I am not posting my food, due to being ill and having stomach problems I was not on plan. This will probably put me back some and I also feel I lost a week which in terms of stats is sometimes takes two weeks to repair the damage instead of just one *sigh*

Today I am off for a state holiday, it will be a nice day -- Kade is invited to his first birthday party it will be a fun afternoon!

Have a wonderful day!

Good Morning. This weekend's food was a total mess. It is 7:30 a.m. and I'm still stuffed from last night. I hate that feeling but for some reason do this to myself every now and then. I'm off to do MM this morning and get back to my old self.

Kathy- have fun and the birthday party. Sounds like a great afternoon. I'm glad your feeling better.

Good morning to all who follow. Off to workout

Hi girls.

Kathy, Have fun at the B'day party! Don't worry...I know it's frustrating but you'll get back on track and start seeing results again. How long are signed up with Karen for?

Karen, You too...don't worry about your eating. I'm sure you'll be back on track in no time! I didn't eat too well myself yesterday but it sure was YUMMY!:9 }( :p I LOVE MM...ENJOY IT!}(

Sunny, My cruise leaves out of NY and visits Puerto Rico, St. Thomas and Tortola.

Well since I am going on vacation on Wednesday and will no doubt have tons to do tomorrow, I have taken my stats today and also plan to take my pics as well. Since last month I have lost a pound and my body fat % is down by .80. My measurements seem to be the same which is wierd...knowing me I've lost the fat in some really stupid and insignificant place like my pinkie toes!!!:p LOLOL Whatever is the case, my other #s are going in the right direction and I am happy when I look in the mirror so :p (PHHHBBTTTT!) on the tape measure!;)

Tonight is my first running class. I think they are doing 1 min of running alterated with 4 mins of brisk walking. I will actually be AHEAD of the class! WHOA! lol I can't decide if I want to do some other cardio this morning or just leave the cardio to the class and call it an easy cardio day...??? I have to do weights this morning no matter what...So if I decide against extra cardio it's going to be endurance with either Jari's Ripped or Cathe's ME (have done THAT killer in a while!)! If I opt for cardio I will probably pick a circuit to do.

Good morning,

Kathy-glad to have you back and see you are feeling better.

Karen- you are not alone in the eating horrible week. I don't know what is wrong with me. I will do so well for a few weeks and then fall off completely. It's not even TTOM, yetx(

Wendy- bf% is still a loss, even if only in your pinky toe:D . enjoy class tonight.

This morning i did 2 miles on the treadmill and will do legs later on at the gym. since i haven't worked my legs at the gym since mon. of last week, i know i am going to have serious DOMS tomorrow.:(

12-Week Check-in

I do not know what is wrong with me, but I have been in some kind of funk since I returned home from my trip. I am not depressed. At least, I do not think I am. I have no reason to be depressed. I had a nice visit with my family followed by a short and peaceful week at work. I have been struggling with insomnia and only sleeping for 2-3 hours a night. I have not been able to motivate myself to do much of anything. I have not checked in since last week because I did not have the focus or energy to sit here and type. I am exhausted beyond description but too tired to sleep. I get this way when I am depressed, but I have no other symptoms of depression. I am not crying or otherwise feeling emotional. It is time for my cycle, and I feel bloated and miserable. My pants are tight too.

I tried some new Christi Taylor workouts this weekend. I did Happy Hour first. I like it, but I do not love it. It has a lot of repetitious taking it from the top. It will take some time to adjust to Christi’s “watch me” style of cuing. I was able to follow her, but she demonstrates new moves instead of cuing them. She also cues earlier than Cathe. If I do what she says when she says it, I am a step ahead of her at times.

Hi-Lo Heaven is so much fun and definitely one of my happy workouts. It is not over the top in intensity, but it is more intense than Happy Hour. I actually enjoyed it and know that I will love it even more when my energy returns.

I acquired Step N Motion and previewed it. I love the music, and Cathe is adorable! I just want to hug her. The choreography is pretty basic, but I think I can get a good workout out of this. The way I feel now, I could not face the new Cathe.

I had a better day yesterday, and the fog started to lift. I decided to treat myself as if I have a case of minor depression. I am planning some daily relaxation time, and I am also planning to spend time with friends. On the nutrition front, I am attacking this by pulling out my secret weapon and eating a baked potato every day this week. That is my blues buster. Of course, my eating will be very clean too. I am planning to take a break from formal rotations, listen to my body, and do a fun workout every day.

I tried Christi’s CIA 5004 last night. The step workout did not rock my world. The choreography is very basic and broken down a lot without the twirls I love, but I love the hi-lo workout. It is another happy workout to add to my collection. I am looking forward to trying CIA 9801 this week. I also ordered some of Cathe’s earlier workouts last night.

I slept better last night, and I am feeling a little better this morning.

Blessings,
Heather B.

“So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God” (1 Corinthians 10:31 NIV).

RE: 12-Week Check-in

HeatherB- It could be TTOM or it sounds like exhaustion. I think some relaxation tapes will do you good. I hope you feel better.

Wendy- I can't wait to here about the running class. I know you'll just love it. I want to go on the cruise BOO HOO !!!!!!!

SunnyD- I can't blame it on TTOM either. I was just a flat out pig. No other reason other than I wanted to be. Today is a fresh start with some bran cereal and rice milk. Not as good as the Twix ice cream last night but it will do.

Good morning all. I too am suffering from yesterday's food. We went
to TX de Brazil and I really didn't over eat (except for having some
dessert). Since we went for a late lunch I didn't eat dinner and my
stomach still doesn't feel right this morning. One of the those
feelings where you're not sure if you should eat or let it settle
without food.

Yesterday was a rest day. Too bad last night wasn't, sleep wise
anyway. I still am having problems sleeping at night. Then of course the next morning I can't get up and ex. Tonight will be gym night, but I want to be back to exercise mornings. I just feel better throughout the day if I get in the exercise first thing.

kathy, glad you are feeling better. I bet that any damage you did toward your progress will be quickly repaired.

Karen, enjoy MM. I don't know if I have that one. I need to make me a library log of what I do have. I seem to use the same ones over and over.

Wendy, the running class sound really neat. Of the course the cruise does too. We went to St. Thomas once on a cruise out of Puerto Rico and it is absolutely beautiful. Here's a link to some pictures.
www.homepage.mac.com/johnhaywood. The segments are labeled San Juan and St.Thomas. I'm sure you will have a great time. Are you taking Joey or is this adults only?

Heather, like you said listen to your body, take care of yourself and hopefully the fog will lift. I'm going through something similar, but I know the cause of mine is just not being where I want to be in my physical life, personal life, family life etc. Not that any of it's bad, it's just not sustaining me right now. Kind of hard to explain.

Sunnydelite, enjoy your gym leg workout. My doms from last week are finally gone. I thought I would have acquired more than what I got from the personal training session, but I guess I got lucky. Core was sore yesterday and the joints keeping yelling at me from the stretching exercises he had me do, when I move just right.

Hope everyone had a nice Father's Day.

Jean

Hi everyone!! Sorry I went MIA for the weekend, it was busy and now I haven't worked out for 3 days!! In the past that would have been detrimental to my motivation and momentum, but I don't feel that way this time. It's Monday, time to start fresh!

My eating wasn't the greatest this weekend either, mostly I didn't eat enough, oh and yesterday one of my meals was a huge piece of lemon merangue pie! I treated Jon and the kids to dessert out for Father's Day. Oh well!

I hope everyone has a great day, I've missed chatting with you all but I'm back on track today.

Heidi :)

Hi.

I know it's late but I just wanted to let y'all know that I took the first running class tonight. The work out was actually very easy for me as they are quite far behind even MY pathetic outdoor running schedule! LOL They did 4 mins walk/1 mins run cycles for 30 mins. We got some useful info on proper clothing and shoes, etc and they gave us watermelon after the work out! We also got a print out showing good stretches for runners that they will do with us every week after a warm up walk prior to the run. I have to try real hard to add in one more outdoor run on my own as they said we really need to do the run 3x per week to progress at the right pace. I guess I'll have to head out on wednesday evenings when DH is home...

"See" everyone tomorrow!:)

That sounds great Wendy, very interesting!

I did S&H shoulders today and went as heavy as I could, which felt great, tough but great. I also got a 35 minute walk in with hubby.

Good night everyone!

Heidi
