30 minute cardio premixes?

Does anyone know off the top of your head some good 30 minute premixes (not including the warmup) that would be good for a 4/5 - day split rotation? I am doing Barry's for weight work but his cardio just slays me. I'd like to sub some Cathe for cardio. Don't have CTX. Anyone have anything in mind before I go digging?

imax 2 and imax 3 have premixes in that time range, and C&W all step premix is around there, too. i'm sure there are more, but that's all i can think of right now!

I've done the KPC Cardio Conditioning Premix (I think it's 37 minutes with the warm-up) and Basic Step on an 8" step. I'll be watching this thread to see what other responses you get since I'd like to sub in more Cathe cardio as well.

I tend to do the Drill Max cardio premixes quite a bit, but I think the Cardio Blast runs about 40 minutes. You could always skip one of the chapters to shorten it, though - I do this with the Scrambled premix all the time (I don't like the step cycle).

My fav is Body Max 2 warm-up and combos 1, 2, and 3 is about 38 minutes or so.

Also, I believe the premixes in Low Max are about that long.

CTX Series!!!

Tess:

You need the CTX Series! It is a jewel! You know you want it! I love all the cardio segments, and Leaner Legs is one of my favorite lower body workouts of all time.

The IMAX3 step only premix is fun! IMAX2, IMAX3, and Low Max have premixes for the first half and the second half of the workout. You can also create your own premix with your favorite combinations from any of Cathe’s step workouts. I also love the Kick Max warm-up and blast challenge and the Kick, Punch, & Crunch cardio conditioning premix. Step, Jump, & Pump has shorter cardio premixes too.

Blessings,
Heather B.

RE: CTX Series!!!

Hi Tess,

I forgot if you've said you have Timesaver or not. If you do that's a good one to use. Even if you don't, I think all of the Body Blast DVDs have short cardio premixes.

If you have Low Max, there are several premixes you can do.
Intervals 1-4, Intervals 4-7, step only, and blasts only. I love all of them! I wish Cathe would make a Low Max 2.

Chocolate IS the answer, regardless of the question.:)

It's not a premix, but the step portion of MIC is easy to get to on the menu, and it's about 30 minutes long. If you do it after weights (I did this the other day), you probably don't need a warm-up, but if you would do it first, you might want to start out with a cardio warm-up.

A nice 30 min option is to do Rhythmic Step warm up, combo #1, challenge, and cooldown/stretch. *Warning*: this is only wise to attempt if you've done the full workout ad nauseum and know how she puts all the combos together.

Thanks Tess. I was wondering this myself. I've used the bootcamp blast only premix (I think you have to go through it twice to get 30 minutes). Also, the Step, Jump, Pump interval premix might work. I haven't checked cardio fusion, but I wonder if there's a 30 minute premix on there.

You must get the CTX! It is my go-to when timed crunched, or on those days that 60 minutes of cardio just feels ridiculous! It is worth every penny, probably the overall best workouts Cathe has done yet-in my humble opinion.
