Hello Ladies,

Thought I'd kick us off today.

Todays workout was another ripper. First half MIC followed by buts and guts and I included abs. I love MIC, I am glad its in the rotation I am following! My eating thus far has been O.K ish, bit more on the ish really- but not as bad as usual :)

Its bed for me now to read for a bit. I enjoy reading in bed at the end of the day, however, thats usually "down time" and I start to get the dreaded "munchies" Couple that with the dreaded 3 y.o who stands at my door, whispering "I can't sleep properly, mummy." And so begins the night of "Munching":-( ;

My week is always messed up when we have a holiday tossed in.

Today I have circuits to do. Thinking I'm increasing the *butt* burner on the treadmill. I was so feeling the effects after my Monday circuits. }( }( So it looks like this: 20 minutes bike at average speed /Level 8. Treadmill *butt* burner Incline set at 5% first 10mins--speed at 7.0 then bumping incline to 15%, dropping my speed down cause I don't wanna end up on the floor :) Then it's trainer for 20minutes. Moderate level with resistance set at 10. I wanna do some squats as well. Let's see how my legs manage. Then it's bicep day. I will work them to PUB/ME and do some of the machines at the gym. I will work my core to some DVD. Haven't decided that yet.

Today is my major grocery shopping day. Need fruits/veggies and of course chicken LOL.

I need a refill--- I know I'll be back before I hit the gym.
 
Good Morning Challengers!

Happy to say the scale is moving back down with a couple days of clean eating AND TTOM as arrived...so I would imagine thats why the scale was up. Its so werid as our bodies get older. I am only 29 but before I had DS I would never get bloated or have weight gain when starting my period...now I get it all! Blah! The next 3 days it will be even easier to eat healthy b/c I am home and there aren't dishes of candy everywhere,cake,ice cream and cookies! See what I have to deal with? This stuff isn't even in the cupboards...its in full view!

Work called again today! Geez...I feel bad for the girl who called b/c she is the only one who calls me. I didn't really snap at her but I kind of said "no" in the tone of..."leave me alonnnnnnnnnne" LOL She said, " I know you don't want to come in but I have to call you" The same girl who called in sick last week, is calling in sick today. Her child was sick last week so now she as caught whatever bug she had!

I was thinking about taking one of my full body workouts out of my rotation and just insering legs in there. So todays workout will be cardio and PLB.Im thinking maybe BM2. LOve that one. It won't be until this afternoon though.

Received a nice parcel from my sister yesterday. She lives in an isolated place and had to go to Ottawa for a week. While she was there she found some workout clothes on sale. I didn't expect to get much, just a top. Well...she sent me 4 workout tops (so pretty) and 2 pairs of pants! I asked her how much were they on sale for and there was only 2 things on sale, she paid full price for everything else! What a nut! She really didn't have to do that b/c DH owns a sporting good store and I can't get my workout clothes for cost.

Andrea** Its so weird that you are going to bed when we are getting up! LOL Have a good nap! I think you asked the other day where I worked. I work at a refueling stop for private jets going from the US to Europe or vice versa.We don't see to many famous people. Its mostly people travelling for work...like Kimberly Clark,Anheuser Busch..big companies like that. I like my job, we are just under staffed!

Kath** enjoy your workout today! Sounds like a goody! I still have DOMS from Mon's workout!

Good Morning Challengers

Todays workout is PUB,and hopefully i am able to do it! I have those uncomfortable butt/leg doms from mondays GS legs(first time dong it) and there not better yet! Evertime I sit on my bum its screaming x(

Andrea-I went to bed hungry last night,well kinda. I finally got up and drank about two glasses of water(of course I was up most the night going potty x) Great workout today!

Kath-your an animal on your workouts,I just couldn't imagine doing my TM workout like that! You Go Girl! You and Lori both! I can only do one minute at 7 with no incline and i was completely out of breath! How long have you been working out? For me its 2 1/2 years,but only 'seriously' for about a year now(and by serious i mean Cathe,LOL)

Oh,i forgot to mention that i jumped on the scale this morning(like every other morning,lol) and ive lost a pd...keep your fingers crossed that it continues this for the rest of the week-i didn't lose last week,remember!!! Very exciting! My eating has been great(ive got to get this weight off;-)- im so determined)

My DS's 10th bday was yesterday, so we had a fun-filled busy day and evening. It's time for me to get back on track with my eating. I don't have a problem with exercising. My issue is I like baked goods and my portions are a tad bit on the large side. I like the Consistency challenge. I definitely need to eat cleaner more consistently.

Andrea, I hope you get to sleep. Where do you live or do you work nights?

Kath, Killer workout - great job!

Lori, Congrats with the decrease in #'s. I won't even get on the scale when it's TTOM; it's too discouraging. I'm a bloated mess right now - YUCK.

Amelia, Congrats to you too with losing a lb. You'll be able to do PUB today. Maybe you should add an extra stretch.

My workout is BM2 - scrambled eggs.

Good morning challengers!!! (Nighty-night Andrea!:) )

I am currently choking down a bowl of oatmeal with protein powder and cinnamon. I am just not a huge oatmeal fan, but I feel the need to eat it because it is listed in the Abs Diet. This may be the last time. x( I am going to have to try the protein pancakes.

Today's WO is supposed to be C&W. I do like that one, I'm just unsure when I am going to get my WO in. We have library time this am and then my sitter is coming so that I can go grocery shopping. She is here till 3:00 pm then I think I will WO is the two little ones are still asleep. The do pretty well when I WO, except they like to play Frogger across my step. As soon as I step down, they run across as fast as they can before I step back up. :D

Hearing all this discussion of TTOM makes me really appreciate my hysterectomy. ;)

Seriously, I just want to dump a cup of sugar and tons of butter on this oatmeal......

Andrea, I hope you survived the night with minimal munchies!

Kath, enjoy your butt burner WO! I'll be shopping for fruits, veggies and chicken right along with you! :D

Lori, enjoy your time off of work and WTG on the scale!! Enjoy your new WO clothes. That was very nice of your sister. I am still waiting on my OhMyBod outfit that my sister ordered me for a very late Christmas present. Maybe today!

Amelia, WTG on the loss!!!!! I knew it would come soon!!!!

Shirl, Happy Birthday to your DS!! Enjoy BM2. That's one I own but have been very afraid of! Hopefully I will have the courage to attempt it soon.

AM snack-banana and yogurt
Lunch-lasagne and salad
PM snack-orange and protein bar
Supper-don't know yet

Hey guys! Quick post for me...Wednesday is my crazy day of the week!

This morning was PLB. I've got 7 miles with hills scheduled as well...I may do them after work/school or I may move the run to tomorrow when it's actually cardio day! We'll see how I feel when I get home later!

My son's home sick today, so I've got more free time on my hands than usual for posting.

**Lori**--I've always wondered if your screen name was your birth year. I just turned the big 3-0 a few weeks ago! I was actually not bothered by it at all. I still don't feel like a grown up most of the time :p

I've hit a bit of a plateau in my weightloss because of some increased cravings. I haven't splurged on anything horrible, but I've been eating more calories. Need to buckle down again. The good news is that I've had several people (some of them strangers at the gym) comment that I look like I've lost weight. Woo Hoo!

Today is Imax 2 for me, then I switch to three days of the Gym Styles a la Cathe's Feb. rotation.

Hi everyone. I've been doing better on food this week (ahem - except for the bagel this morning AFTER I'd eaten my shredded wheat w/ blueberries) but WO not so good. I skiied on Monday, rested yesterday, and sorta wussed out today too although I did do a little yoga to stretch out. Nothing that REALLY counts though. I think I'm just bored (gasp!) with my regular stuff. I always get a good WO w/ Cathe, but I'm just not feeling enthused right now.

NEED to make it to the gym to set up w/ a trainer. Just finding the time to even go over there to do that is a MAJOR challenge, though. I'm looking forward to nicer weather and more light in the mornings so I can start running/biking again.

Kath & Lori - I'm totally in AWE of your WO! I wish I could find that kind of motivation.

Nighty night Andrea! I have a 5YO that appears in my bed every once in awhile.

OK, gotta scoot! Busy day as usual! Have a great one, everybody!

Workout is done. Got a nice sweat in. Finished weights and abs.

I'm waiting on DD to go grocery shopping with me. Now mind you, she must think I'm dumb. Why would an 18 year old want to go to the grocery store with her mother? Do you think perhaps she is thinking mom may cave and take her for lunch and/or hit the mall for a few sales????? Evil girl :) :) Actually sounds like a good idea :)She is off for winter break.

Amelia: Thank you I am very proud of my crazy self :) remember I am a lover of the DOMS. And stay away from the scale--it's evil :)

Shirl: Happy b-day to your DS. My son turned 20 last Saturday. That's so crazy. I'm 41 and still can't believe I have kids this old. But it's kinda neat cause I can raid my 18 year old's closet for clothes :)

Becca: That's cute about the kids. How lucky for you to have a sitter while you grocery shop. I would pack all three kids up and we would go. It was either crazy of me or ----ok it was crazy :) I did enjoy it though. I have some gf's who complain about their kids alot. They are younger than mine. I just simply shake my head. They should enjoy them now cause they grow so fast. Watch ou for your little froggies :) :)

Lori: How sweet of your sister. I've been to Ottawa a few times. Lots of things to do there. How's your DS doing? I bet you enjoy spending time with him on your days off. Is DD stil talking about her new boyfriend? I think it was you who mentioned she had one near where your mom lives--if not--ignore me :)

AEHaight: Skiing sounds like fun right now. How lucky for you. I know when I feel like you do about wokring out. I lace up the sneakers and go for a 20minute walk or run. Then I ask myself --"You bored yet?" My DH swears I am Jillian's sister from Biggest loser LOL.

Ok I think DD is all prettied up for grocery shopping--Ha Ha.;-) ;)

Just a quickie to say hi before I get to the work on my desk after taking a couple days off}(

Yesterday ended up being Cardio Fusion - it was fun. And the best part was I worked out in my "new Fitness" room. My DD is now out of the house and I turned her room into my exercise area. Yippee !

Then went shopping for a few extras to start the decorating since I had to repaint. Yippee, more fun !

Today already did a 30 min run and will hit 4DS for an UB workout and cardio - just may do an aerobic walk on the TM too since I downed a few handfuls of Goldfish crackers yesterday:eek: Those little buggers were just calling my name ya know}(

May get the chance to come back at lunch . . . TTFN

I know you have posted this before and I did try and find it, but will you repost the recipe for protein pancakes? I need to shake up my brkfst. I'm not really feeling well, but I will try and make it through my workout tonite.
 
Hi Girls!

Thought I'd chime in. Didn't realize it was sooo late! Its 10:09 here and I am still doing housework. Actually, there is a big releif that comes with this. The last couple of times I did house work it was at lightening speed. Tonight i actually took the time and really did some good cleaning! Now I feel better! I still have laundry to put away though and then I think i will call it a day.

Todays workout was CF and PLB. An awesome workout! Tomorrows workout is suppose to be a long run. Kind of looking forward to it but Im not sure what I am going to watch to keep my mind off of what I am doing,plus I know I am going to have some uncomfortable DOMS in my legs!

Becca** I actually like oatmeal but I know alot of people who don't. Nothing worse then suffering something down that you don't like.

KAth** Did DD want to go shopping? hehe DD is only 12 so when she ask to go I know that there is something up! Oh, that relationship was short lived...I knew it wouldn't last long. And yes, I love spending my days off with DS. He as so much energy its crazy but I love being home!

Roxie** Hope you had a good day! What rotation are you doing now?

Kelly** I don't think that 30 will bother me either but Im not looking forward to 40! hehe!

Shirl** There is nothing good about TTOM, Im atually feeling a little better since its started and the bloat as gone down. I also drank a ton of water yesterday.
