I can't believe this hasn't been discussed this morning. Maybe no one here watches 24? OMG, I thought it was EXCELLENT! What a great two hours and it went by so fast. I can't wait to watch again tonight.

Anyways, for those who have seen it, the guy who is in charge of all these hits - who is he? Didn't he work for CTU at one time? He looks and sounds familiar to me. Anyone?
 
I'm not sure who he is. I watch religiously. Kiefer looked awesome, as always. I was disappointed that I knew the very second I saw the secret service guy (Keith??) that he was in on the hits. I was SHOCKED that Palmer was killed and Michelle was blown up and Tony was a target...that stunned me! Palmer was a BIG shocker!!!

I think the guy Cloe spent the night with is in on it, too.

I loved the 2 hours and I am very excited for tonight!

As for Jacks love interest...he could do better. However, I am glad they chose someone his age. Looking forward to the triangle with Jack, what's her name (Diane??) and Audrey (yuck).

My favorite line..."The only reason your still conscious is because I don't want to carry you"...I may have to use that one on the kids (kidding...I think):+

Heads up, I think the series will resume on Monday nights (after tonights 2 hours).
 
Oh, I wanted to add about the man behind the curtain...I am predicting that he has a boss...and that guy will have a boss and he will have a boss...like all the other 24 series. There is always a long line of cat and mouse to the head honcho!
 
Debbie, you have a HUGE 24 fan over in in So Cal...we had a 24 get together last night just to celebrate! (I also LOVE Prison Break)

It was an awesome 2 hour premier...Packed with action - they really started this season off with a bang. I do not know who is behind the curtain - a new evil guy with terrorist demands?

I was sad to see President Palmer go - I really liked that guy - unless they are faking his death...but they did show him covered up in the hotel room - so I think he is gone...

I hope Tony Almeda stays with the show...

and I guess the top secret service guy to the wimpy president is a traitor also...

I have seasons 1,2, and 3 on DVD but still need to purchase season 4...

I am always up for a 24 chat
 
FYI, they showed President Palmers real name at the very beginning of the show as "Special Guest Appearance" My husband caught it but kept quiet as to not ruin it for me. I guess if your as observant as he, they screwed that one up!
 
I have to chime in and say that too - I thought it was a great start to the season - they have me hooked once again... I was sad to see Palmer go right off the bat - I always liked him...

Looking forward to tonight!!!
 
I'm with all of you, that was the most awesome season premiere of any show I've ever seen. And what a fresh change of pace to have something horrid actually happen and then work it backward from there for once. I can't believe Palmer's gone either. And don't you love to hate Pres. Logan?! He must be a great actor.

He's excellent! I often think that the prez is going to pee his pants when something goes wrong. What a weak, ineffectual (and, because of that, dangerous) president to have!
 
I agree, I hate Pres. Logan, he's up to something. And he's spineless. And what about Martha? Wow, what a loon! I wonder if he is making her take those drugs to be wacked out like that?
 
i'm with you all - I was hooked on the premier! unfortunately I think have to miss tonite's special but man would I love to catch it!

I loved Palmer as well and don't quite care for Logan - i agree that he's up to no good :)

Great show!
 
Hey girls! I'm a HUGE 24 fan (since season 1.) I still can't believe they killed Palmer. My favorite characters are Jack Bauer and David Palmer and now one of them is gone. What a shocker! Maybe he's not dead like what happened to Jack last season? lol I want Palmer back.

The only thing I know about that guy is that I've never seen him before (in TV or movies) and he's kinda hot.

And when I saw Sean Astin I couldn't stop laughing and saying what the f&*#!!! A hobbit calling the shots? ROTFL! ha ha!
 
CRApPPPPPP! I fell asleep while watching The Wedding Crashers (rented it, so I was forcing myself to watch it before i returned it), then when I woke up, 24 was almost finished!!! I'll have to really pay attention next week -- so sad Palmer's gone. How depressing.

lol @ your hubby Ima. I think he noticed an odd thing like that last season and you mentioned it in one of our 24 threads (I can't remember what it was now, but he sure notices things we do not.) They definitely screw that one up indeed.

I heard Carlos Bernard (he plays Tony in 24) say in one interview that in one of the episodes they had a call from a terrorist and they showed the caller id number on screen and it was a number from the studio. They didn't notice that mistake and after the episode was aired all of a sudden they started receiving random calls from people saying "Is that CTU?", "Can I talk to Jack?", etc. lmao!
 
Sorry to hijack your thread Debbie, but Judy you have the most adorable puppies! I had to put my yellow lab to sleep earlier last year because he was sick. He was still a puppy and seeing your pic reminds me of my doggie. I love animals, and when it comes to dogs, labs and golden retrievers are my favorites. Take care of those cute dogs, they are absolutely the best dogs ever. Anyway... back to 24. I hope they are faking Palmer's death too. :)
 
Never really liked Keifer until 24! I love the show and yes Chloe is a great CTU agent...:)...not sure if her BF is a bad guy...but there always seems to be one in CTU...Hated seeing Palmer shot. Really made me sad. That bad guy (his name escapes me) that works for the lame President, is such a WORM....grabbing that transcript out of the President's wife's blouse!!! ...Can't wait til next week...:)...Carole
 
Carole you're killing me! Didn't like Keifer before 24?! Did you see Flatliners? How could you not love him in that???!!! Of course I just think awesome acting talent runs in the Sutherland family - JMO.
