1st time doing Step Blast

Hello,
My Step blast came today and I couldn't resist popping it in and getting my workout in, later then I planned but I couldn't just let it sit in the box until tom'w, LOL!

I have to say these steps look and are tough for me but fun, but I think half the time I was staring at the TV saying huh ? I can't move my feet like that, hahahah! Hopefully I will get it all down. Rythmic Step was alot easier to learn for me but I still love it and the music is great! But I was still breathing hard and dripping wet when I was done so I was doing something.

Oh and in the 3rd Blast Challenge those plyo jacks & then you hop up to get air, etc... I LOVE LOVE that part, I was laughing saying yea lets do that one again ( and she did ) LOL!

Hi Laura,

I know what you mean about staring at the tv dazed and confused by some of the moves in Step Blast. Rhythmic Step also seemed easier to learn to me too, but I am bound and determined to get all the moves right in Step Blast. A challenge is always good, and Cathe is good at giving them! Got to love her for that :) I think I'll go give it another try. Let me know how you are doing with it.

Step blast confused me too... I fell off the step a couple of times, It was pretty funny to my 2year old. But that's why I love Cathe's workouts. I always feel like it's a challenge. I know it will be a fun workout once I get the hang of it.

Darlene, omg the other day when I was doing step blast I fell right over twisting my ankle and landed on my behind. I had to quit of course and take a few days off. It was the part where you do the 3 knee repeater but I got in down pack now because now I remember she does this move in Imax 2 but not 3 times, it is where the blast is and you keep doing it for I think a total of 16, 8 each leg.

Laura isn't this fun. It will be even more fun once you know the moves. I did it about 3 times already and each time is getting better.
 
Thats funny how we all have different ways of picking up the choreography. I found this a bit easier than Rythmic Step the first time through. I had a couple of problems with the last section of choreography but I think after the third time through I will be okay. Its a FUN routine! I like it better than Rythmic Step!!
 
I thought it was choreography was easier to grasp than Rhythmic step too! I loved it. i've had my dvd's since last week but because i am 5 months pregnant, i was a bit scared to start them. i did step blast yesterday and LOVED it! i had to modify but it was a great workout. i did push and pull today and it was also great. The new exercises that she has incorporated were fun.

Rhythmic step was my favorite step tape and pour hour was my favorite endurance strength tape. Well after doing step blast and push/pull i may have two new favorites.
