12 Week Challenge Checkin 5-15

Good Morning Challenge Women.

Yesterday was a bad eating day for me. I had every intention of doing pretty well but the picnic got the best of me. I'm so tired this morning. It takes a bad eating day to remind yourself why you shouldn't do it. I'm off to do Muscle max and have a 3mile run. I'm hoping to work off some of this sluggish feelings I have. Man I hate when I do this to myself. When I eat healthy I feel so good. It really isn't worth it to do this to myself but for some reason I still do. One day I'll learn. Now back to getting things on track. MM is calling my name.

Good morning Karen, and everyone else! Karen I indulged in some unhealthy eating over the weekend too, and so I can relate to having to pay for it by not feeling as good as usual. We'll get back to feeling like our old selves (or "new" selves might be a better term) in no time!

Good morning all.

I hope everyone has a wonderful Mother's Day (whether you are a mother or have mother)

The wedding we went to was so much fun. I worked out at the gym at the hotel on Saturday with some heavy upper body work. Chest and shoulders are still feeling it today. And I was so proud because I totally had my eating under control the whole weekend. I was making sure I could splurge on wedding cake. Too bad my drinking was not in control. First of all I'm not really much of a drinker, just a margarita once every couple of months with mexican food. So for me to get tipsy, doesn't take much. And let's just say I went well past the tipsy stage. I really paid for it yesterday. I guess I can now say that I have officially experience a hangover. I'm still not feeling well this morning. I have friends that drink that all time. How and probably more interesting is why do people do that to themselves?

Today's plan is Cardio and Weights.

Good morning fellow challengers,

I also ate unhealthy this weekend, sat and sun. We went to dh's grandmom's on sat. for a big mother's day get together and then on sunday i was with my family and we ate mexican for lunch, then dh prepared an awesome dinner along with dessert for me!! yum, yum:9

yesterday i went to a local gym, my sister ( a personal trainer) came in from nj and we worked out together. whew!! we did legs and shoulders. my legs feel like toast, in a good way. she is considering relocating to nc. I really hope she does it would be nice to work out with someone esp. a personal trainer!!

This a.m. so far i did 3.50 on the treadmill. plan on doing s& h chest and back later on this afternoon.

Wendy- ds #2 will be one on 8/21. only 3 more months...i can't believe it. it's exciting yet sad at the same time. how was joey's first bday party?:)
 
12-Week Check-in

Good morning! I did CTX Kickbox for the first time this morning. I always wear weighted gloves during kickboxing workouts, and my arms definitely got a good workout this morning. Cathe always slays my biceps too. This is another keeper. I think I still like Cardio Kicks better. It does not have any of those power scissors.

Morning -- I am off today and I am glad I am the only one who did not do well (not glad...that did not sound right....). I did horrible the past 2 DAYS.......so I bit the bullet and I signed up for 12 Weeks with Karen Sessions......I will tell you about it later..I am on my way to Houston to meet one of my YaYa friends this evening - I am so excited...she has business in Houston and we are going to meet and go to an Astros game -- see you ladies later!

Sunny, so are you planning a big bash for b'day # 1? Joey's party was tiring but fun. Glad it's over now. ;) Have to get workin' on those thank you's now!:)

My work outs:

saturday: Kickbound rebounding
sunday: Rest
today: MIS
tomorrow: cardio @ gym: run, elliptical or spin...not sure yet.

My eating was pretty awful this weekend due to the party and then Mother's Day yesterday but today I'm back on track as well as I can be considering I need to go grocery shopping in THE WORST way! LOL :p

Hope everyone is doing well...in just a few days month # 1 of the challenge will be coming to a close! We can't forget that we must all take more pics, weigh and measure that day! I'm actually looking forward to it! Am I strange?? :p

Hi Everyone! Boy we're a little bunch lately!

I did CTX Upper Body Split today, and then this evening I did The Bar Method "Designer Sculpting". My gosh my glutes and thighs felt worked, but in a really different way than I've ever felt. After the workout I was feeling it much deeper in the muscles than I'm used to. I'm going to fit these into my Cathe rotation, I'm really curious to see what they do for me.

Did great on my meals and pretty good on my water.

I hope you all had a great day! I know there aren't many of lately, but I'm grateful for all of you who continue to check-in and I hope the ones who can't will show up soon. I know life has a way of derailing our plans. I'm clinging on the tracks for dear life! :7

I'm still here! This weekend was BootCamp and an interval run (which I LOVED!!). My eating was not great, but not terrible, either. I need to do better now and get back on track. No workout for me today. Tomorrow will be a run after work.

I am still awake after watching the season finale for Grey's Anatomy. I love that show!

Water intake has been great. I just need to continue the way I have been since the beginning of the challenge. I know it works! Hang on everyone!

I love love love Grey's Anatomy.. The finale took my breath away!! Meridith and Derrick!!!! ;) When does it come back on? Love Love it.
