Cathlete
Good Morning Ladies. I see your not up yet Lori. That is a good thing. Get that sleep if that's where your at.

Today I am going to do Power Hour. I need a good all over total body with no jumping in it. It's raining outside and I'm so tired. Hopefully this will get me going. I was going to weigh in but since I have a heavy TOTM I'm putting if off until sometime this week.

Last week my food intake was perfect but last night I have a cheat meal which included Easter Canday. I ate about 6 chocolate bunnies and a couple of other pieces of pure crap. The good thing is, is that I didn't eat and eat until sickness. I ate the handful of crap and left it at that so I am pretty happy with that.

Off to workout. Have a great day. Nobody wake Lori. SHHHH!!!!

Good Morning Karen.

I saw that Lori posted as well but I'm gonna post on YOURS and not hers! She ALWAYS get to be first and it's not fair, right? :p :7 :7 :7

Anywho...no work out yesterday. I wasn't happy about that but I feel like I can do HSCh today so I'm getting out of here (the forums) shortly to do just that! I know if I wait too long I could start to feel yucky and then I won't do it.

Karen, your cheat meal sounds like nothing compared to the past 2 days for me! Not only did I scarf down that chocolate bar on saturday but I had a greasy cheeseburger and fries w/cheese at the fleamarket yesterday! I must admit it was delicious but UGH, I didn't need it!x(

Have a great day!:)

Good morning all!

A cheat day/meal is fine...remember that we built in a little leeway for ourselves!

Today will be a 2 mile run (that's all I have time for!). Yesterday's run felt so good after taking a few days off last week. It might have turned into a month off if it were not for this challenge, so I am glad that we are here!

Have a super day!
Jenn

Hi, ladies!

I've got a head cold. After telling myself all day Thursday and Friday that I wasn't going to get it, I got it BAD on Saturday. LOL. I took a rest day yesterday, after 10 days straight of workouts. This morning, I slept in because of my cold, but now I'm not sure if I'll get a workout in today either! I'd like to do PH or ME, but we'll have to see what time allows!

My food was off all day yesterday. My kids' activities were pulling me in so many different directions yesterday, and I began feeling sorry for myself. I just threw all food caution out the window and ATE AND ATE AND ATE! But, today's a new day and I hate that next-day feeling. Chugged tons of water first thing and ate a banana for breakfast. Back to discretionary eating today!

Have an awesome MONDAY!

12-Week Check-in

Good morning! I did the Low Impact Step + Total Body Sculpting cardio and weight circuit premix yesterday morning and enjoyed it. I love this workout. I did not expect to like it as much as I do, but it is the perfect intensity for times like this. This is definitely one of my happy workouts like Cardio and Weights and Step, Jump, & Pump. I enjoyed a restful Sunday.

I am practicing maintenance. In preparation for my trip to visit my family next month, I am going to try eating clean without planning everything in advance this week. My goal is to simply maintain my weight this week and get plenty of sleep then hit the ground running Sunday morning.

I am pondering the possibility of fasting animal protein again for a season. I have been eating more dairy and chicken lately and feeling sluggish. Of course, I need to get more sleep this week so I can tell if that is the cause.

I went to the club this morning for the first time in over a month and jogged in the pool. It felt good to be in the water again. One of the club employees had my phone number out to call and check on me. At one time, I was going to the club twice a day. That was last year before the Ya Yas introduced me to Cathe.

Blessings,
Heather B.

RE: 12-Week Check-in

Well, I'm done Power Hour. That was a nice workout. I feel a little less tired. I know it's the weather. I'm spoiled by the sun now.

Wendy- It sounds like we all have a little trouble on Sunday. You, me, Gayle. Any other takers. It's ok. Were all back to normal today. I read you liked the itrain but I don't know if I missed if you did the treamill one. Let me know again if I missed it. That is the one I was thinking of getting.

Jen- Have yourself a nice run today

Gayle- sorry to here of the head cold. Hopefully it won't hang around.

HeatherB- The pool jog sounds refreshing. I wish I had a membership like you and Wendy just to switch off scenery once in a while.

RE: 12-Week Check-in

Hi all. Well I ate pretty well this weekend considering I was traveling. But I made a big mistake when I got up this morning. I weighed myself and was so depressed that I had gained that I just let loose. I know deep in my mind that it is going to be water weight from traveling and tom, but the front of my mind said "well if you're gonna gain weight even though you are eating well, you might as well eat bad." Why did I listen to the front of my brain? I had brownies and chips for breakfast along with my healthy cereal w/strawberries. I really need to get it together.

I'll check back later to catch up from the weekend.

I hope everyone is doing better than me.

RE: 12-Week Check-in

Hi.

I'm peeking back in for a few!:) I'm on a "break" from cleaning. ;)

Gloria, I know what you mean about those last few pounds. According to a formula that Karen posted in a different thread, I have approximately 4 more pounds of fat to lose in order to be at 18% body fat (well, atleast according to my omron which is good enough for me!:) )!!!

I am about to start the final week of the rotation I am doing so I need to consider what I will do next. YIKES! I have a couple of ideas...I'm going to see what else I can come up with.

Later gators! :)

RE: 12-Week Check-in

I checked in with Lori's post but I guess you guys are all over "here". Where'd ya go Lori? :)

I did CTX Power Circuit this morning. This weekend my Hubby said "your bum looks smaller". Man I've been watching for him to say that because that's when I know I've done well.

I also discovered I am now weighing less than my pre-pregnancy weight...I wish I could say I'm at my pre-pregnancy SIZE. Why can't it work that way?? LOL! x(

I did well on my eating this weekend but I also was not in the presence of any temptations....so those of you who indulged, don't be too hard on yourselves.

Catch ya later!

RE: 12-Week Check-in

Back from my run. I got in 3 miles instead of 2...had to push DD along though to keep the pace!

Ate well..it was dessert day in the lounge for teacher appreciation week. I took one half of a small piece of layer bars (Hello Dolly...whatever you call them...they are delicious!!!). I only ate one bite of the piece that I took and it was sooooooo good. I savored it and looked at what was left and threw the rest away! There were so many desserts to say no to! Yikes! I was amazed at the ladies that stood there for 15 full minutes and just ate and ate!

It is a new week and we are all back on track! Keep up the efforts! We can do it!
Jenn

RE: 12-Week Check-in

Hi ladies! I put an extra set of risers under my step starting today. The thing is I've always avoided Cathe's step workouts and have only just begun conquoring my fear of them! So I had been using my step with no risers! LOL! Oh well, it's an accomplishment. I did CTX Power Circuit, that one is a toughy.

Meals today:

1. Go Lean cereal + blueberries, flaxseed, sunflower seeds, soy milk; grapefruit juice
2. ww bread, canned salmon, 1 egg white, 1c. tomato juice
3. Moroccan Lentil Soup + 1 tsp. nat. pb for healthy fat
4. chicken, sweet potato, nat. pb
5. cottage cheese, ww bread

I'm contemplating my next rotation, I'm leaning towards July '03 - Fat Loss and Defintion. We'll see.
