Good morning! I might just do KPC too.....Mariángeles, good idea to wait for your injuries to be better before you lift...enjoy the workouts....:)...Carole

Hi all, I did Rhythmic Step minus the challenge, forgot how many moves are in that last combo I was all over the place,LOL!!

Busy day ahead!!:)

Good morning!

This morning completed my week of CTX/ Circuit Max/ Cardio Kicks/ Slow & Heavy rotation. I did Step & Intervals followed by SH Legs & Shoulders. I'm noticing great improvements in my shoulders these days; consistency brings results! But I gotta say about this set of workouts - the music is brutally repetitive! I don't think I'll do this rotation again, because I got so tired of the music. I never cared a ton for it in the first place, and hearing it every day got tired really quick! The only piece of music that I really like alot is the funky one that is only ever played in the first combo of Step & Intervals. She could have put that in a few more times. And, I could do without seeing Power 7's for a while (does anyone else think Power Circuit should be renamed Power 7's?). Nevertheless, I did alot of good work for my fitness level this week, and I'm very pleased with how the week went.

Sandy - so, did you get your workout in yesterday?

Laurie - my cat, who joins me every morning at the computer, is named Casey. We adopted her as a kitten about 12 years ago. Six months after getting her, we got another kitten, and it seemed impossible to name him anything other than Finnegan. We will let it remain a mystery as to whether we have a Tickle Trunk......I hope you're feeling better today :)

Mariángeles - have a good workout, and take caution with those sore muscles. We want you up and running well in time for the HardCore Series!

Carole - your workout yesterday sounds terrific and effective!

All you KPCers, have a great session! Have great workouts everyone!

Good Day All! Taught my classes this morning, had a lot of fun and worked hard. I was thinking about it later, I feel so wonderful afterwards and really enjoy hearing feedback from people, answering questions and hearing their stories. This morning I taught about 60 people and can't imagine how it must make Cathe feel to be touching goodness knows how many 10's of thousands of people or more...it boggles my mind. End of digression...:)

It's nice to see Cathe on the boards and some DVD's in the authoring process. It won't be long now and maybe sooner than most of us predicted (a Girl can always hope).

Sandra, I hear you about the CTX music but it's the RS moaning woman song that drives me bonkers. That's too cute about your kitties. Although I always named my cat's they inevitably are called 'Minou', a throwback to my French Canadian heritage. C'est vrais!:)

Enjoy your weekend workouts All!!

Take Care
Laurie

Hi everyone,

today was MIC and S&H Back. Have to confess I skipped the supermans though; I was really running short on time, and that seemed like the best part to cut out...;)). MIC got me really sweating, it's so strange how the same workout can feel so different on different days, anybody else notice that?

Yes, it must feel unimaginable for Cathe to know how many peoples' lives she's affected in a positive way. And just think of all of us Catheites jumping to her workouts around the world. I sometimes wonder how many other people are doing a Cathe workout at the same time I am here in Scandinavia at 5-6 am, as it is late night in the States for example. It feels funny to think there's someone on the other side of the globe listening to "I know you're tired, but jump HIGHER...." at the same time. Hee, what a world we live in today...

Okay, I'm really beat, so I'm off to bed, hope you all have a great weekend!

Maria

Hi again and thank you for all the healthy wishes.Yes Maria is great that Cathe has non americans fans. Usually in the weekend I workout in the morning ( for example 11:00 am )and while I am sweating the american fan are sleeping ( 5 in the night I think). Have a great weekend.

Laurie yes it has been great to see Cathe in the forums. She answered my answer about the hardcore music. I am happy because she knows now how much I admire her. The kickmax pics are great don't you think? Great weekend.

Annete good workout. Don't worry I have problems with the last RS combo too. So much step and slow feet. Have a great weekend.

Fiddlefit thank you :) You are so tender.Happy for your shoulders improvements.Be carefull with the weight you use and form . I don't want you to injure like me. Have a great rest of the weekend.

Carole I hope you will enjoy KPC like me.I don't want to take the risk of a biger injure lifting again. Have a great weekend.

Chiquita I hope you will have a great workout. Have a great weekend.

I actually posted in the wrong threadx( since I'm not doing the November rotation & meant to post here...I refer you to that thread! LOL

Hi all!

Today was KPC/L&G premix with abs followed by PUB shoulders/triceps/biceps then decided what the heck I'll do PUB abs as well:)! Seems like KPC seems to be the workout of choice today:D!!

Mariangeles, so glad you feel better! You're smart to lay off the weights until you are 100% better....hopefully by Monday you'll be back to your old self:D !

Sandra, oh yes you better believe I did my workout yesterday}(! It killed me not to be able to workout on thurs. Yesterday I did CW step premix followed by PUB Chest/Back/core....I loved it! Oh by the way I was really in the mood for step so before I did PUB I added Step Blast combo #1....it was sooooo much fun!! I'm really enjoying this rotation.....Let me know when you are putting another one together, I would definitely love to join you again. I am soo sore today, haven't done Pyramids in a while so I forget how they can get you}( !! Ok, I have to be totally honest here.....I am really not all that crazy about the CM/CK dvd....this is actually the first Cathe dvd that I'm not head over heels in love with and I think it's because of all the high/low that's involved. The only thing that I really enjoy in CK are the drills, those are great, but the rest of it I could do without. It's a great workout don't get me wrong, but just not my cuppa tea:-(

Annette....RS is one of my favorites, haven't done it in a while, I may just have to pull that one out next week! But like someone else pointed out that part with the woman constantly crying screaming or whatever sounds she seems to be making drives me up the wall as well! How are you feeling lately by the way??

Laurie, yes it is soo nice to have Cathe back on the boards...it's an understatement to say she has been truly missed here:)

Spoke with Sharon from Active You today and I'm expecting my package by Monday.....I think this is the first time ever I can say that I can't wait for Monday}( :7 !! She is really one of the nicest people I've ever met...Sharon is always keeping me posted on the status of my order and since I just received the catalog today we were going through it and she let me know what she had in stock and what would probably have to wait until Jan or Feb and she also went into detail describing the various fabrics and which had the best staying power. Her customer service is really beyond reproach IMHO:7 I'll let you guys know how everything fits once I get it!

Have a great Saturday:)

hi ladies!

this morning i did legs & glutes and PUB. then i went for a 35 miles bike ride this afternoon! i'm ready for a nice, healthy snack after all the calories i burned!

Hi Sandy, thanks for asking. I am much better these days. As long as I have no sugar alcohols or peanut butter I am good to go.

Thanks again for asking.:D

Sandy and Laurie, I am in COMPLETE agreement about the RS music! I LOVE the step, but the music is too repetitive and monotonous for me to do this workout more than once every three weeks or four weeks.

Circuit Max and Cardio Kicks are workouts that I like very much, but I think I just need to continue to space out this series of workouts, so the music doesn't get to me so bad.

Sandy, if you want to play with me, here is my rotation for next week. It's BODY BLAST week, and I am very excited! A fun week! I think you could do most of this with the workouts you have, and probably sub in places you don't. I can't remember all you have.

Mon: Step, Jump & Pump, Premix #4, and I will add the SJP abs in myself at the end. This is the SJP version of Step, Hi/Lo, Weights... Really fun.

Tues: Kick, Punch & Crunch

Weds: Timesaver#2 cardio (SB warm up & Combo #3; SJP hi/lo #1 & 2; SB stretch). SuperSets (sub any total body weight workout; ME perhaps?).

Thurs: Step Blast, followed by the core work from TimeSaver #2 (this is bonus stuff; maybe do PUB core, if you want).

Fri: Timesaver#4 cardio (This is the same as KPC Premix #1). Legs & Glutes.

Sat: Timesaver #1 & #3 cardio (SJP warm up & step; SB combos #1&2). Push Pull (another total body weight workout, but this one is quite light on the legs and only 45 mins. Sub what you think is appropriate).

Incidentally, Sandy, I always do weekly rotations. I find it makes more sense to plan my six days to complement each other, so that I'm getting everything done that I want, but also mixing intensity levels, so I don't overdo it. I always rest on Sundays, then start up the next week with something new. I make up something new for every week, and never do the same week twice. Right now I'm actually doing a 5 week rotation, where I focus on one of her series (either officially produced as such, or an obvious fit as in the past week) each week. I'm doing the Intensity Series; RH+/PH+; CM/CK, CTX, SH; Body Blast; "Stand Alones" (all the old cardios, along with the Pure Strength Series, and HSTA). Within five weeks I will have done my entire Cathe collection :) Next month I might focus all on premixes. I don't know. Haven't decided yet.

Well, I'm going to hang out on the couch with my hubby.

Take care,
Sandra
