lunge. Plus after all that there are kicking drills and arm drills and then some floor work with planks and pushups. I skipped that today and did MIS abs instead. Kinda like callistenics for the cardio no movement side to side, most of the movement is in the "weighted" work (again with no weights). She not Cathe but I like it for something different. It is only available on VHS you can't get it in DVD form.

Hi Nancy....Power Half Hour is another workout DVD by Beachbody, the creators of P90X...I did the Arm toner and really liked it...hits all the upper body muscles in 30 min. All the workouts are 30 min. Abs, Thighs, Arms, Butt, Stretch....:)...Carole
