3 Month Challenge Check-in oct 24-31

HI Everyone,
Its been pretty quiet around here lately.I've been kept going myself.
I had a pretty good weekend.We went out for a few drinks and some pub food friday night.I won't tell you what I actually ate but when I got in bed I had bit of a bad belly.:-( My own fault. Yesterday was o.k but then last night DH ordered pizza.I picked off all of the salami and peperoni, so it was mainly bread and a little bit of cheese.I went to bed hungry though, which was great.I see results faster if I go to bed hungry.
Non the less, the scale was down today.:) I can go anywhere from 130-134.Its a digital scale so it seems like it will tell you whatever.I think it is pretty on with the Drs scales though.Anywaaayyyyyy,today I was 129! If I can get below 129 then I will know I am actually losing. I thought it was going to be higher b/c of all the junk I ate this weekend.
I have decided that I am going to eat the BFL way.I won't be able to follow the program to a "T" b/c I work early mornings and I will do long runs instead of the runs in his book.I have always felt good when I ate 6 small meals a day.I always had energy,not very hungry(normally)and I just felt better in general.
Workout today is going to be a run, and either UB or LB.

Hi everyone,

I finished the Timesaver DVD as planned, although I had to lighten up a bit today on workout 5 (the Leg workout) as I have a cold and am not quite up for lifting my normal weight.

Next week I'd like to get in 6 workouts. My plan is to do 2 circuit workouts (I'll try out my Janis Saffell Hardcore Kickbox Circuit DVD), 1 upper body workout (probably CTX upper), 1 lower body workout (probably Leaner Legs), and 2 pure cardio workouts. We'll see if the body and my cold cooperate.

Had an okay week with eating. I lose my appetite when I'm sick so I didn't eat that much but when I did eat I went for what I thought would taste good rather than what was healthier for me.

Hi Sabine,
Theres nothing worse then having a super busy week.You never get any time for yourself.My whole summer was like that! I was so tired at the end of the summer.
I went to the grocery store yesterday and filled up on all of the things I will need.I also got a note book to write down everything that I eat.
My SIL called last night and wanted me to take her 3 kids today.I don't mind but now I have 4 kids:eek: I have to keep an eye on them and workout.Its not to bad though b/c they are 10 and 8 year olds.
I think today will be an UB day and a cardio.I don't think I will be running today.

Hows everyone do'in? Are we dying out already?:-(
Yesterday was a good eating day for me.I am following BFL (best I can) and I am very hungry now.Its more of a nibbling feeling.I think its more in my head then my belly!
I was trying to decide if I was going to workout now or after dinner.I think I will wait until later.I don't really have enough time or energy right now.
I did BM cardio and UB yesterday.I didn't have it in me to do the circuit part.Today I am going to do IMAX 2 and maybe then I will do the circuit part of BM.
Anyway,I hope everyone is just busy and aren't bailing on me!

Hi everyone,

I'm continuing to grapple with my cold so my workouts have been difficult to get through. But I've been keeping up and here's what I've been up to for the past few days.

Monday- Janis Saffell's Hardcore Kickbox Circuit. Very fun workout! Surprisingly intense even though no jump kicks etc. Can't wait to do this one again.
Tuesday- CIA 9902 Andre Houle's Step Workout. Pretty fun and pretty low impact, which my knees always appreciate.

Have CTX Upper Body on tap for tomorrow. Hopefully I won't have to drop down too much in weight. But I have to listen to my body and adapt accordingly.

Hey ladies. I've been slacking off lately and need a swift kick in the rear LOL The weekends are always bad for me so I'm hoping that I have a good week (foodwise). Yesterday I did Supersets and a walk and today I did a walk, a chapter from Abhits and I'm not sure what I'm going to do tonight. I'm thinking KPC???

Last week I lost .5 lbs, so that's a total of 3.5lbs. Still have such a long way to go. {{SIGH}}

Just enjoying my coffee before Imax2 and Legs! I am not sure what leg workout I am going to do yet though.Thinking L&G.
Well,a not so interesting week. I own a digital scale and I know I shouldn't weigh myself everyday but sometimes I will do it for fun.I have weighed myself today,for the last time this week! Sunday -129,Mon 129.5,Tues 130,Wed 130.5! What in Gods name is up with this! I have been eating 100% better and I haven't done much weight work either.I am trying to keep it clear in my mind that I feel better and TTOM is comming this weekend! Maybe not,maybe I am pregnat and I am gaining like I mad women! I am hoping that I will see a dip in my numbers soon.If I stay at the same weight while eating healthy,whats the point?Its just as well that I eat all the naughty things if nothings going to change.;)
Sabine-Do you own alot of CIA workouts? I have ordered them in the past but I have to say that I didn't enjoy them.I didn't enjoy them b/c I don't like not knowing whats comming up next.I never gave myself time to get use to them.Thats another reason why I love Cathe so much.When you buy a new workout it never takes long to get use to it b/c there is always something familiar in them. I hope your cold soon leaves.Theres nothing worse then feeling miserable(unless you own a digital scale to:p )
Dana-Glad to hear from you.Thought you had forsaken us!Weekends are usually bad for me as well.We got into staying at home for a while but we have been going out lately.This weekend DH wants to go out and dress up(Halloween).Next weekend is another party at work! They have already decdied what we are going to eat and its not good!
Anyway, I should get ready to workout.I could sit here all morning and whine. I just remember the days when I wanted to drop 5 lbs, I could lose it so quickly,I guess everything is starting to change already.Im only 26! Oh....whats in store for me?

Hi Girls,
All though I am sure you will notice, there is a two month challenge started.It goes till the New Year, do you guys want to join that one and forsake this one? Its technically the samething b/c this one was until the new year.There are a few more ladies signed up for that one.I figured it could be more motivating.Just wanted to let you know...or we could just stay here.

Hi Lori. I need all the help that I can get. LOL This week has been terrible - weighed myself this am and I gained 1.5 lbs. My husband disconnected the DVD player as well. Story is: we have a tv in the living room and then upstairs where I workout a tv & DVD player. Well DH bought a Playstation 2 and when it wouldn't work on the tv downstairs, he switched tv's and now the DVD player will not work on the TV in the bedroom. I only got in 2 workouts this week. :-( I told him that if he DOES NOT fix it today, then I am moving all my workout equip down to the living room.

As for the other challenge, I'm game for either. I just need the motivation b/c I feel like I'm falling behind instead of progressing. ARHH!!!
 
Thats why I figured we could join the two challenges together.I figure more people,more motivation.For me atleast.
I use to have the same problem with workout space.But DH moved all of my belongings into the laundry room and set up the t.v and vcr.I think I am going to get a DVD player for christmas to use in there.If I threatened to move everything into the living room,my DH would have it set up in a second.
