Ran 3 1/2 miles for the first time since the birth of my son
Didn't eat the donuts that were staring me in the face after I returned from my run (BIG victory)
My wonderful, sweet, loving and amazing husband cleaned both of the bathrooms while I was running. What a man!!!

1. My week of rest ended yesterday. My workouts resume today. Ouch!}(
2. I'm reading "The Bitch in the House: 26 Women Tell the Truth About Sex, Solitude, Work, Motherhood, and Marriage" edited by Cathi Hanauer and what a relief it is to find out that there are so many women out there who feel/think/see things the way I do and are not afraid or ashamed to write about their issues.
3. It's that time of month and I'm NOT breaking out.

Pinky

Hey Everyone! I really enjoyed reading what you all are happy/ thankful for. It inspired me to join in! Today, I am thankful that:
1. We got home safely from a 4 hour car trip
2. I was more patient with my mother in law
3. I'm looking foward to working out later, I am hoping to get a burst of energy soon!
Ooooo Its SPRING!!! YIPEE!!!

Have a great day everyone! :) -Tina

1. Our entire family was outside doing yardwork while enjoying the nice warm weather for a change. I actually got sunburn. Wow, and just last week it felt like Alaska weather here.
2. Went out for ice cream when we were done with the yard (my cheat day) and I was still able to do KPC later on in the evening to burn off the ice cream. Yeah, I feel guilty when I cheat, even on my day to cheat!
3. DH and I had a nice conversation by ourselves that cleared out a few things that were on my mind. Now I feel better.

Charlotte~~

Happy 1st day of Spring!

1.The five of us went for a bike ride together.
2.I got some of the pruning done in the yard (hopefully I pruned the right things since this is our first spring here and I don't have any idea what is in the yard. We might have to replantsome things). Oops! LOL!
3.Went shopping w/o too much fighting from the boys! Yeah!

Pinky, I loved that book. One of the author's has a weekly journal--Catherine Newman. She posts it on babycenter.com it is tiltled Bringing Up Ben and Birdy. It is hilarious, and thought provoking. If you don't have kids you probably won't like it though :) Also, I believe the editor's husband wrote his own male version of Bitch In the House.

WTG Jess on the weight loss!! Awesome!!

1. I ran 4 miles tonight
2. I got a lot of housecleaning done
3. I played for a long time with my boys outside, and got a lot of gardening done at the same time. :)

Lori

Lori, thanks for the info. I'll check it out soon. I DID order the male version, "Bastard on the Couch", yesterday. I AM glad there is a male voice.

I am awed by writers who are so prolific, they are on both actual and virtual pages. I once got an e-mail from Gayle Brandeis, author of "Fruitflesh: Seeds of Inspiration for Women Who Write", thanking me for a review I posted on her book on Amazon. I was flabbergasted when she answered, "Yes, I AM the real deal," to my "Is this a crank e-mail, or are you for real?":)

Pinky

That is cool Pinky. What a nice thing for the author to do. Neat title of her book also. I had the opportunity to speak to an artist on the phone that I admire. She isn't that big of a deal, but she has won many awards, and does beautiful work.

1. I began eating clean today for the first time ever. I think I did pretty good and I hope I can keep it up!

2. I went to church for the first time in about 8 months and actually enjoyed it.

3. I played tennis with my husband(who I am separated from) and we got along great!

1. Today my whole family got together with my mother to celebrate what would have been my parents 50th wedding anniversary if my father hadn't died last year. There were tears, but we toasted to a great couple and to 49 great years of marriage.

2. I had oysters on the half shell - my favorite.

3. My niece got into her first choice college. I'm so happy for her!
