Katie....thanks!! Well, let me just say that I said a few more things during the workout only I can't repeat them here:+ }( !! Great workout....I love PLB:) !!!!

Lisa...LOL!! YES...it's awesome to be this far into the madness, especially when you have plenty of company:p :) !! We really give meaning to the phrase "birds of a feather flock together"!!

Oh Annette, how awful! I hope this passes quickly and that you will feel better really soon!

Mariangeles......Thanks so much for that suggestion!!!!! I will definitely try it this week, most likely thursday. Well my dear your workouts are so insane that you deserve to have a workout or two named after you:p :7 :7 !!

Sandra.....Oh yes out of all the premixes that I enjoy I tend to pull out KPC/L&G premixes most often....I feel they compliment each other perfectly:7 Yes, my BF is an instructor but she lives in Maine so unfortunately I can't take her classses unless I go up to visit her which is usually once a year:-( She is also a fitness competitor and I'm SOOOOOOOOOO PROUD OF HER!!! She only started competing about a year ago and I believe she has won 5 of the 7 shows she has participated in. Not only is she gorgeous on the outside but she is just as beautiful on the inside........she inspires me more than she can EVER know!! I could go on and on and on about her Sandra (oh the tears of pride are about to start!) but I will give you her website because that really speaks volumes!! www.saramorin.com
Let me know what you think!! She also reminds me so much of cathe...both her physique, how she teaches and the fact they both have 2 gorgeous little boys!! Yes, I introduced her to Cathe and she LOVES KPC/L&G by the way! As a matter of fact, when she came down to visit me in August, I had just received the KPC dvd so just a little while after arriving we went down to my basement and did the whole thing together...LOL!! It was a blast and she was so impressed by cathe!! Since we don't get to see each other as often as we'd like we really enjoy working out together!

As far as the mimosas go, I really don't use exact measurements (of course keep in mind the more you make the less precise you will be..lol!!) but I take either flutes or wine glasses and fill each glass with about 1/4 champagne and the rest with orange juice...you could add a little more but you don't want your guests to get too "happy" too soon! As far as making a non alcoholic version I am pretty sure that a large liquor store would carry non-alcoholic champagne...really anything that would give the orange juice that "fizz". Another variation on this theme is the bellini....same as mimosa only you use peach juice instead of orange juice...they are SOOO good too!!:7 :7 Well I hope that helps.....let me know if you need any more info!!

Ciao tutti!

Thanks for all the get well wishes. I am just starting to feel stronger.

Annette - sorry to hear you are not feeling well. I feel your pain. Get well soon.

This morning I just had to work out, although I know I wasn't at full strength just yet. So, I did intervals 1-5 of IMax. Although I was ready to pass out after only half the workout, it felt so good to get moving again.

When I got home from work there was a Cathe box just waiting to be opened! My xmas gift to myself of KPC, XT exress and cathe t-shirt arrived. Although I can't wait to try my new workouts, I think I will have to wait for the weekend when I am feeling stronger.

Even though I couldn't workout the last few days, just reading about everyone else's awesome workouts kept me going.

Thanks all,

Til tomorrow...

Tammy

Hi Everyone! Just got the chance to peek in and see what's been going on. I haven't been on the boards the past few days and am looking forward to getting caught up.

Everyone has been so busy, Sandra that premix has me shaking my head just thinking about it, what an accomplishment!!!:)

Today I taught a BodyPump class and went back to work. What a shift in gears!!! I've been working out over the holidays but am feeling a bit soft around the edges for my liking, I won't worry about it until we get through New Years!

I guess I'll get caught up later, the kids are starting the movie with out me, we're watching 'Napolean Dynamite'.

Hope you feel better soon Annette!

Take Care
Laurie:)

Hi,

Today I did 1.0 hour ramping class with a salsa flavor. Very good class and lots of fun too! I also stationary biked for 30 minutes before class, and my husband and I went for a 3 hour walk. I should also mention that i snuck in a 1/2 hour nap before our long walk. It was the best power nap in a long time.

I am trying to reduce the size of my thighs by doing some overtraining. I have lost 3-4 inches already of body fat over the course of several months and my clothes fit soooo much better. I have been lifting heavy too. But I think its the 100-200 walking lunges that have really done the trick.

Thanks Katie!!! I really am so proud of her! LOL, yeah I can dream too........that and a little hard work with Cathe....you never know:)! I measure my fitness level by how much I can keep up with her when we work out together:7 so hopefully when I see her again which probably won't be until may or june, I can really surprise her}(

Salsa....did i hear salsa? what is ramping? Suzanne, please enlighten me! Also, do you do this many lunges per day? Whoa!

jes

Ramping is a half circle set on an angle that push off of instead of step on to like the step. Gin miller's website www.ginmiller.com explains ramping. yes, the women who taught the class is from the dom. rep. and she incorporates salsa in all her workouts.

I do 100-200 every other day along with a full leg workout. Also, I do easy biking for 30-70 minutes beofre my step classes.
