Hi good morning everybody. Today is S & H legs, 200 walking lunges and one premix of the SB/SJP dvd. Have you seen the update? Hoow . I wait the hardcore in the half or the 3 week of January. We are going to start the year with hardcore. Have a nice Sunday.

Hi Mariángeles...as always, your workout takes my breath away!;-)

Thank you for mentioning the update as I had missed it...yikes! I didn't notice the date on it...just assumed it was an old one.

Today is SJP & later if possible a run with Diana. It may not happen due to Christmas shopping, but I will at least get my SJP in!

Hope everyone is doing well & not totally stressed out (like me:p ).
Congratulations to all you ladies who are mastering those darn pikes! The first time I tried one I rolled right off the ball & landed on the floor with a loud "clunk". The cats went flying! LOL

Good morning Mariángeles and Ruth! Reading the update was so fun...I can hardly wait til Hardcore!!

I am doing a 14 mile run and some stretching before. I really need the Hardcore Stretchmax!!

Wendy....I am sooooooooooooo jealous you have IS on DVD...maybe someday...:)...

We're getting closer to Hardcore. With most of the workouts about 70 minutes it looks like I'll be getting up a bit earlier. Oh well, Cathe's worth it:) What a great way to start the new year!!!+)

I haven't decided what workout I'm going to do today. One of the Terminator workouts sound good so maybe I'll do that.

Mariángeles-I did SJP yesterday and it was alot of fun and I used a bit heavier weights so I got a great workout. Tried it with the music louder option(never used that before). It was fine but I think I like the Normal Music option best.

Carole-I agree-I can't wait for Stretch Max (and all the other:))I really want to work on my flexibility this year so I'm really looking forward to that one.

Ruth - I've been thinking about you. I know you're stressed but do you feel a bit better about the holidays?

Today I did a modification of the pyramid workout described by Shaz. Mine was a combo of S&H and pyramid.
From pyramid lower body pyramid up (ie sets of 12, 10, 8):
1. Warmup
2. Leg Press instead of squats
3. Deadlifts

4. Slow and Heavy Legs

All of pyramid upper body pyramid up (ie sets of 12, 10, 8), except warm-up/cooldown, ie:
5. Chest
6. Back
7. Shoulders
8. Triceps
9. Biceps

From pyramid lower body:
10. Floor leg work

From Cardio and Weights:
11. Abs and planks
12. Cooldown/stretch- did ballet and dancer stretch instead

Today was BodyMax. I haven't done BM in a very long time...needless to say, I got a complete workout today!

Good Afternoon!! I enjoyed a long Sunday morning workout today. I started with IMAX2 Blastmania premix and then decided to play a bit and did just the step routines with no blast or recovery except for intervals 2, 4 and 8 which I did just for fun. Can someone please tell me what's the difference between the Blastmania and Blasts only premix?:) I did CW heavy upperbody premix followed by BC upper body only. My arms feel nice and pumped!! }(

Cathy, that workout raised my eyebrow, I think I'll be having some sympathetic DOMS tomorrow just thinking about it!!! I'll have to try it.:)

Carole, boy oh boy, your marathon is getting close! I'm excited for you and fascinated at how your training is unfolding. That's a pretty long run today, you amaze me:)

Lemoney Snickett was good yesterday, my 10 year old absolutely loved it. I hadn't had theatre popcorn in, ohhhh, probably 5 years. I made up for it yesterday and will probably wait another 5 years to have it again.

Hi again,

First of all, what does DOMS mean? My brain just can't figure it out.;)

Today I decided to do the Viper and then I did Bootcamp cardio only premix ---Wheeew, now I'm exhausted.

Laurie- I think Sandra said that one of them does not include the warm up and cool down (Blasts only) and the other one does(Blastmania). I think that's right. That movie theatre popcorn really hits the spot once in a while,Mmmmmmmm:9 Thinking I may have to make some kettle corn later(from a bagx()

i did PS chest/shoulders/tris, then rode my bike for 60 wonderful miles! then i did PS back and bis!

i didn't want to do back before the bike ride.. that's why i split it up!
 
Back to report I got my morning workout as planned, but when I started thinking about running Diana, I looked outside...& it's SNOWING!! :D :D Needless to say, no old Dane is going to run in snow! LOL So I did some rebounding instead...great fun!

Carole, I'm really proud of you...can't wait to see how it goes. I would love to run a marathon someday, but would have to be in better shape than I am now. Great way to start the new year!

Hi Wendy...thanks for thinking about me. I'm more stressed out than ever but I just keep going one day at a time! I have to go back out tonight & shop some more. ~sigh~ Working out helps, of course. Oh...DOMS is "delayed onset muscle soreness".

Mariángeles...how did your workout go? You must REALLY be looking good with all your hard work. Did you see my flag? I've been wanting to put it on for a long time but didn't know how & was too lazy to find out! :p Then I saw your instructions from Debbie & they worked for me too. :)

Wow Cathy...what a workout! Woohoo! I'm going to save your instructions for after Christmas when I go back to heavy lifting. CAN'T WAIT!

Lisa you're the smart one today. I should have rested today but my stress level just would not allow it. I'm going to TRY to rest tomorrow which is easier because I have the added benefit of sleeping later, so what the heck?! :+

I can't eat just a little either. Luckily, we only go to a theatre 2 or 3 times a year, if that. So when I get it, I don't worry about it.

Desertbriez, sounds like a great ride. DH & I love to ride but lately have only done so at the beach on holiday. We want to do it more & DH just got himself a new (used) bike, so naturally it snowed. ;-)

Okay, I have to go back to shoppingx( At least it's on the computer! For now. ~double sigh~

Hi! Today was a nice, calm YogaZone. And now I have to go pull the laundry out of the dryer before it gets all wrinkly and I end up having to iron it.

Laurie - yes, Wendy's right. Blast Only is an "add-on" of specifically blasts and recovery; Blast Mania has the warm up, first step segment, and cool-down/stretch.

Wow, you guys have accomplished some awesome workouts! Way to go! I'm soooo incredibly bummed out because I didn't get a chance to workout today........too many damn holiday things to take care of. I really love this time of year but it sure does get in the way of my workout schedulex( ;( . I hate how I feel when I miss a cathe workout.

Ruth, that bit about the cats going flying when you attempted those pikes cracked me up so much! I have cats too and I could totally picture it:7 :) ! Thanks, I really needed that laugh:)

Sandra, I know this is a pretty hectic week with the holidays and all so if you don't have time to put together a rotation, I can just throw something together:)

Mariangeles......superhuman workout as usual!! Great job:7 :7 !!
