Good morning Challengers!

Today is B&G's I will try and do all of it!

And CRAP,is what this week sums up to be!!! Crap,crap,crap....what a waisted week . I would do good all day then as soon as I put the kids to bed....it happens,eating a snack or two when i JUST ATE my sixth snack ! So,im not going anywhere near the scale and I will finish off the week with a smile,then put my game face on starting sunday! Besides,im sure I didn't gain any weight,just didn't lose

ok,now that-that is off my chest,ANYBODY watch Survivor last night? I thought it was pretty good,i was kinda sorry to see jonathon go the way he did. Then Chet volunteered his way out the door-IMO i think chet should have stuck it out and helped Tracy and the fuzzy headed guy vote out ozzy!Afterall she's the reason he lasted this long! I guess his foot was really hurting him??

Morning Challengers :) It's FRIDAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY :) :) :) :)

Today I have a 7mile run on tap. I will work my chest and also my abs. I'm finishing up week 11 and can't believe I made it this far. Esp. with the running part. I'm going to keep running a focus in my workouts because I'm seeing big results. Maybe set up a different running schedule. I'll see what smart coach says. Eats are right on track. I can't believe I don't miss the chips and salsa. I walk by Kettle chips in the grocery store allot and thinking "OK someone put them there to bug me" I smile and walk away. I made banana bread last night --switch sour cream to greek yogurt and man does it taste great. MY husband thinks I loaded it with sugar LOL. I said yes :)Shhh don't tell LOL!

Any plans for the weekend?

WE have a surprise 30th Birthday party tonight at a local PUB. Should be lots of fun. At least it won't be with the friends who trash talk everyone. I swear I'm *Holding fingers up* this close to telling someone off }(

Ok Time for a refill and flip flop loads of laundry.}( :+

Today I think I am going to do a long run. Yesterday afternoon I did 4DSUB and abs but I didn't have the energy to do more cardio. If I have the time I may squeeze and small leg workout in, and definitly abs again.

Ameila** Yeah, its best you step away from the scale. If you did see a gain it would most likely be water weight.

Kath** Enjoy your run today! And your evening. Im working all weekend so no plans for this gal.

Good morning everybody!

Happy Firday! Today is the last day of school until after Easter and we're ALL looking forward to the break!

My workout this morning was BFL upper body. I am at a point on several exercises where I can eek the weights up again. 21.25 on the hammer curls is going to go up about a pound next time. And shoulder presses will go up to about 22 as well. For biceps today, I did my pyramid set of Hanging Concentration Curls like in 4DS. I like that move a LOT!

OK....getting the kids on the bus, then hitting the grocery store. I need some clean eats for the fridge for the weekend. Tonight is my book club meeting and since the book is based in the Circus (Water for Elephants), my best friend (who is hosting the meeting) and I are making circus food. SO let me borrow his hot dog turner and cotton candy maker. So this afternoon we'll be spinning and bagging some cotton candy. Doesn't that sound like SO MUCH FUN! I can't wait! We're also buying roasted peanuts and I picked up some popcorn bags (the circus-kind) and I'll pop popcorn for them! I'm excited.

OK...need to get going. I'll try to check in again just before I walk to the school later.

Hey girls...ive got some sad news;( ;( I just hurt my ankle;( I decided to do HST and during the first cardio(fast feet) my left foot came back and i wasn't balanced so i heard it smack~crackle~pop :-:)-( Then I felt a sharp pain on the outside that still hasn't left yet,that can't be good! I may have to call my doc if it starts hurting bad.x(

Ive done this before oddly enough to my right ankle and i was in bed for a week;( ;( ;( ;(

OH NOOOOO, Amelia - I sure hope it's nothing, take it easy and head to the dr. if it continues to give you problems today. :-(

I've been MIA this because it's just been crazy. I got my new iPod Nano and have been downloading workouts. Once I figure out the iTrain site I'll probably get some of those, too.

I am walking at lunch. I'm bartending tonight, too, and it will be VERY BUSY we are having a karaoke contest so the place will be packed. That will be another workout for sure. :) Then DH and I are going away for the weekend with another couple. Overnight only, but lots of fun and great new memories for sure :D

yes Amelia that's the book. Have fun with it. Wow that's horrible about your ankle. Hope its not too serious.

Lori: I'm sure you are logging a nice long sweaty pumping workout :)Sucks you have to work. Do you get paid more for working a weekend?

I need a shower--- will be back around lunch time perhaps.
 
Quick "break" at work.

Still not feeling well enough to workout today - had to rest twice just while getting ready for work. Don't feel bad, just have a tired body.

Amelia - :eek: OH NO ! Guess surfing was a better idea this AM. I have missed the step a couple times on fast feet myself and look around to see if anyone is watching. My ankles are pretty loose from year of sprains in high school volleyball so I can twist and pop it but then walk away. Both good and bad for me I guess. Hope it feels better - have you been icing young lady?

Kath - you say the running is working for you. Are you older like me (I'm the big 5 0)? I keep reading about the fact that you can't drop weight and lift heavy at the same time but it seems to be what you are doing isn't it? How are you setting up your weekly routines? Also had to laught at you going to the PUB (I was seeing Pyramind Upper Body at first !)

Marcia - nice to "see" you againg, quite a few of us have been busy. So what kind of Nano did you get? I definitely want to get one soon for iTrain workouts too. Plus the weather should get nicer soon for outside runs instead of the TM

Gayle - wow you lift heavy. Not sure if my body will ever get there. My shoulders snap crackle and pop with any overhead work already, but I am pushing on the biceps. Just got my pace weights and it was good to go from 15 to 17.5 cuz I couldn't do 20 which was my next dumbell increment. You are motivating me girl ! :p

Jacque: You think 50 is old? OH my:eek: I know a few 50 year olds who think they are young :) I'm 41. And yup my workouts are working great for me. Hope you get better soon !
 
Hey Girls!

Just wanted to report my workout. I did BM2 Scrammbled eggs (gonna save the run for another day) GS legs floor work and BM2 & 4DS abs.
Eating as been good today but feeling rather lazy now. I better find some energy somewhere considering I have to work tonight!x(

Kath - Ah, you're not quite there yet then. I don't really consider myself "old" from the point of how I live my life, just that my body (metabolism especially) is aging to the point where it just doesn't work the same as it did even only a few years ago. There are the aches and pains, and I work around those just fine - I will always exercise and "run around". But the weight thing has changed lots and the 5 lbs that used to come off in a week just lingers . . .

So you are running and lifting heavy and dropping lbs while eating clean and adding muscle?

Lori - haven't done scrambled eggs before but it sounds tiring. Hope you get some rest before work this weekend.
 
Quickie check in....

I did SJP today minus the hi/lo then a trip to Target, Panera and the grocery store with my friends. Fun moms day out.

Kath, thanks for the recipes!:) :D I can't wait to try them out.

Gotta run. I'll try to BBL for personals, if not I will see you all tomorrow.
